I have cared for reptiles, fish, rabbits, gerbils, guinea pigs, cats, and dogs throughout my life. About: I have taken care of pets since my youth, and I’m usually the first person my friends and family call when they need someone reliable for the day. I truly enjoy long walks, and having a furry companion along makes them even better. Animals bring so much joy into my life, and I’m always happy to provide attentive, loving care whenever you need a sitter. I currently work full-time remotely, which gives me the flexibility to provide attentive care during the week. I’m also available on weekends, including overnight stays if needed. Please try to coordinate at least three days in advance. I’m easygoing and flexible. I have a spacious backyard where pets can safely roam and get plenty of fresh air. There’s also a bike path right across the street that’s perfect for long walks and exercise. I currently don’t have any pets of my own, though my sister’s dog visits occasionally. I’m always happy to discuss details and tailor care to your pet’s needs when you’re ready.

About: I am answering as a pet owner. I am hoping to start working as a pet sitter/dog walker soon. As a kid we had birds and hamsters, then graduated to cats when I was about 14. As a young adult I usually had up to 4 cats at the same time. When my kids were in high school, my husband introduced me to dogs by re-homing a dog named Lucy. We still have her. I had never had dogs before but I am so glad I did not say NO to hubby at the time. We have 2 dogs now but no cats. I do miss having cats but it became too hard once the second dog was added. I have recently put in my resignation notice at my job of 34 years and would love to do something I have been wanting to do for a long time but never got around to. I should be completely done with my current job in a week or 2. At my house we have invisible fence to keep the dogs from leaving the yard, though our younger dog needs to be on a long lead because he is so excitable and cannot always be trusted to stay in the yard. We also have invisible fence inside to keep both dogs out of the kitchen.

My family adopted our first fur baby when I was 4 years old and we have never been without a pet in the home since. I had two dogs and two cats growing up in my family home and now that I have a family of my own we have two cats named tank and boomer as well as a 6 month old Australian shepherd named Tinkerbell ! About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since a young age. I have experience dog sitting and dog walking, and have always had dogs and cats in my home! I work from home half of the week so I have some flexibility during the week and can be available after work and on weekends! I live in a very dog friendly community with a dog park and dog washing station. I also follow owner’s instructions to make sure their pet is taken care of appropriately and safely!
