“Stephanie does amazing with my two dogs, including one being a young puppy! She is very kind and communicates often with many pictures. Definitely recommend Stephanie!”

“Susan and her partner Jason are incredible! They took such great care of Nugget today, and I can tell he really enjoyed his time with them. They sent updates during the day, which helped me to worry less as this was the first time I had left Nugget with a sitter. He came home happy and exhausted. I’m so grateful for the care and attention they provided and we will certainly be back!”

“They are such kind people with a beautiful home and great setup for dogs. Our Lulu was so excited to come back and see them again. It was a great stress reliever for us to have a puppy break on Thanksgiving day so that we could cook, get ready and visit family; our puppy is very high energy! We know she's in wonderful care there - much better than the commercial doggie daycare facilities we've seen. Lulu returns home happy and tired from having such a fun day. And we love the photos and updates they send. We're so thankful for Michael and Regina!”

“Swetha and her family took amazing care of Snowy! They treated him like their own and were incredibly patient and attentive. I really appreciated the frequent updates — every few hours they would send multiple photos, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. Snowy looked happy and comfortable the entire time. I would highly recommend Swetha to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter!”

About: I have been a pet owner for about four years now and truly have a passion for taking care of dogs and giving them freedom to have fun and be themselves. I work at night time so usually when I get up in the day, I have the most energy and that’s when I’m totally available for the time and attention for the love of dogs. I have a closed in gated fence, which allows the pets to have access to roam around handedly at Will I have a true passion for taking care of dogs.
“Aaliyah watched our dogs in her home two days in a row for day care and they loved her! She was friendly, flexible, and responsive. It was great to work with her!”

“Alexandria is the best dog-sitter. This is our first time using Rover. She just really took care of our dog. She sent photos and even gave her a toy. We will definitely go to her again”

“I really appreciated Christine taking care of my baby Kobe. He looked so happy his whole stay. I don’t think he wanted to come back home lol. I will definitely be having him come back for more visits in the future. Thank you for taking care of my boy ?.”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life. I grew up with a German Shephard then my family got a small maltise/bishon when I was a teenager. My family currently has a 5 year old German Shephard (Jax) and a 6 year old cat (Scout). I have two teenagers that also share the same love for animals. Jax is very friendly and gets along with other dogs but he is big. I am available for dog walking, check ins or boarding. Please reach out if you have any questions. I will treat your pet like they are my own! I currently work from home Mon-Fri and am available to take short walks throughout the day or go out for potty breaks as needed. I don’t have a fence at this time but we are getting one this summer. I will take your pet out on a leash until then.
About: Hi! I’ve been a dog lover my whole life and have rescued many dogs over the years. I also grew up with dogs during my childhood. The last six we’ve owned have been rescues. I'm looking for part-time work doing some type of care for other's dogs, whether it be caring for them in their own home while the family is on vacation or letting them out during the day while the owner works. I'm available most days for overnight stays (based on availability) and most days for walks and drop-in visits, if they need to be let out or just played with for a while. I now own two small dogs. They are a Cavachon that we got at the age of 8 weeks and a Yorkie mix we adopted when he was 3. The Cavachon’s name is Cooper and in 2025 he turned 4. He was a breeder surrender because he wasn’t “perfect,” meaning he was born without his right front paw. He gets around fine and loves other dogs and people. The second little guy is Boomer, a Yorkie mix who is 4 now. They are both dog and people friendly. I'm hoping to share my love for dogs with others who need help caring for theirs. I’m very allergic to cats so I can’t help with them. Small dogs only. I have experience giving medications and also giving insulin shots, because one of my dogs was diabetic. Thanks and I hope you’ll consider me for your dog’s care. We are retired and I do dog sitting and walking part-time for extra money. Sometimes my husband comes along too. My schedule is pretty open so I can work with you for what’s best for your pups. I’m open to whatever your pets need-walking, playing, letting out to potty, feeding, cuddling or giving medication. Only the best care for your fur babies.
“Alamelu and her family are absolutely wonderful! They took excellent care of my dog, Pepper, for the day. She sent me pictures and updates, took him for walks, and made sure that he was comfortable in their home. Pepper came home very happy and tired out :) This was my first time using Rover and it was a great experience. I truly cannot recommend Alamelu enough! When we are away, I will definitely have Alamelu take care of Pepper.”

“Melanie took absolutely wonderful care of my puppy! I couldn’t have asked for anything more. She clearly has a lot of experiences caring for animals and treated my puppy with the utmost care and respect. She cared for him as if he was her own, and I felt comfortable knowing he was in good hands for the day. She went above and beyond. I really can’t say enough good things, and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for care for their animal. I will definitely book Melanie again!!”

About: I am 30 years old and I live with my husband and 5 year old daughter. We recently lost our 225lb English mastiff and figured pet sitting would help us move on easier. We love meeting new dogs and people and enjoy having them in our home. I work from home full time so I am always home with them as well. I can offer walks many times a day as well as many potty breaks. Feeding times can be multiple times throughout the day as well. I live in a great area for walks and there are many trails just a street over. I look forward to speaking with you! I have had experience with puppies as well as senior dogs and all different breeds from teacup to giant breed! Please contact me with any questions or concerns for your dog I work from home so I can be with your fur babies around the clock! I wake up very early in the morning as well! I have a fenced in yard as well as a park nearby! I can accommodate any diet as well! I am very flexible and can work with whatever you need
“Wow! I am so glad I found Susan!! My dog is diabetic, needs insulin twice a day, follows a strict diet, and needs eye meds. Susan navigates everything perfectly! She’s watched Buddy several times, with stays ranging from a weekend to a week and a half. You can’t go wrong with Susan (and her husband).”

About: I offer a premium pet sitting/walking experience because of my hands on experience in many different dog environments. I have trained service dogs through 4 Paws for Ability, worked in a busy dog daycare, volunteered in shelters, and competed in agility. These experiences help me understand behavior, manage different energy levels, and support dogs with unique needs. I am dependable, organized, and attentive to every detail of your dog’s routine. I also make communication a priority and provide frequent updates, photos, and notes so you always feel connected to your dog while you are away. If you choose to trust me with your dog, you can have complete peace of mind knowing they are in capable and caring hands. I work remotely so I am able to offer drop in and dog walking services weekdays before 8:45 AM, during my lunch break most days, and after 4:30 PM. I also have availability most weekends. For select dogs, I may consider overnight or weekday daycare in my own home on a case-by-case basis, dependent on my own dogs getting along with yours and the behavior of your dog(s) - must be house trained and non-destructive. I would only take dog(s) from ONE client in home at a time (in addition to my own two dogs). Please reach out to discuss this further. The safety and health of your pets is my number one priority. From shifting to indoor activities on days when the temperature is dangerously hot to double checking that the harness/collar is fitted properly before going outside, I do everything in my power to keep your dogs happy and healthy. Additionally, positive reinforcement is the foundation of how I train and interact with animals. I use it with my own dogs and with the service dogs I’ve helped train, and I’m happy to continue that approach with your pets. This means no yelling, “punishing”, or other harsh corrective methods will be used.
Walton Hills dog parents share their Rover experiences
Great experience. We were here from out of town when my husband was hospitalized unexpectedly. We had our dog with us and I wasn't sure what to do. It was way too cold ti leave her in the car. Our doctor recommended Rover. We connected with Taylor and it took all the worry and stress away. Taylor is kind caring and sweet. She went above and beyond to make our situation better. Bella loved Taylor and her family and next time we are in town we will connect with her again. Happy I found out about Rover.
