You cannot find a better, more caring, surrogate dog parent for your 4 legged kids. About: My husband and I own a very sweet, playful Great Dane/mastiff and a pure bred English Mastiff. We have experience with all kinds of dogs and other animals. We have a large finished upstairs where our dog loves to run and play. We have a large backyard that is fully fenced/gated. We walk daily (in nice weather). We have fun toys to play with and a whole room for your dog to sleep in (instead of a cage) but if your dog prefers a cage we have a huge one he can sleep in (or you can bring your own). I stay home so your pet will have plenty of company! We have three young girls who absolutely love playing with dogs. They are gentle and dogs always love them.

They do not allow dogs (unless they are service dogs) into the hall of Fame, so as a Rover sitter myself, I looked for a sitter here. I found Pam and she was great! She provided the care and attention that Bella needed. When we left the Hall of Fame to go pick Bella up, I texted Pam to let her know we were on our way. About: Update June 1, 2026. I have taken a part-time job and right now I can only accept cat drop in requests . Unfortunately I can’t commit to dog walking because of this part-time job unless it’s on the weekend. I am answering as a pet owner. I am hoping to start working as a pet sitter/dog walker soon. As a kid we had birds and hamsters, then graduated to cats when I was about 14. As a young adult I usually had up to 4 cats at the same time. When my kids were in high school, my husband introduced me to dogs by re-homing a dog named Lucy. We still have her. I had never had dogs before but I am so glad I did not say NO to hubby at the time. We have 2 dogs now but no cats. I do miss having cats and hope to again some day. I left my job of 34 years and would love to do something I have been wanting to do for a long time but never got around to. I am happy to care for cats too! At my house we have invisible fence to keep the dogs from leaving the yard, though our younger dog needs to be on a long lead because he is so excitable and cannot always be trusted to stay in the yard. We also have invisible fence inside to keep both dogs out of the kitchen.
