We’ve used drop-in sitters before, but this was our first time trying boarding, and I immediately felt confident leaving him with her. Deanna introduced him to the other dogs in such a calm, skilled, and safe way, and her dogs were so gentle that my pup seemed to adjust much more easily than I expected. About: Update June 1, 2026. I have taken a part-time job and right now I can only accept cat drop in requests . Unfortunately I can’t commit to dog walking because of this part-time job unless it’s on the weekend. I am answering as a pet owner. I am hoping to start working as a pet sitter/dog walker soon. As a kid we had birds and hamsters, then graduated to cats when I was about 14. As a young adult I usually had up to 4 cats at the same time. When my kids were in high school, my husband introduced me to dogs by re-homing a dog named Lucy. We still have her. I had never had dogs before but I am so glad I did not say NO to hubby at the time. We have 2 dogs now but no cats. I do miss having cats and hope to again some day. I left my job of 34 years and would love to do something I have been wanting to do for a long time but never got around to. I am happy to care for cats too! At my house we have invisible fence to keep the dogs from leaving the yard, though our younger dog needs to be on a long lead because he is so excitable and cannot always be trusted to stay in the yard. We also have invisible fence inside to keep both dogs out of the kitchen.

About: I have a sweet beagle that was rescued 7 years ago. I am fully responsible for his care, including feeding, walking, bathing, nail trimming, etc. I always check him for ticks after visiting a park and know how to safely remove them. I enjoy going for long walks, especially in summer, so would be glad to give your dog exercise. My kids have had goats, rabbits, chickens, turkeys, and ducks, which are all fun to play with, and I would be glad to care for your less-typical pets, if needed. I have even cared for lizards and snakes. I am a teacher, so have loads of time available in the summer. During the school year, I am available most weekends and after 4 on weekdays. I always keep dogs on leash when walking them...you never know when a squirrel or other dog will come by or how they will react.

I have a verity of experiences from dogs of all sizes, energy and needs! I have also cared for dogs who need extra help getting around and extra care around the house! I work full-time; however, I work remotely giving me the flexibility to care for your pet! I typically work 7:30-4PM and am usually available on most weekends. I have an open area for pets to enjoy; however, I know that not all dogs are trained for this so I am happy to walk them in the neighborhood! Pets inside will enjoy an open home that they are free to enjoy as they would like. If at a client’s home, depending on the dog’s normal routine and client’s requests I will ensure your pet has a safe, enjoyable time while you are away. This will include: play time, walks, pets and whatever else the pet enjoys!
About: I always loved animals. They come second hand in my life. I always take good care of my pets. I have a dog as well I currently delivery drive and I’m also in school. I work once a week and school once a week as well. That is the only time I have a second room and a porch to separate the pets. I have a gate at my dog as well. I have lots of supplies

“This was my fur baby staying overnight only twice in 91/2 years kels husband picked him up he was 20 minutes early which was perfect kels sent many videos & pictures of my doggy just having his sweet Old time he played with their cat poor cat wore him out when he got home he slept 10hours thst morning i HIGHLY RECOMMEND KELSY she was sweet very easy to talk with & the funniest thing was my 80pld dog went over there and slept his big butt on her couch &:she had absolutely no problem with it this couple is 109% reliable, loving, patient & I will be keeping them in the future they're fantastic”
