About: My father was an animal doctor. I have pets in my life from age 1. I volunteer at Humane society. I rescue dogs including seniors. My passion for animals comes naturally My schedule will meet your schedule whenever possible. I am retired and open to any kind of pet sitting and care. I will also give medications. About: I have always had pets of all kinds growing up along with much love for all wildlife. Currently I have 4 cats, 2 dogs, 3 fish and many snails, and a lot of plants! My dog growing up became diabetic (also blind) and I provided him supportive care for the remaining 5 years he had (including special meals and insulin shots)! I have rescued several cats and found loving homes after getting them medical care (I always keep in touch). One of my cats was a bottle baby after finding her on the side of the road at only 3 weeks old, she is now almost 2. I also provided supportive care for my two eldest cats (11years) after their major surgeries (perineal urethrostomy and gallbladder removal). I am also in the process of obtaining my wildlife rehabilitation permit for I always seem to be brought animals to care for and I would like to do more for them than just transporting to a rehabilitator! I have a lot of room at my house which includes the finished basement area with separate rooms, a mudroom, a large fenced in backyard, and kennels if needed. I'm willing to travel to you, or care for your animals here! All my animals are friendly (successfully introduced and integrated) but if yours needs some privacy I can absolutely provide it. I'm here to help, I hope it's clear how important your fur babies would be to me! I would love to make whatever it is you need happen. I am currently a stay at home mom with my own fur babies. My day starts at 6AM when I wake up to feed and walk the dogs and check to see if the cats need anything. I would be more than happy to care for your animal(s) here or get out of the house and care for them in their home! I have a large fenced in yard, a finished basement with separate rooms, a separate mudroom, and kennels if needed! My 4 cats and 2 dogs roam the house and would love to make new friends, but if your animals are shy, we have plenty of space to accommodate. All I ask is for a clear set of instructions if caring for your pet in your home and you can expect those instructions to be carried out with love and respect for your animal(s) and property. I am also insured for pet care/housesitting through PCI.

About: I am a caring and dependable dog walker with a genuine love and respect for animals. I currently walk two dogs Tuesday through Friday and have built a strong bond with them. One was shy and barked at me at first, but now happily runs up to greet me—an experience I truly value. I also volunteer at the Humane Society animal shelter, where I help feed cats, clean their cages, and walk dogs. At times, my responsible and gentle 14-year-old son assists me on walks, offering extra attention and care to the dogs. My priority is making sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I currently work as a substitute teacher where I decide what days I want to work. I like to work half days which would be from 11am to 3pm but if a client needs me during that time I can be available during that time. I will make sure to follow any instructions or recommendations from the client concerning the well being of their pet. I typically give the dog daily exercise 4 to 5 times per day. With the owner permission I will take dog to the dog park and keep a watchful eye on the dog at all times there. If I feel another dog is getting aggressive I will immediately remove the dog so nothing escalates.

I do live an apartment but there are lots of woods & trails to go on long walks as your dog needs. I also can provide other services such as nail trims, ear cleaning, and bathing. I am home all day and your pup will never be alone. I can also do drop in visits when needed. I look forward to taking care of your fur baby when you are away. I do work full time, I am off Fridays and weekends and I could do a visit before work 7:00am and be there right after work 5:00pm or if I am doing overnight. I would only be gone those hours. 7:00-5:00pm I can easily crate your dog if needed. I do live an apartment but I can take your dog on long walks though the parks.

She was very receptive to the tips we gave her regarding his normal routine, how our poodle normally behaves in certain novel situations and what actions bring about positive outcomes. Marie clearly has a good understanding of how to monitor a dog's behavior and how it is interacting with the environment and other dogs.
