I am my family and friends go to when/if they need someone to take care of their animals-whether it be dropping in for potty breaks and/or walks during busy days or dog sitting when on vacations, I know what it takes to love and care for my own animals and can provide the same care for your own pup. Let me help take the stress out of finding reliable care! I have experience with all ages and am comfortable with learning and catering to your dog's specific needs and routines. I currently work from home 3 days a week and can tailor my work schedule to meet your needs during the week. The remaining weekdays I am available in the afternoons, starting at 3pm. Weekends are also flexible After gaining your pet's trust, I will stick to their usual routine by offering potty breaks, daily walks, food schedule and tons of attention. I also can offer updates that tailor your needs to show that your pet is in great care.
“Taylor was great with my dog, Nika. She accepted a last minute booking when my regular sitter fell through which was a lifesaver for both me and my dog’s old lady bladder! My dog was also comfortable enough with Taylor to eat some food so that was an added bonus. I’ll be happy to book with Taylor again”

About: growing up with a family dog, i’ve always looked forward to our long walks! since i've moved to care for my grandma and can’t have a pet at my current home, i’m looking to be the dedicated adventure buddy your pup deserves! i’m an avid walker who cleans up after your pet and loves exploring local parks and trails. i’m just as comfortable handling a brisk, high-energy trek as i am a slow, 'sniff-heavy' stroll for seniors or four-legged friends who love getting distracted! all sizes welcome: i absolutely love dogs of all sizes, from tiny pups to extra large breeds. if you have a giant dog, you are in safe hands here! being a taller, sturdily built person gives me a natural physical advantage and a grounded presence :) i don't get easily knocked off balance or intimidated by heavy pullers, meaning your big dogs get the steady, confident, and secure handling they need! hot weather: for dog-friendly clients, i am able to provide low-stress trips to uncrowded, pet-friendly stores/facilities for stimulation and enrichment (including a potty break outside before and after, of course!). i am also happy to walk earlier/later in the day to avoid the heat as well! i also enjoy keeping pets company in-home, whether it's playing with toys, using lick mats, or just spending some time together! my growing services & training: i am now certified in dog training, and offer a train & walk bundle if you're interested!! :) my ultimate goal is to become a true one-stop shop for your dogs, so i am also currently working toward learning professional grooming to add to my services soon! because i work evening and overnight shifts, i have guaranteed availability every morning and midday for your dog’s routine. whether you need a recurring daily walker or a same-day visit because you’re running late, i'm local and ready to jump in! my current job is closing in a few months, so i’ll be even more available for your schedule soon :) in public, i use a short-leash grip, stay hyper-aware of our surroundings without distractions like phones/technology of any kind (aside from photos, of course!), and avoid unknown dogs to keep your pup protected. i pride myself on being a trustworthy, punctual communicator, providing frequent photo updates so you’re always in the loop. i am very confident in my ability to kennel/leash pets & i consider myself well-versed in administering medication. i am keen when reading animal stress signals, ensuring your pet feels safe and understood under my care! as of august ive completed my initial dog training certification and continue learning to better my understanding and confidence in dog training :)
“Madalyn did a great job with my 2 cats! She helped me when I needed someone extremely last minute, sent me numerous updates with pictures and videos, and helped me feel so at ease! I would absolutely use her again 🐾❤️”

“I highly recommend Tara as a pet sitter. She watched my 4 cats over the holidays. She provided excellent care, ensuring they were fed, played with, and received the attention they needed. She also gave our oldest kitty medication during her visits. Tara's reliability and genuine love for animals make her the perfect choice for anyone seeking a trustworthy sitter!”

“Julie is wonderful. She’s great with our pup, communicative, and quick to respond. She was able to help us out very last minute. We’re appreciative of her help and care for our Lenny!”

“Randy was terrific! He was very responsive, dependable and took great care of our two cats. He played with them, fed them and cleaned their litter box. He went above and beyond!”

About: Hello! I am a proud Clevelander and lover of the outdoors. I was previously on Rover as a regular dog-sitter and dog-walker, and looking to pick it up again as my schedule has become flexible. I loved caring for others’ dogs and meeting their needs when their pawrents were out of town or at work! I now live with my husband in a house with two pups of our own, a 8-year-old miniature poodle named Charlie and a 13 -year-old welsh terrier named Prim. I’m available for dog walking during the workweek! I have a flexible schedule these days and would be happy to walk your dog during the weekday. I always approach dogs slowly and allow them to sniff me first. On walks, I allow them to set their own pace. Then, I make sure they are comfortable and settled before I leave.

About: I have tons of experience taking care of numerous dogs from when I babysat during high school and college years. I currently have a 10 year old bichon frise named Bentley, who is updated on all of his shots and am very knowledgeable in training, walking, feeding, health, and playing with dogs. I am currently a stay at home mom to a 4 and 6 year old and have a pretty flexible schedule. My husband Landon has had dogs all his life and would be around if any emergencies arise. I have a fenced in backyard, which is in a nice, suburban neighborhood with lots of sidewalks, grass, and amazing parks nearby for me to walk the dogs. I have a phenomenal veterinarian that is not too far or there are plenty of veterinarians in the area for emergencies, an animal hospital opened on weekends, and a pet store about 5 minutes away. If you want your dog to be well taken care of and have fun in a safe, friendly dog environment then chose me! I'm currently a stay at home mom with family support nearby so I'll have plenty of time to take care and play with your pups/cats! I will follow all rules provided by the client and make sure every pup/cat is well taken care of. If you need me to do another small chore, just let me know!

About: I’ve had a dog since I was 10, his name is Loki. It was up until I was 15 that I started taking care of him. I walked him, fed him, and even taught him tricks like sit, stay, paw, and spin. I also have a cat named Sofie that I’ve had since I was in pre school, I regularly change her litter box. I also have a guinea pig that I take care of and had since last winter. But I absolutely love animals, always wanted to get into an animal related career eventually. I am currently working a part time job at the Solon Police Department to clean there. I get to choose my hours, so it’s pretty flexible. I also have a few classes I will begin taking in the fall at Tri-C for Vet Tech. My priority is making sure their needs come first, feeding them, making sure they have fresh water, letting them out, clean potty space, walking them, giving them good play time, belly rubs of course! Not too many cats enjoy belly rubs, so neck pets will be provided instead!!✨💖
“This is the second time we've booked with Makenna, and I'm yet again a happy customer! She's done a house sitting and drop in visit with fantastic through updates. I feel relieved she's taking such great care of my dog and cat.”

“Lisa did a great job on her first couple of drop ins for my dog. She was very flexible and accommodating, even when I had to change some visit times on her last minute. It’s clear she cares about animals and was very communicative during drop ins, which I really appreciate. I would definitely recommend Lisa and will be using her again.”
“I had the pleasure of having Dana as a drop-in sitter for my dog, and she was absolutely awesome! From the very first visit, she established a great rapport with my furry friend, making him feel comfortable and cared for. She was always punctual and communicated effectively, providing detailed updates and adorable photos during each visit. It's clear that she genuinely loves animals and goes above and beyond to ensure they are happy and well-cared for. Her attention to detail and commitment to ensuring my dog's well-being gave me peace of mind while I was away. I highly recommend Dana to anyone in need of a reliable, compassionate, and professional pet sitter. Thank you for your outstanding service! -Parks Family”

Christa was able to come when I needed someone on short notice and our regular sitter was unavailable. She responded quickly and was able to help out. Our dogs seemed comfortable with her, and she did a nice job taking care of them. I would request Christa again if I needed someone to fill in

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
