I check doorways before opening and closing, check areas for debris of any kind on the floor or in reachable areas that might result in a "not-so good time". Keeping your pet safe is my #1 goal.

About: growing up with a family dog, i’ve always looked forward to our long walks! since i've moved to care for my grandma and can’t have a pet at my current home, i’m looking to be the dedicated adventure buddy your pup deserves! i’m an avid walker who cleans up after your pet and loves exploring local parks and trails. i’m just as comfortable handling a brisk, high energy trek as i am a slow, 'sniff heavy' stroll for seniors or 4 legged friends who love getting distracted! all sizes welcome: i absolutely love dogs of all sizes, from tiny pups to extra large breeds. if you have a giant dog, you are in safe hands here! being a taller, sturdily built person gives me a natural physical advantage and a grounded presence :) i don't get easily knocked off balance or intimidated by heavy pullers, meaning your big dogs get the steady, confident, and secure handling they need! hot weather: for dog-friendly clients, i am able to provide low-stress trips to uncrowded, pet-friendly stores/facilities for stimulation and enrichment (including a potty break outside before and after, of course!). i am also happy to walk earlier/later in the day to avoid the heat as well! i also enjoy keeping pets company in-home, whether it's playing with toys, using lick mats, or just spending some time together! my growing services & training: i am now certified in dog training, and offer a train & walk bundle if you're interested!! :) my ultimate goal is to become a true one-stop shop for your dogs, so i am also currently working toward learning professional grooming to add to my services soon! because i work evening and overnight shifts, i have guaranteed availability every morning and midday for your dog’s routine. whether you need a recurring daily walker or a same-day visit because you’re running late, i'm local and ready to jump in! my current job is closing in a few months, so i’ll be even more available for your schedule soon :) in public, i use a short-leash grip, stay hyper-aware of our surroundings without distractions like phones/technology of any kind (aside from photos, of course!), and avoid unknown dogs to keep your pup protected. i pride myself on being a trustworthy, punctual communicator, providing frequent photo updates so you’re always in the loop. i am very confident in my ability to kennel/leash pets & i consider myself well-versed in administering medication. i am keen when reading animal stress signals, ensuring your pet feels safe and understood under my care! as of august ive completed my initial dog training certification and continue learning to better my understanding and confidence in dog training :)

About: Hi my name is Yocheved, but a lot of people call me Yo, or Ava. I am an only parent to a wonderful, active middle schooler. We have a happy home full of love and laughter, and 2 kitties. After 14 magical years together, we lost our dog to old age, a couple years back. I miss the feel of having a dog around, but I know in my heart of hearts we are all a little older, and a little busier, and our home cannot house a new permanent four-legged resident. But I do not accept the lack of dogs in our lives! I said yes to dog sitting lately, and I have made so many new friends since. Hanging out with your dogs or cats when you're unable to be there- it's become a thing I look forward to in my home. I love walking the neighborhood or doing drop-ins to feed cats. Let me help you! I'm currently WFH part time, and tend to end my days on the early side, for parenting purposes. Because of this I'm pretty flexible and available throughout the week. I tend to all pets, like I would for my own. I cared for my dog through cancer, twice- so I'm pretty familiar with medicine, senior care, and all the extra effort needed for older or sick animlas. I want to know their personality, their favorite things, their quirks, what makes them nervous, how they like to sleep, what their normal routine looks like, and what makes their tail start going a mile a minute. That also means I can give extra attention when a dog needs it, whether that’s an energetic play session, a quiet afternoon, an older dog who needs to take things slower, or simply someone to sit beside them when they miss their family. 🐕 Meet Kenobi: Of course, no stay at our house would be complete without Kenobi, my 4 year old yellow Lab and resident Buddy. About: I've always been around dogs, cats, kittens, or puppies. Since I was young, we've had some kind of furry animal. The litters of puppies and kittens were always my favorite. They became part of my heart. My favorite past time activity as a kid was playing outside with the pets. I'm a full time student, but after class I am available to make sure the pets I care for get lots of love and attention. My pets have a lot of space outside and are really simple to take care of. I love the routine we've built. With my clients, I made sure to keep the pets well fed and always having water. As well as keeping them active.

About: I have been a pet owner and a pet sitter for over a decade. I grew up with pugs and now have a very happy, sweet, old boxer/pittie mix named Lou. From 2016-2017, I worked at a dog daycare in New York City, walking pets to and from home and daycare, and managing rooms of dogs of all sizes while they played, ate meals, and were boarded. I am comfortable walking and caring for dogs of all sizes. I love going on long walks as well. I have reliable transportation and am lucky to have a very flexible schedule. I am currently between full-time work as I recently moved back to Cleveland after 7 years in Miami, Florida, so I am very available for your pet care and pet walking needs. I am very comfortable with dogs of all sizes and other pets including hamsters, cats, and birds. “Jessica dropped-in to feed and take care of our cats twice a day while we were gone for 10 days. She did a wonderful job, we’ve just come home and our cats are still happy and healthy, and their litter boxes clean! We had a crazy wind storm while we were gone that blew open a side door and knocked down part of our fence, she even helped to close & re-lock the door and sent a picture of our fence to let us know what had happened. This help showed me she cared about how we felt when we came home from our trip abroad!”
