About: Being around dogs is second nature to me, my family has always had furbabies. I treat every animal with compassion. A gentle hand can go a long way. I love dogs and have a great ability to handle them with kindness. I can handle little to big dogs, my own dog is 100lbs. I currently do not have a job that requires me to leave my home for extended hours, so I am able to give all my time to your furbaby. I usually always have my phone on me and can respond quickly. I am currently not working outside of the home and can devote all my hours to your pet. I will incorporate walks and enrichment to keep your pet engaged. I have a fenced in yard, a special insert in my car for hiking if your dog would like a hike. There is a nice trail 5mins from my house. I live in a safe neighborhood and can walk your dog for as long as needed from their normal routines.

My 16‑year‑old baby boy chihuahua Harley taught me everything about caring for a truly high‑maintenance senior dog. From medications and special feeding routines to extra snuggles, slow walks, and getting bossed around. ;) I also shared my life with my 11 year old Labrador-baby girl Lexi- who recently passed away from cancer on 5/19. I call myself a helicopter dog parent because I am very cautious- I am checking the pavement temp before walks, we aren’t walking on lawns that have chemical lawn treatment flags, I have a car hammock and dog seatbelt for rides, if I run an errand the dryer won’t be on, etc. Why I Do This I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone. They’re your heart. Your family. Your little shadow. On weekdays I go to the gym early in the morning and telework daily in my private office with a comfy dog friendly couch. Sometimes I am home on the weekends and sometimes not so it depends on when you need care. Our non-smoking home is pet friendly and I have a 12 year old daughter who loves animals. I do not have any animals in my home. For potty breaks your pet would be leashed.

My best friend Bernie… And energetic and very social beagle… spent a lovely six days with Zachary and his dogs. He was sad to go home, which made ME feel kind of bad but at least I know he had a good time! Zachary was an excellent communicator, and offered photos of Bernie during his stay. Large fenced yard.
Shayna was incredible at caring for my furbaby. She went above and beyond in her care including always communicating with me through out. I think she is the best on Rover! I was nervous leaving my little one for days without me and in a strangers care, but she clearly made it easier and which gave me the confidence that my doggy would be well cared for! Boy was I right! I will book her again as my Yorkie seemed to love her lots. If you ask me she needs to open her own doggy daycare business!!!! Thank you again Shayna!!! Sadie is absolutely wonderful! She watched our puppy Kovu for 5 nights and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the start, she was so understanding of his needs. She sent us daily pictures, videos, and progress updates, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear Kovu was having a great time with her, her son, and her dog. He came home just as happy as when he left! We completely trust her and are so grateful to have found someone who loves our pup like we do.
