About: I’ve been a dedicated dog owner for more than five years and understand how important it is to leave your dog with someone you trust. My home has a fully fenced yard of nearly an acre for safe outdoor play, and I’m home most of the time, which means your dog will receive plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. What sets me apart is the home environment I provide. I have a friendly, well-socialized host dog who loves meeting and playing with other dogs, helping visiting pups feel comfortable and included. I focus on creating a safe, fun, and low-stress experience where dogs can play, relax, and feel like part of the family. I pay close attention to each dog’s personality and needs, whether they enjoy active play, social interaction, or a quieter environment. My goal is to make every dog feel happy, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. Being an online school teacher has strengthened my patience, attentiveness, and ability to create a safe, positive environment—qualities that I bring to caring for every dog as if they were my own. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. As a virtual teacher, I work from home, which allows me to provide consistent supervision, companionship, and attention throughout the day. Dogs in my care enjoy regular outdoor time in my fenced yard, playtime with my friendly host dog, and plenty of opportunities to relax indoors. Because I’m home during the day, I’m able to closely monitor each dog’s needs and make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and included. On weekends, holidays, and school breaks, my schedule is even more flexible, allowing for extra playtime, and one-on-one attention Your dog's safety, comfort, and well-being are my top priorities. I provide a safe, welcoming home environment with a fenced yard and plenty of opportunities for play, rest, and companionship. Because I work from home, I am able to be present and attentive throughout the day. I take the time to understand each dog's personality and needs, helping them feel comfortable and cared for while away from home. My goal is to create a positive experience where dogs feel safe, happy, and part of the family.

“Amazing dog sitter, would highly recommend. You can really tell that she and her husband care and love the dogs so much. So glad and reassured that Miso was in their hands for a week and had so much fun. Would book again for future trips!”

“Kathleen and Nathan took great care of our dog, Ruthie. Lots of pictures and we really felt like they treated her like family. Will definitely ask them to watch Ruthie next time we travel!”

“Miko had a great time with Desia. She was able to watch him last minute while we went to see family out of town. We received many pictures and videos with updates on our sweet baby which made us not stress as much about leaving him.”

“Katlyn did a wonderful job watching my dog. She was quick to respond to messages, sent lots of picture updates and it was evident she truly cares about animals. We will definitely be using her again!”

“Beth is wonderful! She was patient with my pup and instead of refusing her services to me she was willing to give him a try. Turned out to be a success! Thank you so much for putting my mind at ease and allowing my puppy a chance to develop his confidence.”

“We love using Wyatt to watch our boys. They always come home well cared for and TIRED. He always sends us updates during their stay, is super friendly, and can say he genuinely cares. Definitely recommend boarding with Wyatt. 5/5 stars. Will continue to board with him.”

“Hard to miss how much Nathan and Jenna love dogs. And how could dogs not love them in return? They have the most amazing set up for a play area for the many dogs they welcome to their back yard. They kept me updated with photos and videos of our Petey as he enjoyed romping with other pups in the back yard and found just the right spot on Jenna's lap to cozy up. Thank you Nathan and Jenna for allowing Petey to join the fun at your home.”

“Deanna was awesome and Brownie adjusted to her really well! We received daily pictures with her new friends. Dee responds back quickly. She put our minds at ease and knew our girl would be in good hands!! Definitely will be using her again!!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Hudson
I think Kanga really enjoyed his time with Veronica and her family at “doggy camp”! This was the first time he stayed overnights with anyone but family. From our first meeting, I was confident in the love and care that would be given to Kanga. Veronica has the perfect setting for critter care: big fenced yard, dedicated space in her home for dogs to roam freely, close parks for walks. I was much more concerned that Kanga would be a good house guest than any anxiety over how he would be treated ! Excellent sitter👍

Kimberly was so excellent with Ellie. Ellie is a rescue and we weren't sure how she would respond. Kimberly was so loving to her and she was so reassuring to us. She sent us lots of photos and communicated with us throughout the day. We will definitely look forward to having Ellie stay with Kimberly in the future!

We were so pleased to have found Kimberly to watch our young pup, Edelweiss! Our fur baby is still a puppy and can be a handful at times. Kim took such good care of her and understood her needs. I would definitely recommend Kim and hope to be able to use her services again. Thank you Kim!

I couldn't have asked for a better sitter than Veronica. She took Frankie into her home on short notice, and she was absolutely wonderful. She was very communicative, sending me updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind. Frankie was clearly comfortable and happy during his stay with Veronica. Veronica is reliable, responsible, and a true dog lover. I will definitely be reaching out to her the next time I need someone to watch Frankie for me. Thanks again Veronica!!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
