About: I truly love animals, my favorite being dogs. i am with dogs every day all day.I have lots of experience with raising puppies and caring for dogs of many sizes and temperaments. I have owned snakes, lizards, turtles, fish;etc. so I also have experience with small animal care along with house sitting. Though I am not certified I train dogs for fun. (Basic obedience & tricks) I have even been told by a professional that I am really good at training dogs. I am a certified dog groomer. Some may say that I am a great bather and my grooms are neat. After working at an animal hospital for 2yrs I know a thing or two about pet care & what to do in an emergency so no worries your pets are completely safe in my care. Pet care is my life from the time that i wake up from the time i lay my head. i can do this in my sleep. (: in my home every dog is given the same amount of love. i do not have a fenced in yard however i take leash safety very seriously. we walk daily and i have never had a dog escape. i have tie out long enough to go where they'd like within the safe zone. we also have play time within my spacious finished basement that also has a fully stocked mini grooming salon on the opposite side. as far as drop ins in the clients home whatever care sheet you provide is what will be followed to the T.

Ever since I was 8 I have been pet sitting, bathing and grooming, as well as learning the basics to developing great relationships with animals. About: Update June 1, 2026. I have taken a part-time job and right now I can only accept cat drop in requests . Unfortunately I can’t commit to dog walking because of this part-time job unless it’s on the weekend. I am answering as a pet owner. I am hoping to start working as a pet sitter/dog walker soon. As a kid we had birds and hamsters, then graduated to cats when I was about 14. As a young adult I usually had up to 4 cats at the same time. When my kids were in high school, my husband introduced me to dogs by re-homing a dog named Lucy. We still have her. I had never had dogs before but I am so glad I did not say NO to hubby at the time. We have 2 dogs now but no cats. I do miss having cats and hope to again some day. I left my job of 34 years and would love to do something I have been wanting to do for a long time but never got around to. I am happy to care for cats too! At my house we have invisible fence to keep the dogs from leaving the yard, though our younger dog needs to be on a long lead because he is so excitable and cannot always be trusted to stay in the yard. We also have invisible fence inside to keep both dogs out of the kitchen.

About: I live in an apartment at Kent State and am back and forth from Solon in the summer! My dog at my parents home is very reactive and we have been with many trainers to calm him down. I have much experience with dogs like him and learned from trainers. I have sat for various owners over the last few years and always enjoy keeping animals company! I am a college student! My kids have had goats, rabbits, chickens, turkeys, and ducks, which are all fun to play with, and I would be glad to care for your less-typical pets, if needed. I have even cared for lizards and snakes. I am a teacher, so have loads of time available in the summer. During the school year, I am available most weekends and after 4 on weekdays. I always keep dogs on leash when walking them...you never know when a squirrel or other dog will come by or how they will react.

My experience caring for pets comes from raising my own two rescue dogs. When my family first brought them home, they were nervous, hesitant around people, and not always easy to handle. Like many rescue animals, they needed time, patience, and consistency before they felt comfortable in their new environment. Over the years, I have helped them build confidence through daily routines, training, exercise, and plenty of love and attention. Watching them grow from uncertain rescue dogs into friendly, affectionate companions has taught me a great deal about animal care. It showed me that every pet has a unique personality and that building trust often takes patience and understanding. Today, caring for my dogs is a regular part of my life. I feed them a combination of wet and dry food twice a day, take them on walks throughout the day whenever my schedule allows, and make sure they get the exercise, attention, and affection they need to stay happy and healthy. One of my dogs also experiences seasonal allergies and requires medication during certain times of the year, so I am comfortable following care instructions and administering medications when needed. Because of these experiences, I understand the responsibility that comes with caring for someone else's pet. Whether a pet is energetic and playful, shy and reserved, young or old, I strive to provide a safe, comfortable environment where they feel secure, cared for, and loved while their owners are away.
About: I grew up always having a pet in the house and have about 4 years of experience pet-sitting for neighbors. I helped with potty training and basic obedience training for my active mini labradoodle, Maisy! I’m an OSU student home for the summer and am currently pretty flexible! In June, I work Monday through Wednesday during the day but am otherwise available throughout the week. About: I’ve been walking and watching dogs since I could ride my bike around my hometown by myself. My family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers have always been able to rely on me to provide their pups with long walk or runs, feedings, baths (when needed), and endless cuddles (if consented to by said pup). I work full-time in Chagrin Falls; however, with a high-energy dog of my own, my free time is usually spent with him outside hiking or playing fetch in parks and on trails in the area. At this time I’m not offering boarding services. My apartment only allows for my service dog (PSA) to be with me there, unfortunately. But I’m more than happy to come house sit! As long as my pup Strider is welcome.

About: Admittedly I have limited experience when it comes to taking care of pets. I have had a Great Dane as a kid but that's about it. However, I am more than willing to learn more about pet care. Whether it's walking a dog or taking care of a cat, it doesn't matter to me. I am currently working at a part-time restaurant job, taking a college class so I may transfer to another college one day, and volunteering at the museum of natural history. When I'm near animals, I give them my undivided attention. When I had my Great Dane as a kid, I've managed to feed him and take him on walks (I had to have help with him; he was nearly as big as me at the time.)
