This was my very first time using Rover, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience, from the moment I saw Emily’s profile, I felt a strong connection and decided to follow my intuition, and I’m so glad I did. She is absolutely amazing, truly the best! I had considered three different sitters, but something about Emily stood out. I’ve left my Chihuahua/Greyhound mix with two people I personally know before (about seven times in total), but never with someone new from an app, the day before, I was extremely anxious and worried about how it would go, but from the very beginning, Emily gave me such peace of mind, she communicated with me the entire time, sent pictures and videos, and always updated me on how things were going, that constant communication gave me the security I needed to focus on my work and truly relax. What really surprised me was my dog’s reaction, he has extreme separation anxiety, and I was shocked to see how quickly he opened up with Emily, in the photos and videos she sent, I could see how comfortable he was, something I never expected on a first meeting. When I picked him up, I was amazed, as she opened the door, he was so focused on her that he didn’t even notice me right away, that showed me how safe and bonded he felt in her presence. I’m still in awe every time I look back at those photos and videos. Emily made the whole experience smooth, harmonious, and perfect, I’ve already told several people about her, and I will recommend her to anyone who ever asks me about Rover. I’ll be needing a sitter again in September and October, and I’ll definitely be reaching out to Emily first, hoping she has availability, because I can’t imagine leaving my dog with anyone else now. Emily truly went above and beyond, She’s incredible, and I’m beyond grateful for the peace of mind and the wonderful care she provided. Highly, highly recommended!

You’ve gone out of your way to make sure Chips is comfortable on her first day with you despite her barking so much at the beginning (she has a bit of separation anxiety). Martin and Robert are wonderful! Due to a family emergency, I found myself in San Francisco and had to work from home, so my dog needed doggie day care at the last minute. I am so lucky that they were available for most of the days I was in SF. Everything about them was great, and the icing on the cake was parking was super-easy, which in San Francisco is rare. The second day, Lizzie pulled me across the street toward their house and went running up the stairs. She was so excited so see them everyday. They are the best, and I hope Lizzie gets to go back there on a future trip to the city. Most highly recommended!
Mayah is an outstanding dog sitter who provided exceptional care for my rescue pup. She maintained a thoughtful schedule with regular walks throughout the day and kept me updated with plenty of photos, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. What impressed me most was how quickly she connected with my dog - I could see from her updates that my pup felt comfortable and happy in her care. Marina loves dogs and takes great care of Alfie, my Old English Sheepdog. She’ll post several photos of walks around Potrero Hill and her home through out the day and is always responsive. He is always around a good set of dogs and he looks happy and tired when I pick him up.
Charles accommodated Simba at the very last minute when we were visiting for the week. He was able to take care of Simba for a few hours while we went to grab dinner at a not so pet friendly establishment. Charles’ communication was prompt and very professional. Simba was happy to see him and ready to go inside with Charles as soon as they met which was very comforting for me.
Carrie was amazing and super loving to my 5 month old pup Sovereign! This was the first time I left him in someone else’s care and she made me feel super at ease. She was super responsive, sent updates, took lots of photos and went over the whole day with me. Everything I could ask for as a first time puppy mom! I could tell my pup was in good hands. I’m happy I found her!
