Loving dog walker who enjoys dogs
I am a caring and dependable dog walker with a genuine love and respect for animals. I currently walk two dogs Tuesday through Friday and have built a strong bond with them. One was shy and barked at me at first, but now happily runs up to greet me—an experience I truly value. I also volunteer at the Humane Society animal shelter, where I help feed cats, clean their cages, and walk dogs. At times, my responsible and gentle 14-year-old son assists me on walks, offering extra attention and care to the dogs. As a tutor and substitute teacher with a flexible schedule and summers off, I’m able to provide consistent, reliable care. My priority is making sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for.

Shayna was incredible at caring for my furbaby. She went above and beyond in her care including always communicating with me through out. I think she is the best on Rover! I was nervous leaving my little one for days without me and in a strangers care, but she clearly made it easier and which gave me the confidence that my doggy would be well cared for! Boy was I right! I will book her again as my Yorkie seemed to love her lots. If you ask me she needs to open her own doggy daycare business!!!! Thank you again Shayna!!! My little one came back so happy and full of joy after being with you!!!

I recently boarded my dog for 5 nights, and we had a wonderful experience from start to finish with Shayna. She’s caring, attentive, and made us feel completely comfortable leaving Bowser in her hands. We received updates and could tell he was getting plenty of love, attention, and exercise. He was happy, healthy, and well cared for, which gave me peace of mind. I truly appreciate the excellent care she provided and would recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate dog sitter. I will definitely use her again when I can afford it.

Schedule
My flexible schedule as a tutor and substitute teacher allows me free time to do pet sitting and dog walking. I tend to walk dogs between 8am to 11am and then do my substitute teaching job between 11:45 to 3:15pm and after that will walk a dog as needed. During the summer time Im free all day for walks and for house sitting.

Safety, trust & environment
I will make sure to follow any instructions or recommendations from the client concerning the well being of their pet. I typically give the dog daily exercise 4 to 7 times per day. With the owner permission I will take dog to the dog park and keep a watchful eye on the dog at all times there. If I feel another dog is getting aggressive I will immediately remove the dog so nothing escalates.

A typical day
I love to take dogs in my care to the doggy park that’s about 6 mins from my house. The park gives them an opportunity to socialize with other dogs and it’s a big park where they can get a lot of exercise in.
