Sauddi was amazing with my two dogs! She sent pictures and videos every day and took them on plenty of walks. Her care was so good, I was worried that they wouldn’t want to come home 😂

Our dogs can get easily stressed when away from home. When I picked them up from Madison's, they looked relaxed. They were excited to see me but also very much at ease at Madison's which was great to see. I am very glad we know Madison now and look forward to her caring for our boys again!

About: I stand out as a dog walker by providing a level of care that goes beyond a standard walk, focusing on reliability, communication, and personalized attention for every dog. I tailor each walk to fit the dog’s energy level, age, and temperament, while keeping owners informed with updates and photos so they feel confident and at ease. I take pride in being punctual, dependable, and attentive to each pet’s unique needs, whether that means a high-energy outing or a calm, gentle stroll. I also bring a professional yet friendly approach, building trust with both pets and their owners. By combining consistency, thoughtful extras, and genuine care, I create a positive experience that keeps both dogs happy and owners coming back. Dog walking fits naturally into my daily routine, as I already prioritize getting outside for exercise and fresh air. I’m an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys walking regularly, and having a dog as a companion makes it even more enjoyable and rewarding. I’m available after 6:00 PM Monday through Friday, as well as anytime on weekends, which allows me to provide consistent and flexible care for pet owners with busy schedules. This routine not only benefits me but ensures dogs get the attention, activity, and companionship they need on a regular basis. I would be a trustworthy dog walker because I prioritize the safety, well-being, and happiness of every pet in my care. I am reliable, punctual, and communicate clearly with owners, keeping them informed about their dog’s activities and any concerns. My experience as an outdoor enthusiast means I’m comfortable handling dogs of different energy levels and temperaments in a variety of environments. I treat each dog as an individual, providing consistent attention and care, and I take responsibility seriously, ensuring every walk is safe, enjoyable, and stress-free. Owners can have confidence knowing their pets are in capable, attentive hands.

About: Hi I’m Hayley! I have about a year of Rover experience, doing doggie drop ins and walks. A little bit about me: I’ve been caring for cats and dogs nearly my entire life. I’ve never met a cat I didn’t love! I have two super friendly poodle mixes Nova and Arlo. Not only have I taken care of cats/dogs for 20+ years, I’m also the first to volunteer to care for my friends and neighbors beloved pets. I once babysat a neighbors 30 outdoor cats! I also have experience with senior cats and dogs. My expertise with dogs are home visits, walking and fetch or playing. I have a toddler who also loves animals and will accompany me at times, so a friendly dog is a MUST. I will watch one small/medium dog at my home in Ravenna prior to meeting them to ensure they get along with my pups. I treat my pets like family members, and would love to care for yours as well! I work a flexible hybrid schedule so I’m willing to work with your schedule. I’m available for overnight doggy daycare at my home for one family friendly pup if you’re out of town. I have a fenced in yard and two friendly pups to keep your dog company. They love to play! I’m willing and able to crate if needed as well.

About: Hi! My name is Dayne, and I’m a 22 year old college football player with a lifelong love for animals. I’ve grown up around pets my entire life, and spending time with them has always been something I genuinely enjoy. Right now I have a German Shepherd and a Beagle, so I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities. I actually trained my German Shepherd myself from the time he was a puppy, and seeing him grow into such a well behaved, obedient dog has been incredibly rewarding. That experience taught me a lot about patience, consistency, and understanding how every dog learns a little differently. Being a college athlete has also taught me the importance of being dependable, responsible, and sticking to a routine. Those are qualities I bring with me whenever I’m taking care of someone else’s pet. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, potty breaks, or just keeping your dog company while you’re away, I’ll make sure they’re getting the attention and care they deserve. I also have experience with more than just dogs. I grew up with an Umbrella Cockatoo that’s still part of my family’s life today, so I’m familiar with caring for birds. I also own a Bearded Dragon, which has given me experience caring for reptiles as well. I know leaving your pet with someone else can be stressful because they’re family. I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own, make sure they feel safe and comfortable, and always follow your care instructions. My goal is to give you peace of mind while you’re away, knowing your pet is in good hands. I’m a college football player, so all of my athletic commitments are done in the mornings. I also take all of my classes online, which gives me the rest of the day to fully focus on the dogs in my care. My schedule is very structured, and I’m home the majority of the day outside of morning workouts. My own dogs are properly exercised every single day. We go to the dog park, on long walks, and even hikes when the weather is nice. I make sure they are well run and mentally stimulated so they’re balanced and happy. They are fed twice a day with high quality dog food, and I stay consistent with their health needs. My German Shepherd gets joint supplements, and both my Shepherd and Beagle get salmon oil daily. I take their care seriously, and I would treat your dog the exact same way. Being an athlete, I’m already used to routine, discipline, and responsibility. That carries over into how I care for animals. Your dog won’t just be “watched” they’ll be exercised, cared for, and paid attention to. I live in a 1600 square foot home with plenty of space for dogs to move around comfortably. I have a large dog crate available if your dog is crate trained or needs their own quiet space. I also have two friendly, well socialized dogs who love to play and will keep your dog company. Safety is always my top priority. I’m experienced with large breeds and strong dogs, and I understand proper leash control, structure, and supervision. I keep a clean, organized home and always make sure dogs are monitored, comfortable, and secure. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone, and I don’t take that lightly.

Paula and Bill (and Marty!) were absolutely wonderful. When another solution fell through at the last minute, they quickly stepped in to care for Loki during a family event with very short notice. Their warm and caring personalities put me completely at ease, and their home is lovely and welcoming. The attention to detail they showed in caring for him was exactly what I needed during a stressful time. They turned what could have been a difficult situation into an absolute relief. Highly recommend! Thank you!

One of our dogs hurt her leg the night before we left for our trip. So bad to where we had to take her to an emergency vet and we're worried we wo I ld have to cancel our trip or one of us stay behind to watch our dog. But Pat put as at ease she didn't mind taking care of our hurt pup and took great care of her while we were gone. She gave us updates letting us know of her wellbeing and gave her the medicine the vets gave us. Would definitely use Pat again for our doggy boarding.

My dog is usually shy, easily scared, and slow to warm up to new people, so I was shocked at how quickly he bonded with Deanna during the meet and greet. We’ve used drop-in sitters before, but this was our first time trying boarding, and I immediately felt confident leaving him with her. Deanna introduced him to the other dogs in such a calm, skilled, and safe way, and her dogs were so gentle that my pup seemed to adjust much more easily than I expected. When I picked him up, he looked completely relaxed, as if we hadn’t been apart at all! Which made me so happy and relieved. I would absolutely book with Deanna again. Highly recommend!

My best friend Bernie… And energetic and very social beagle… spent a lovely six days with Zachary and his dogs. He was sad to go home, which made ME feel kind of bad but at least I know he had a good time! Zachary was an excellent communicator, and offered photos of Bernie during his stay. Large fenced yard.

Sadie is absolutely wonderful! She watched our puppy Kovu for 5 nights and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the start, she was so understanding of his needs. She sent us daily pictures, videos, and progress updates, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear Kovu was having a great time with her, her son, and her dog. He came home just as happy as when he left! We completely trust her and are so grateful to have found someone who loves our pup like we do. Highly recommend and we'll definitely be booking with her again!

You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
