About: Update June 1, 2026. I have taken a part-time job and right now I can only accept cat drop in requests . Unfortunately I can’t commit to dog walking because of this part-time job unless it’s on the weekend. I am answering as a pet owner. I am hoping to start working as a pet sitter/dog walker soon. As a kid we had birds and hamsters, then graduated to cats when I was about 14. As a young adult I usually had up to 4 cats at the same time. When my kids were in high school, my husband introduced me to dogs by re-homing a dog named Lucy. We still have her. I had never had dogs before but I am so glad I did not say NO to hubby at the time. We have 2 dogs now but no cats. I do miss having cats and hope to again some day. I left my job of 34 years and would love to do something I have been wanting to do for a long time but never got around to. I am happy to care for cats too! At my house we have invisible fence to keep the dogs from leaving the yard, though our younger dog needs to be on a long lead because he is so excitable and cannot always be trusted to stay in the yard. We also have invisible fence inside to keep both dogs out of the kitchen.

About: I’ve provided care for animals since I was a young child. Successfully completed a basic dog training course at Alaska SPCA in 2016. My skill ranges from walks to grooming, I’ve got you covered! Currently, I’m working full-time with free availability Sunday through Tuesday! I live in an apartment and put my window I have a little area where the dogs can run free that is fenced in! I can also take the dogs on walks or just let them play inside whatever you’re comfortable with! However they live with you they will live with me 🥰

About: I love animals, I’ve had animals in my home all my life; dogs, cats, snakes, reptiles, fish, you name it. I have always felt close to the world so I connect very well with all animals. I’ve had plenty of experience with dogs and cats as well. I’ve taken dogs I’ve just met on private walks and trained them. I also enjoy grooming, the first thing i do when I welcome a new friend is wash them—I enjoy connecting with them and having them nice and clean in my home! I have a one floor home and when I’m pet sitting they are allowed to roam freely. They are allowed on the furniture I dont mind it. About: Admittedly I have limited experience when it comes to taking care of pets. I have had a Great Dane as a kid but that's about it. However, I am more than willing to learn more about pet care. Whether it's walking a dog or taking care of a cat, it doesn't matter to me. About: I have professional animal care experience of 4+ years working in a dog daycare/boarding facility and in pet stores where I cared for small mammals, reptiles, and fish.
