“Ame was amazing! Not only did I love her but so did my animals! She paid attention to any and all details, sent lots of updates and pictures, and was great with communication. I felt super comfortable leaving my furbabies in her care and allowing her in our home. 11/10 could not recommend enough!!’”

“What an absolute privilege it was to have Melissa care for my baby while I was out of town. It was my first time in 13 years having someone other than family care for her and I couldn't have found a better person to soothe my anxiety. She went above and beyond anticipating my cat's needs and I am so grateful!!!”

“Carly took care of our two cats for 6 weeks and did an amazing job. She and her husband not only cared for and spent time with our girls, they were so helpful when the temps outside were so bitter and opened cabinets and dripped the faucets because I was so worried about frozen pipes while we were gone. We are very grateful to Carly and would highly recommend and will definitely reserve with her again. Our 16 and 9 yr old kitties are happy and healthy.”

“Ben did a stand-out job when it came to drop-in visits for our dog while we were out of town. He reviewed our request with such detail that he was able to spot a mistake I made with the booking & ultimately ensure that our dog got the best care under his watch. He offered to meet our pup before we left town & they hit it off right away! The picture updates Ben sent with each drop-in was proof that our dog was being treated well & was happy to see Ben each time he stopped by. We are so appreciative of Ben & the care he provided our dog while we were out of town.”

About: I have a sweet beagle that was rescued 7 years ago. I am fully responsible for his care, including feeding, walking, bathing, nail trimming, etc. I always check him for ticks after visiting a park and know how to safely remove them. I enjoy going for long walks, especially in summer, so would be glad to give your dog exercise. My kids have had goats, rabbits, chickens, turkeys, and ducks, which are all fun to play with, and I would be glad to care for your less-typical pets, if needed. I have even cared for lizards and snakes. I am a teacher, so have loads of time available in the summer. During the school year, I am available most weekends and after 4 on weekdays. I always keep dogs on leash when walking them...you never know when a squirrel or other dog will come by or how they will react.

About: Hi! I’m Megan, a lifelong animal lover with experience that goes way beyond your average pet sitter. About: My love for animals started since I was very little - my family always had several animals at a time while growing up in our household, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, even pigs, cows and goats! About 15 years ago, my parents entrusted in me as a high schooler to raise my own puppy and I was in 4H with her. I have learned life long training for the best care, proper walking skills and continued genuine love for these animals. I have experience bottle feeding 2 week old puppies, walking several different breeds and currently caring for an almost 12 year black lab and 9 year old beagle babies too! I work from home with a pretty flexible schedule and can work around meetings/deadlines easily. Also have availability on the weekends for stop in visits! I live in Hudson outside of town, so can easily get to highways/routes to quickly get to your residence to ensure timely drop in visits / walks.
“Barb took care of our 4 cats daily for about two weeks. She immediately bonded with them during our pre-trip meet and greet! One of them even brought her a mouse to play fetch! She sent daily kitty reports, pictures, and feedback. We had a great experience with Barb and highly recommend her!”

About: While growing up, I fed, watered, played with, and walked our family friends. I even picked up poop! As an adult, I've done it all, from cleaning major messes to administering meds. I love canines and felines of all varieties, from the smallest to the largest! I am available to care for your pet(s) throughout the business day. Although I am also doing some volunteer work, I keep a regular schedule. I will care for your pets according to your express instructions. They will be treated as my own with as much love and concern as I can provide.

Aurora cat parents share their Rover experiences
This was our first time using a pet sitter that wasn't our son. I chose Carol because of her experience with senior pets. Our cats are 17 and 7. Our senior cat, Lucy greeted Carol every day that we were away. I know she was happy that Carol was there to give her food and some attention. Carol, left them plenty of food and fresh water. She even swept up the cat litter on the floor, so I wouldn't have to worry about it when I arrived home. I would use Carol's services again if I ever needed a pet sitter.
