I’m so glad my pup stayed with Wendy! Wendy texted lots of photos of Daisy and I always felt assured she was safe and happy. There was a big yard for the dogs to play in and I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing Daisy was in such responsible hands.

Once again, Tara and Peter were super helpful accommodating Duke despite two other furry guests already scheduled for boarding. We received daily photos and couple of video updates. Duke loves the place since it is a fenced backyard where he leisurely strolls and plays. The host dog, Willow, is also very welcoming. This was our third time and we will definitely be back soon.

Christine is by far the best person you can trust with your furrchild. My husband and I went on our first vacation and were super nervous to leave our 8 month old diabetic puppy anywhere since most boarding facilities are not 24 hour operated. I knew I would stress the entire time if our puppy would be alright. There was a chance her sugar would drop and there would be no staff at the facility. I found Christine and knew instantly she was the perfect fit! Right off the bat she was on the floor loving on our pup who instantly returned the love too. She loved meeting new puppy friends and had Christine's sweet kids to love her too! Christine was able to check my pups sugar and give her insulin also and was super comfortable with learning which helped my anxiety a ton also! While we were away we got adorable pictures and updates that helped our vacation go smooth! I can't thank you enough Christine and family!!!!

The only issue with boarding my girls with Lynn, is that my dogs seem to suffer from postpartum depression for a couple days following their stay. You cannot find a better, more caring, surrogate dog parent for your 4 legged kids. Lots of playtime with Summer (Lynn’s girl), homemade treats, toys galore, cuddles and snuggles at will,… I could on and on… (BTW, unlike Amazon’s reviews, you can take this one to the bank!). A&J send their love to you, Lynn, and keep asking me when sre leaving town again?🙄)

Best dog sitter in the Cleveland area. The dogs are in a great environment with lots of love and lots of dogs to play with. I left the dogs for over a week and never worried about them once because I received frequent updates and photos. I will book here for all future boarding.

I left my dog Max with Leonard for a week while I was out of the country, and I couldn’t have asked for better care. Leonard did an amazing job he kept me updated with regular photos and messages, and Max was clearly happy, comfortable, and well cared for. When I picked him up, he looked great and was in excellent spirit. I really appreciate the attention and care Leonard gave him, and I’ll definitely be using him for all my future boarding needs. Highly recommend!

Pamela was great, she took my dog Pinky last minute and let her stay in her bed with her so she wouldn't have to interact with other dogs. On the last day that Pinky was with her, she had diarrhea all over her bedroom and all Pamela cared about was making sure Pinky was okay. Would definitely recommend her!

So happy I found Susan! Gus has so much fun staying with her and playing with Frank and the other pups that come in and out. I love the daily pictures and videos. This last trip, I had a flight cancellation and had to extend his stay, and Susan was so reassuring and helpful as I dealt with the stress of finding new flights and hotels.

About: As a lifelong animal lover, I understand that pets are family, and I strive to provide the same level of care, attention, and patience that I would want for my own. My background in healthcare has taught me how to be responsible, detail-oriented, and attentive to the unique needs of every individual, skills that translate naturally to pet care. I am comfortable caring for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies who need patience and consistency to senior dogs who may require a gentler pace and extra attention. Whether it's daily walks, drop-in visits, feeding, administering oral medications, reinforcing basic training, or simply providing companionship, I prioritize your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness. I am currently a Master's student in Medical Physiology at Case Western Reserve University, which has helped me develop strong time-management, responsibility, and organizational skills. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine because I enjoy staying active and spending time with animals as a balance to my studies. Despite a busy academic schedule, I am very intentional about managing my time and maintaining commitments. Whether it's morning walks, midday drop-in visits, evening care, or weekend sitting, I enjoy incorporating pet care into my routine because it allows me to spend time outdoors and connect with animals while helping pet owners have peace of mind. Caring for pets is something I genuinely enjoy, and I treat every pet with patience, attentiveness, and compassion. As someone pursuing a career in healthcare, I value reliability, clear communication, and attention to detail, and I bring those same qualities to caring for your furry family members. I am committed to ensuring pets feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away. When caring for pets in a client's home, I prioritize maintaining their normal routine to help them feel comfortable and secure while their owner is away. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications, and any specific preferences or needs. I make sure pets receive plenty of attention, affection, exercise, and mental stimulation while also keeping their environment clean and safe. If providing care in my own home, I would ensure pets have a safe, clean, and comfortable environment with plenty of supervision, exercise, fresh water, and opportunities for play and rest. My goal is always to make pets feel as relaxed and loved as possible, whether they are in their own home or mine.

FAQs for Boarding - Walton Hills

Frequently asked questions about Rover

There are 889 sitters on Rover for Pet Boarding in Walton Hills. About 94% of Walton Hills sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you’re planning ahead for holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day coverage for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
