“This was my first time using Rover, although many friends us it or are hosts, and this was all new to my corgi, Paisley. We did a pre-visit to make sure she would fit in with Wendy’s two small dogs and her cat, which was great. She was a little overwhelmed and anxious for the first couple of days without me being there, with 2 more dogs boarding too but Wendy handled it well (lots of communication between us, crating for some downtime) and Paisley settled in.”

About: I have tons of experience taking care of numerous dogs from when I babysat during high school and college years. I currently have a 10 year old bichon frise named Bentley, who is updated on all of his shots and am very knowledgeable in training, walking, feeding, health, and playing with dogs. I am currently a stay at home mom to a 4 and 6 year old and have a pretty flexible schedule. My husband Landon has had dogs all his life and would be around if any emergencies arise. I have a fenced in backyard, which is in a nice, suburban neighborhood with lots of sidewalks, grass, and amazing parks nearby for me to walk the dogs. I have a phenomenal veterinarian that is not too far or there are plenty of veterinarians in the area for emergencies, an animal hospital opened on weekends, and a pet store about 5 minutes away. If you want your dog to be well taken care of and have fun in a safe, friendly dog environment then chose me! I'm currently a stay at home mom with family support nearby so I'll have plenty of time to take care and play with your pups/cats! I will follow all rules provided by the client and make sure every pup/cat is well taken care of. If you need me to do another small chore, just let me know!

My 16‑year‑old baby boy chihuahua Harley taught me everything about caring for a truly high‑maintenance senior dog. From medications and special feeding routines to extra snuggles, slow walks, and getting bossed around. ;) I also shared my life with my 11 year old Labrador-baby girl Lexi- who recently passed away from cancer on 5/19. Navigating that journey with her taught me deep compassion, vigilance, and emotional care. I became an expert in monitoring comfort levels, adjusting daily routines, and making every moment count. I get them. • Dogs are absolutely allowed on furniture — cuddles are encouraged here. • We don’t have a fence, but I’m a safety‑first sitter. I leash dogs for every potty break and stay right with them. • Because I work from home, your dog will rarely be left alone. • My home is calm, cozy, and dog friendly. I call myself a helicopter dog parent because I am very cautious- I am checking the pavement temp before walks, we aren’t walking on lawns that have chemical lawn treatment flags, I have a car hammock and dog seatbelt for rides, if I run an errand the dryer won’t be on, etc. Why I Do This I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone. They’re your heart. Your family. Your little shadow. I’ve been in your shoes many times, I’ve used Rover in the past and my goal is to give you that same peace of mind I always looked for — knowing your pup is safe, loved, and truly understood. On weekdays I go to the gym early in the morning and telework daily in my private office with a comfy dog friendly couch. Sometimes I am home on the weekends and sometimes not so it depends on when you need care. If you’re unsure just message me and I can see if I am free. :) if your dog can join us on the boat or on camping trips I can be more flexible with you. Our non-smoking home is pet friendly and I have a 12 year old daughter who loves animals. I do not have any animals in my home. For potty breaks your pet would be leashed.
