I have experience with animals with health issues (i.e diabetic cat) and a dog who has separation anxiety. I also provide care for a senior dog who is 16 years old. I have worked and lived with younger animals (dogs and cats). I work part-time so I would like something that’s more flexible. I’m mostly available on afternoons and evenings but I can also do mornings if discussed. I currently have two animals, a cat and a dog. My dog gets walks as long as weather permits and he gets fed twice a day. He also has plenty of toys and puzzles to stimulate his mind. My cat gets play time throughout the day and is fed every 6-8 hours. I also groom my dog, he gets washed, his teeth brushed and his ears cleaned. My cat is still learning the process of grooming but we are currently trying to get her used to her teeth being brushed.

Angel was wonderful with her. She took everything in stride. Angel kept us posted regularly with photos, descriptions and texts. About: I’m a champion for human & pets alike. Familial animals have been apart of my life since I was a young child and the subsequent years into my adulthood. I’ve assisted in the basic obedience training of 10+ dogs both in youth & elder-hood; temporarily lived with anxious pups whilst their parents traveled out of state; & I’ve formed genuine bonds with clients’ pets that I’ve routinely walked and tended to for years now. I’ve departed from traditional 9 to 5 employment to commit myself full-time towards the enriching of relations between all living beings, in particular, one Pet/Parent client at a time! Pet caregiving, dog handling & house sitting are my full-time job! Which fortunately means I’ve got quite a fluid weekly schedule capable of integrating a broad range of client scenarios. Mondays & Tuesdays between 9am and 9pm are my most flexible hours — services needed Wednesday thru Friday can be readily accommodated during our initial consultation. For clients interested in Boarding services - my home is a decently sized, fully furnished apartment with climate control functionality. During their stay with me your pets are welcome to languor however they normally would at home. I strive to make the stay as comfortable as possible for your pets whilst honoring whatever caregiving conditions/training you may request. If house-sitting your home is preferred, you can feel confident that your residence & loved-ones will be tended to with exemplary care & that upon your return home, it will be in the exact same or better condition than when you’d left it!

I received daily updates and loved seeing through photos the bond Poppy and her lab, Peaches, developed. In fact, tonight a yellow lab appeared on the TV in an ad and Poppy went wild barking. I think she already misses her new friend and it has at even been 24 hours. I will most certainly use Colleen for future boarding.”
