About: Hi, I’m Nicole — a lifelong animal lover and self‑proclaimed helicopter dog parent. Caring for dogs isn’t just something I do — it’s who I am. My babies are in heaven now so I’ve joined rover as a pet sitter. I’ve spent the last decade-plus loving and supporting two very different pups with very different needs. My 16‑year‑old baby boy chihuahua Harley taught me everything about caring for a truly high‑maintenance senior dog. From medications and special feeding routines to extra snuggles, slow walks, and those middle‑of‑the‑night “I need you now” moments — I’ve handled it all with patience, gentleness, and love. I also shared my life with my 11 year old Labrador-baby girl Lexi- who recently passed away from cancer on 5/19. Navigating that journey with her taught me deep compassion, vigilance, and emotional care. I became an expert in monitoring comfort levels, adjusting daily routines, and making every moment count. These experiences shaped the way I care for every dog who comes into my home: with attentiveness, understanding, and the same level of devotion I have given my own. • I treat your dog the way I treat mine — like family. • I am extremely attentive and present. If your pup needs something, I’m there. • Senior dogs and high‑maintenance fur babies are welcome. I get them. • Dogs are absolutely allowed on furniture — cuddles are encouraged here. • We don’t have a fence, but I’m a safety‑first sitter. I leash dogs for every potty break and stay right with them. • Because I work from home, your dog will rarely be left alone. • My home is calm, cozy, and dog friendly. On weekdays I go to the gym early in the morning and telework daily in my private office with a comfy dog friendly couch. We were passing through the area on our way home from the east coast and needed a place for Dilly to get some exercise and play before we continued our trip. Kristen was fantastic. She is really great with dogs and has 2 friendly ones of her own! She has an amazing huge fenced back yard with trees for shade, squirrels galore, everything my dog Frida could have asked for. She's very responsible, communicated quickly, and it was an overall fantastic experience. I would definitely book with her again and highly recommend her!
Shayna was incredible at caring for my furbaby. She went above and beyond in her care including always communicating with me through out. I think she is the best on Rover! I was nervous leaving my little one for days without me and in a strangers care, but she clearly made it easier and which gave me the confidence that my doggy would be well cared for! Boy was I right! I will book her again as my Yorkie seemed to love her lots. If you ask me she needs to open her own doggy daycare business!!!! Thank you again Shayna!!! I can't say enough wonderful things about Kim!! She was the perfect fit for my 8yr old Mal-Shi, Ella. She took such good care of my anxious little girl, giving her lots of love & comfort, as well as paying attention to the details of her care. She absolutely treated her like the queen that she is.
Our first Rover experience with Kaishin exceeded our already high expectations. We were reassured daily that Fiona was safe and content which enhanced our travel experience knowing she was happy. We are grateful to Kaishin and hope she will consider watching Fiona in the future.
Sadie is absolutely wonderful! She watched our puppy Kovu for 5 nights and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the start, she was so understanding of his needs. She sent us daily pictures, videos, and progress updates, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear Kovu was having a great time with her, her son, and her dog. He came home just as happy as when he left! We completely trust her and are so grateful to have found someone who loves our pup like we do.
