Susan and Kenny are clearly true dog lovers, and it showed in the commitment and care that my 5-month-old yorkiepoo received while we were out of town.

About: Hi! My name is Ebony, and I’m a college student pursuing a degree in Veterinary Technology. I’ve had cats and dogs my entire life and currently have a dog of my own, so caring for animals isn’t just a job… it’s my passion. With my background, I’m comfortable administering oral medications, recognizing changes in behavior, and responding appropriately in emergency situations. Cleanliness and organization are very important to me, and I always make sure your home and your pet’s space are left tidy. I am more than happy to provide regular updates and photos, so you always know how your fur baby is doing while you’re away. ❤️ While I attend school full-time , my availability outside of classes is fully dedicated to your pet’s care. I currently offer in-home sitting and walking services so your pet can stay in their familiar environment and maintain their daily routine. I understand how important patience, consistency, and compassion are when it comes to building trust with both pets and their owners. I strictly follow all provided feeding schedules, dietary needs, medication instructions, and routines to ensure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and stress-free in their own home. Thank you for considering me as your sitter ❣️

About: Hi! I'm a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats. Since 2008, I've volunteered at a local animal shelter, walking dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I've also provided trusted dog sitting for family and friends over the years, treating every pet like they're part of my own family. I'm passionate about animal welfare and believe every pet deserves patience, kindness, and lots of love. Whether it's a walk, a drop-in visit, or overnight care, I'll make sure your furry family member feels safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. I have a fenced-in yard and two friendly dogs who are very calm to keep your pup company also. My husband works from home and I too am home mostly. It will be very rare when your pup is left alone in our house and if it is the case I am comfortable crating or leaving your pup to have the run of the house if that is what you would prefer. I have a neighborhood filled with sidewalks where many, many dogs walk so the sniffing is a must! I have a fenced-in yard and two friendly dogs who are very calm to keep your pup company also. About: I’ve always had a multitude of pets ranging from birds, to dogs and cats, and crustaceans. I’m the perfect go to for all of your pet needs. Ever since I was 8 I have been pet sitting, bathing and grooming, as well as learning the basics to developing great relationships with animals. This journey is one of the main factors that has led me to going to college for Veterinary studies. Currently I am a student at The Ohio State University with a focus on Pre-Vet! Currently, my hours of availability begin at 6 am and usually end around 6pm for dog waking services. For drop in visits and stay in visits, I have open availability. In my clients home I make sure to never go beyond my parameters and to always care for the pet in the most comfortable and effortless way possible. I am very experienced with dog walking and ensuring that the walks are both productive and fun for both me and your pet. This includes casual jogs, sightseeing (nature) walks, and walks suited for older or handicapped animals. As for feeding, I always make sure to give your pet the desired amount that you have given to me to make sure that no over feeding happens, and treats are only given upon authorization from owners.

Nicole was amazing with Lola! Before Lola’s stay I warned Nicole that she probably won’t eat and doesn’t like to be handled a lot. By the end of the day, Lola trusted her enough to wipe her down and even ate ALL of her food. I was pleasently surprised that Lola trusted her enough after a few hours. Also, Nicole’s 3 dogs are so well behaved and Lola joined the pack in minutes. We now trust Nicole so much so that we feel confident about leaving Lola with her while we go on vacation for 2 weeks!

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a little girl, and have had 3 of my own growing up at my parents house. Some people think I'm crazy, but I look at dogs as humans. I treat and talk to them as if they were human lol. My family recently got a baby poodle 3 years ago, but I recently moved to Chicago from Cleveland 3 months ago and I miss by dog so much. I have babysat my whole life, and have taken care of small puppies all the way to cane corso. Im very loving with dogs and treat them all as if they were my own. Like I said, everything thinks I'm nuts, but I think dogs deserve the same amount of love as humans. I have my own business and work from home and make my own hours. I joined Rover simply because I miss my dog so much at home and have the time during the day and would love to take care of a little one. My apartment building is very modern and spacious. I have a 2 bedroom and am on the first floor with a patio, I would feel more comfortable taking caring of a smaller dog. There is tons grass and walking areas around me as well.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Bedford commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 636 sitters in Bedford, 90% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
