Ramona was a lifesaver! I had a sitter booked for Thanksgiving for over a month that cancelled the morning I was supposed to drop my dogs off. Ramona replied quickly, sent lots of pictures, and made sure my dogs were happy and comfortable!

Winston had the best stay! This was my first time ever leaving him, and I was understandably nervous, but I felt completely at ease from the start. There was constant communication throughout his stay, with updates that made me feel confident he was in great hands. He was truly treated like part of their family, not just a dog they were watching. I’m so grateful for the care, attention, and love they showed Winston, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again. Highly recommend!

Daniel & Rachel are amazing boarders. They took such great care of my Rottweiler Mia. I had an issue with timing for drop off/ pick up and they were very accommodating. This was Mia's first time being boarded. They took excellent care of Mia for all those days and during that time even were able to introduce her to leash walking which she had never done as she uses an invisible fence on my property and had never been leashed. They even provided information on the exact harness that was used, and I bought my own. Besides how great they took care of her providing her with toys, interaction, attention, and walks I also received daily pics of Mia playing, going to the dog park, etc. They kept me apprised as to how she was doing making my time away worry free & less anxious. If you desire individual care & attention for your dog then Daniel & Rachel are definitely the top choice! Excellent people and excellent communication!

About: Hi, I’m Nicole — a lifelong animal lover and self‑proclaimed helicopter dog parent. Caring for dogs isn’t just something I do — it’s who I am. My babies are in heaven now so I’ve joined rover as a pet sitter. **I kindly request if you’d like to book me, please have your rover profile filled out and photos uploaded.** I’ve spent the last decade-plus loving and supporting two very different pups with very different needs. My 16‑year‑old baby boy chihuahua Harley taught me everything about caring for a truly high‑maintenance senior dog. From medications and special feeding routines to extra snuggles, slow walks, and getting bossed around. ;) I also shared my life with my 11 year old Labrador-baby girl Lexi- who recently passed away from cancer on 5/19. Navigating that journey with her taught me deep compassion, vigilance, and emotional care. I became an expert in monitoring comfort levels, adjusting daily routines, and making every moment count. These experiences shaped the way I care for every dog who comes into my home: with attentiveness, understanding, and the same level of devotion I have given my own. • I treat your dog the way I treat mine — like family. • I am extremely attentive and present. If your pup needs something, I’m there. • Senior dogs and high‑maintenance fur babies are welcome. I get them. • Dogs are absolutely allowed on furniture — cuddles are encouraged here. • We don’t have a fence, but I’m a safety‑first sitter. I leash dogs for every potty break and stay right with them. • Because I work from home, your dog will rarely be left alone. • My home is calm, cozy, and dog friendly. I call myself a helicopter dog parent because I am very cautious- I am checking the pavement temp before walks, we aren’t walking on lawns that have chemical lawn treatment flags, I have a car hammock and dog seatbelt for rides, if I run an errand the dryer won’t be on, etc. Why I Do This I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone. They’re your heart. Your family. Your little shadow. I’ve been in your shoes many times, I’ve used Rover in the past and my goal is to give you that same peace of mind I always looked for — knowing your pup is safe, loved, and truly understood. On weekdays I go to the gym early in the morning and telework daily in my private office with a comfy dog friendly couch. Sometimes I am home on the weekends and sometimes not so it depends on when you need care. If you’re unsure just message me and I can see if I am free. :) if your dog can join us on the boat or on camping trips I can be more flexible with you. Our non-smoking home is pet friendly and I have a 12 year old daughter who loves animals. I do not have any animals in my home. For potty breaks your pet would be leashed.

Our 12ish year old coonhound Howard just got home from his first stay with Karma for the weekend. She made sure he took all his medicine and checked in to let us know how he was doing. I felt so much better with him at her house than at a boarding facility, especially as he gets older. He loves getting all the investigative sniffs in her large fenced in yard!

Susan and her husband cared for Barney like he was their own. They are both very responsible, caring and loving dog owners that Barney was more than comfortable with. Their dog, Jonah, was very well behaved and super friendly. Jonah and Barney were best buds within the first couple minutes of meeting each other. They went on a few walks and played a bunch in their fenced in backyard. Barney was tired out and a happy dog when we came to pick him up :) I would highly recommend Susan to anyone looking for a trusting and caring dog sitter.

About: Hi I’m Hayley! I have about a year of Rover experience, doing doggie drop ins and walks. A little bit about me: I’ve been caring for cats and dogs nearly my entire life. I’ve never met a cat I didn’t love! I have two super friendly poodle mixes Nova and Arlo. Not only have I taken care of cats/dogs for 20+ years, I’m also the first to volunteer to care for my friends and neighbors beloved pets. I once babysat a neighbors 30 outdoor cats! I also have experience with senior cats and dogs. My expertise with dogs are home visits, walking and fetch or playing. I have a toddler who also loves animals and will accompany me at times, so a friendly dog is a MUST. I will watch one small/medium dog at my home in Ravenna prior to meeting them to ensure they get along with my pups. I treat my pets like family members, and would love to care for yours as well! I work a flexible hybrid schedule so I’m willing to work with your schedule. I’m available for overnight doggy daycare at my home for one family friendly pup if you’re out of town. I have a fenced in yard and two friendly pups to keep your dog company. They love to play! I’m willing and able to crate if needed as well.

I think Kanga really enjoyed his time with Veronica and her family at “doggy camp”! This was the first time he stayed overnights with anyone but family. From our first meeting, I was confident in the love and care that would be given to Kanga. Veronica has the perfect setting for critter care: big fenced yard, dedicated space in her home for dogs to roam freely, close parks for walks. I was much more concerned that Kanga would be a good house guest than any anxiety over how he would be treated ! Excellent sitter👍

Kimberly was so excellent with Ellie. Ellie is a rescue and we weren't sure how she would respond. Kimberly was so loving to her and she was so reassuring to us. She sent us lots of photos and communicated with us throughout the day. We will definitely look forward to having Ellie stay with Kimberly in the future!

I couldn't have asked for a better sitter than Veronica. She took Frankie into her home on short notice, and she was absolutely wonderful. She was very communicative, sending me updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind. Frankie was clearly comfortable and happy during his stay with Veronica. Veronica is reliable, responsible, and a true dog lover. I will definitely be reaching out to her the next time I need someone to watch Frankie for me. Thanks again Veronica!!!

There are 886 sitters on Rover for Pet Boarding in Hudson. About 94% of Hudson sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you’re planning ahead for holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day coverage for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
