About: I've been a caregiver for all types if animals my entire life. Helping my aunt on her farm, to having personal furry companions at home to care for. As an adult I now have my own dog that get lots of love and training. I often pet sit for family and friends as they know they can have total trust in me to not only take their pets to the bathroom and feed them, but also to walk, play, train, and love them. I am available immediately! Looking forward to getting to know you and your pets needs. Very flexible open schedule! Not the best early bird in the winter, but summer is a different story and I would be willing to get up the same time as the sun (: I have a yard with long runners attached to my porch so my dog has the ability to run and play freely without worry of running too far off. I never leave the dogs unattended. I also provide special needs for the home as well as pets, ( light cleaning) always leaving your home the way I found it OR BETTER.
“Brittany took care of our aging dog (and itinerant cat) for a week while staying a our house in November, 2021. She was wonderful - very responsible and conscientious. Sent daily updates, pix and was really nice to work with. House looked great when we got home. We would be happy to have her sit anytime!”

About: I am a huge animal lover; I’ve had pets my whole life and know how much a routine matters to them, especially during a stressful time apart from their family. I’ve cared for a diabetic dog, giving insulin shots three times a day for years, and also babysat a diabetic cat — so I’m comfortable with medication schedules and special-needs care. I’m an active person who treats every fur baby like they are my best friend because that’s what they deserve! I have a flexible schedule and work from home Mondays and Fridays, so those days are perfect for midday walks or potty breaks — I can easily fit your pup into my schedule without rushing. On weekends, I’m open to house sitting or home visits, giving your pet consistent, attentive care while you’re away. I don’t board pets at my own home, so all care happens at your house, keeping your pet in their familiar, comfortable environment. During home visits or house sits, I follow your routines closely for feeding, walks, and medication, and I’m experienced with special and elder pet needs. I treat your home and pet with the same care and respect I’d want for my own.
“Lisa was great with the 3 dogs. Came to the house several times to get to know the dogs and their routine. She is prompt and well organized. Very personable and happy lady. I like her very much and will definitely ask for her services again.”

“Ebony was so kind and helpful throughout my dog baby's visit. She sent me tons of photos and updates while she had my baby. Baby(my dog) was well taken care of threwout her stay with Ebony. I'm so grateful for her, as she took my booking last minute since I had an unexpected family emergency come up. I will definitely use Ebony again in the future seeing as how amazingly she took care of what I consider a family member to me.”

About: growing up with a family dog, i’ve always looked forward to our long walks. since i've moved to care for my grandma & i can’t have a pet at my current home, i’m looking to be the dedicated adventure buddy your pup deserves! i’m an avid walker who cleans up after your pet & loves exploring local parks and trails, and i’m just as comfortable handling a brisk, high-energy trek as i am a slow, 'sniff-heavy' stroll for seniors or four legged friends who love getting distracted! HOT WEATHER: for dog-friendly clients, i am able to provide outings to low stress trips to uncrowded, pet-friendly stores/facilities for stimulation and enrichment (including a potty break outside before and after, of course!) i am also happy to walk earlier/later in the day to avoid the heat as well! i also enjoy keeping pets company in home, whether its playing with toys, using lick mats, or just spending some time together! because i work evening and overnight shifts, i have guaranteed availability every morning and midday for your dog’s routine. whether you need a recurring daily walker or a same-day visit because you’re running late, i'm local and ready to jump in! my current job is closing in a few months, so i’ll be even more available for your schedule soon :) in public, i use a short-leash grip, stay hyper-aware of our surroundings without distractions like phones/technology of any kind (aside from photos, of course!), and avoid unknown dogs to keep your pup protected. i pride myself on being a trustworthy, punctual communicator, providing frequent photo updates so you’re always in the loop. i am very confident in my ability to kennel/leash pets & i consider myself well-versed in administering medication. i am keen when reading animal stress signals, ensuring your pet feels safe and understood under my care! as of early may, i am taking dog training certification courses to better my understanding and confidence in dog training :)

About: I’ve had a dog since I was 10, his name is Loki. It was up until I was 15 that I started taking care of him. I walked him, fed him, and even taught him tricks like sit, stay, paw, and spin. I also have a cat named Sofie that I’ve had since I was in pre school, I regularly change her litter box. I also have a guinea pig that I take care of and had since last winter. But I absolutely love animals, always wanted to get into an animal related career eventually. I am currently working a part time job at the Solon Police Department to clean there. I get to choose my hours, so it’s pretty flexible. I also have a few classes I will begin taking in the fall at Tri-C for Vet Tech. My priority is making sure their needs come first, feeding them, making sure they have fresh water, letting them out, clean potty space, walking them, giving them good play time, belly rubs of course! Not too many cats enjoy belly rubs, so neck pets will be provided instead!!✨💖
“Dasha was great! She watched our 14 year old dog in our home for a week while we were on vacation. She gave us lots of updates and spent plenty of time with him. We had no worries when we were gone. Could not recommend more! Will absolutely request her for dog sitting again.”

About: I am a current student at the Ohio State university as an animal science and vet technician student. I have always had a passion for taking care of animals and ensure to extend the same care that I have for the animals I treat with your pets! I have worked with small companion animals numerous times as well as large animals so my skills are varied to work with changing circumstances! I also have experience with working with older dogs as I had an older dog for a long time. I am college student attending summer classes so I do have a time confinement in the mornings of some weekdays but I am free for weekends, afternoons, and evenings! A flexible schedule that can work for everyone and ensure comfort for your pet! I have a small unfenced front and backyard in a small, quiet neighborhood. I do not have any other animals in my home so I will ensure the comfortability and safety of your dog(s). I can easily crate your dog if needed as well.
About: I've been dog sitting for friends and family for several years and have grown very comfortable caring for dogs of all shapes, sizes, ages, and personalities. Spending time with dogs is something I genuinely enjoy, and I always make it a priority to ensure they feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. Whether it's going for walks, playing outside, providing companionship, sticking to a feeding schedule, or simply giving extra attention and affection, I'm happy to adapt to each pet's unique needs. As an active college athlete, I have plenty of energy for long walks and playtime, but I'm also patient and attentive with dogs who prefer a calmer environment. My goal is always to provide reliable care and give pet owners peace of mind knowing their pets are in good hands. Pet care is something I take seriously, and I have a schedule that allows me to provide plenty of attention and flexibility. I work part-time as a lifeguard, which gives me the ability to take breaks throughout the day to check on pets, take dogs for walks, provide potty breaks, feed pets, or attend to any other needs they may have. In addition, I am generally available during mornings, evenings, and overnight hours, allowing me to spend quality time with pets and make sure they receive the attention, exercise, and affection they deserve. Whether your pet needs an active companion, a consistent routine, or simply someone to keep them company, I have the time and dedication to provide reliable, attentive care. My experience caring for pets comes from raising my own two rescue dogs. When my family first brought them home, they were nervous, hesitant around people, and not always easy to handle. Like many rescue animals, they needed time, patience, and consistency before they felt comfortable in their new environment. Over the years, I have helped them build confidence through daily routines, training, exercise, and plenty of love and attention. Watching them grow from uncertain rescue dogs into friendly, affectionate companions has taught me a great deal about animal care. It showed me that every pet has a unique personality and that building trust often takes patience and understanding. Today, caring for my dogs is a regular part of my life. I feed them a combination of wet and dry food twice a day, take them on walks throughout the day whenever my schedule allows, and make sure they get the exercise, attention, and affection they need to stay happy and healthy. One of my dogs also experiences seasonal allergies and requires medication during certain times of the year, so I am comfortable following care instructions and administering medications when needed. Because of these experiences, I understand the responsibility that comes with caring for someone else's pet. Whether a pet is energetic and playful, shy and reserved, young or old, I strive to provide a safe, comfortable environment where they feel secure, cared for, and loved while their owners are away.
“Shermont'e was very respectable and patient with our dogs, (our dogs can be shy meeting new people). He constantly gave us updates on how they were doing, and that our most shy dog warmed up to him by the end of his stay! 10/10 would recommend!!”

“Are dogs are not bad dogs but there are 3 of them and they are all rescues and they have their own quirks. They love Lori and we cannot ask for anything more. She takes care of them and keeps us updated and they are happy when we get back. Lori is great!”

“Sami was awesome and so sweet. I will give her 5 stars in all categories including communication, efficiency, attitude and attentiveness. We will definitely be using her for future needs. Nothing short of amazing!!!”

About: I have three cats of my own that I take care of. My family has always had a dog or cat in the home, so have been taking care of dogs and cats since I was a child. I am currently working full time from home, so I am flexible when it comes to my daily and weekly routine. We can find a schedule that works for us both! I currently have three cats that.. run our household 😅 they are well tended to and have many toys. Under my care, I will be able to keep your pet happy, healthy and safe

About: I’ve always grown up around animals, from being raised on a farm surrounded by cows to caring for pets of my own. I’m currently the proud owner of two sweet Shih Tzu mixes, Memo and Santi, along with a dwarf bunny named Melody. I also have experience caring for reptiles and amphibians, and I’m completely comfortable handling feeding routines , even the bugs! I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I’ll always care for your animals with the same love, attention, and patience that I give my own. Here’s a cleaned-up, more professional version of your routine bio: I am a recent college graduate currently with a flexible schedule while I transition into my career as an industrial designer. During my time as a full-time student, I developed strong time management and responsibility skills, and I am now using this period to focus on gaining experience and building my professional path. Because I am currently in the job search process, I have open availability and am able to accommodate a variety of scheduling needs, including weekdays and weekends. For my two little dogs, Santi and Memo, they spend a lot of time cuddling with me. Memo is very curious and will literally follow me everywhere I go, while Santi loves coming along with me for car rides. They both have a lot of fun playing outside, and during potty breaks they like to wander and play around the yard. I will admit my dogs are pretty spoiled ,Santi especially loves when I buy her cute dresses and she gets so excited for a good game of dress-up. My little bunny, Melody, is on what I like to call a “rainbow diet,” meaning she gets a variety of nutritious vegetables. She also really enjoys car rides and loves when I give her a small banana treat. I keep a very consistent and timely routine when it comes to her cage maintenance to make sure she stays clean, comfortable, and happy.

I also offer personalized behavioral training a recommendations. I have particular experience with behavioral issues like separation anxiety and difficulties walking on a leash and getting overwhelmed with various stimuli. Previously, I fostered large dogs with behavioral issues for the SPCA for 5 years. I have experience with dogs that are reactive, anxiety ridden and once with medical issues. I fostered the dogs until the issues are either managed or resolved and they are ready for adoption. I have experience primarily with large dogs. I am used to long walks and hikes with dogs. I primarily keeps dogs on leash but in the right circumstances I will let them off leash. However, I am very picky. I am open to walking l, check-ins and boarding. I’m in class a few times a month and working 1-2 days a week so I have times of availability to care for your pup. Thank you for considering me, Celine I’m a graduate student with minimal in class time so I have plenty of time to play and cuddle your pup. I love long walks and play time. I enjoy finding engaging activities that keep them mentally stimulated. I would like to get a sense of your pup and aspects of their care that are most important to you. This could be frequency of walking, caring for behavioral issues or simply giving them lots of cuddles. I can be in your hole where your pup is most comfortable or bring them to mine.

Asis watched our dog and home for us for 5 days and she did a great job. She took excellent care of our dog and she texted me numerous photos every day to reassure us that things were going well. Additionally, Asis took care of watering all of my outdoor flowers and she fed the birds/critters who visit my yard daily. Asis is very responsible and she takes her pet sitting commitment seriously.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Walton Hills walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Walton Hills maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Walton Hills choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
