“Katelynn is super nice! She was great with Bella, and Bella loves her too. You can tell she really loves pets. She’s super organized and prompt and knows this application well because she was able to help me reschedule a couple of times. I will definitely be using Katelynn in the future!”

“The BEST! I was worried about leaving my senior girl for a few days, but Marcus had it under control! Effie loved being with him! In fact, when I returned from my weekend trip, after I greeted her, she walked to the hall to see if anyone else was coming. She was hoping for Marcus! 😁 Good communication and good prices. I highly recommend Marcus!”
“We had the best experience with Maria! She watched our cat for us for 1 week while we were out of town & it could not have gone any better. She dropped by twice a day, gave our cat plenty of love & affection, & sent us lots of pics & updates while we were away which we appreciated so much. Our cat can be very shy but she warmed up to Maria almost instantly & we knew she was in the best care while we were away. We will definitely be booking with Maria again & would recommend her to anyone needing a sitter for their furry friend :)”

About: Hi! My name is Ebony, and I’m a college student pursuing a degree in Veterinary Technology. I’ve had cats and dogs my entire life and currently have a dog of my own, so caring for animals isn’t just a job… it’s my passion. With my background, I’m comfortable administering oral medications, recognizing changes in behavior, and responding appropriately in emergency situations. Cleanliness and organization are very important to me, and I always make sure your home and your pet’s space are left tidy. I am more than happy to provide regular updates and photos, so you always know how your fur baby is doing while you’re away. ❤️ While I attend school full-time , my availability outside of classes is fully dedicated to your pet’s care. I currently offer in-home sitting and walking services so your pet can stay in their familiar environment and maintain their daily routine. I understand how important patience, consistency, and compassion are when it comes to building trust with both pets and their owners. I strictly follow all provided feeding schedules, dietary needs, medication instructions, and routines to ensure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and stress-free in their own home. Thank you for considering me as your sitter ❣️
About: My husband and I have owned dogs and cats our whole lives and I have been taking care of other people’s pets since I was in high school and have experience with cats and dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. My goal is to provide dependable care and regular updates so you can enjoy peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands. My husband and I are both approved rover pet care takers so one or both of us may be the one to help! I’m a stay at home mom with a husband who works remote so I’m very flexible! This allows me to provide consistent care, frequent potty breaks, walks, and lots of attention throughout the day. Your pet will receive plenty of supervision and companionship while in my care. We are always happy with last minute bookings, so feel free to reach out! Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I carefully follow each pet's routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any special instructions provided. I always keep pets supervised, ensure doors and gates are secure, and pay close attention during walks and outdoor time. I provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and well cared for while you're away.
“We are beyond happy that we had Emily to care for our 3 dogs while we were out of town! She went above and beyond to care for them and to communicate so that we knew they were in good hands! We highly recommend her!!”

About: I have taken care of animals, my entire life. These include not only cats and dogs, but fish, and hamsters. This was for family, friends, and coworkers. I do work Monday through Friday however, I do have flexibility with my schedule, especially in the morning and late afternoon afternoons, and early evening evenings. My weekends tend to be free. And whenever you instruct me to do, I will do with extra care and tenderness. This includes any type of medication's and special needs. Thank you.

“Roxanne is wonderful! She was very communicative and prompt, and did exactly what she said she would do with our dog. We absolutely trust her and will use her again. We highly recommend her :-)”

“We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Emma! She was absolutely incredible with our dog, Reagan, and we felt completely at ease knowing she was in such loving and caring hands while we were away. Emma went so far above and beyond what we could have ever expected. She was incredibly attentive to Reagan’s needs and wants, and her level of care and thoughtfulness meant so much to us. What stood out most was how genuinely Emma cared about Reagan. She didn’t treat her like just another dog she was watching, she took the time to get to know her, make her feel comfortable, give her plenty of love and attention, and she always took the extra step to keep Reagan happy. Her communication throughout the week was wonderful, and her updates gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It can be really hard to leave your pet with someone else, but Emma made the entire experience so easy. We came home to a happy, comfortable, and well-loved dog, and we are incredibly grateful for everything she did. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, responsible, compassionate, attentive, and genuinely wonderful with animals, look no further than Emma. We recommend her without hesitation!”

About: Hi! I'm a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats. Since 2008, I've volunteered at a local animal shelter, walking dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I've also provided trusted dog sitting for family and friends over the years, treating every pet like they're part of my own family. I'm passionate about animal welfare and believe every pet deserves patience, kindness, and lots of love. Whether it's a walk, a drop-in visit, or overnight care, I'll make sure your furry family member feels safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. I have a fenced-in yard and two friendly dogs who are very calm to keep your pup company also. My husband works from home and I too am home mostly. It will be very rare when your pup is left alone in our house and if it is the case I am comfortable crating or leaving your pup to have the run of the house if that is what you would prefer. I have a neighborhood filled with sidewalks where many, many dogs walk so the sniffing is a must! I have a fenced-in yard and two friendly dogs who are very calm to keep your pup company also. About: I’ve had experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities, and animals have always been a huge part of my life. At home, I currently have a pitbull mix and a weiner dog, so I’m very comfortable handling different energy levels, temperaments, and routines. I also have experience caring for cats and other family dogs over the years. I regularly dog sat a Vizsla named Henry, which gave me experience with high-energy breeds that need lots of attention, exercise, and affection. In addition to pet care, I currently work as a nanny for a family with a French Bulldog and a Bernedoodle, so I’m around dogs every day and absolutely love spending time with them. I’m patient, dependable, attentive, and genuinely love making animals feel safe, happy, and cared for while their owners are away. Pet care is something that’s naturally built into my everyday life and routine. My dogs are a huge part of my day, whether it’s waking up and letting them out first thing in the morning, feeding them, taking them on walks, playing with them, or just spending time with them throughout the day. I’m very used to giving animals constant attention, comfort, and structure because that’s just how I’ve always cared for my own pets. Having both a pitbull mix and a weiner dog has taught me how different every dog’s personality and needs can be. One may want to cuddle while the other wants to play or go outside, so I’m very attentive to their behavior and routines. I also work as a nanny for a family with a French Bulldog and Bernedoodle, so caring for dogs is something that continues throughout my day even while I’m working. I honestly love being around animals and making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Spending time with dogs doesn’t feel like a chore to me at all — it’s something I genuinely enjoy and naturally prioritize in my daily life. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I try to keep everything as close to their normal routine as possible so their pets feel comfortable, safe, and less stressed while they’re away. I make sure they’re fed on schedule, have fresh water at all times, get plenty of potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and attention throughout the day. I also pay close attention to their behavior and body language so I can make sure they’re happy and doing well. I understand how important it is for owners to trust the person staying in their home with their pets, so I’m very respectful, dependable, and clean. I make sure the home stays tidy, follow any instructions carefully, and keep owners updated with messages and pictures so they know their pets are being well cared for. I genuinely enjoy bonding with animals and making them feel loved and comfortable while their family is away.
About: I love dogs, at home I have a very friendly bernadoodle, her name is Muffin, so the furry friends that come to our home will be more than accompanied, they will be able to play and interact together. I can take them for walks frequently, which is one of my favorite activities at home, be attentive to their food and water, medical treatments, medicines if necessary as well. I have a large fenced in backyard where pets can explore and take runs without being exposed to any type of danger from the outside. Pets will be more than welcome and I will make them feel at home at all times! Now that I spend all day at home, I can take care of pets full-time, take them for walks, etc. I consider pets my best friends and I really enjoy their company. I have good experience taking care of pets and special medical care as well. I have a large backyard, parks near of my house, so pets can enjoy a good walks. I could also visit the pet owner's homes too.
About: I have always cared for dogs and cats. Happy to walk, potty, feed, spoil, give a good scratch and meds as needed and of course cuddle! I currently work from home, and currently care for my dad and we share responsibility over our lab, Jackson. Its very easy for me to drop by, or stay the night. Happy to sit in your home, walk and potty breaks. Enthusiastic about meeting you and your furry friends. Have either owned pets since I was a kid or sat for friends and neighbors.

Christa was able to come when I needed someone on short notice and our regular sitter was unavailable. She responded quickly and was able to help out. Our dogs seemed comfortable with her, and she did a nice job taking care of them. I would request Christa again if I needed someone to fill in

Lynette is truly wonderful with my dog, Hannah. She cares for her with so much love and attention, and I always have complete peace of mind knowing Hannah is in her hands. Lynette spoils her like she is one of her own, and Hannah absolutely adores her. In fact, when I return from a trip, Hannah will sit by the door waiting for Lynette to come back! That says everything about the special bond they share. Lynette is the only sitter I trust and the only one I will book.

Jane does a great job with our two dogs, and they enjoy seeing her when she watches them. She's good at giving updates and pictures during her visit. We feel comfortable leaving our dogs in her care. She is an excellent pet sitter, and we will definitely book her again.

Taylor was great with my dog, Nika. She accepted a last minute booking when my regular sitter fell through which was a lifesaver for both me and my dog’s old lady bladder! My dog was also comfortable enough with Taylor to eat some food so that was an added bonus. I’ll be happy to book with Taylor again

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
