About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all different sizes and personalities throughout my life, especially the last 6 years. Back home I have three dogs, including 2 Labrador retrievers and a chihuahua mix rescue. I used to dog sit for my neighbors every few months, typically for a week at a time. Now that I am at college at UA, I miss constantly being around dogs and I hope to fill that missing piece through Rover! I am great about exercising, feeding on time, and potty breaks. If you have any more questions feel free to ask! I’m currently working part-time, but will have plenty of time to check in on your pups :) My schedule is usually completely free during the day up until 4pm. I also get breaks at work and can stop in to let your furbaby out! I currently live in a spacious apartment with two of my best friends that also love dogs. We have a fenced-in dog park right next to our unit! It takes less than a minute walk from my door to the park.
About: I have a dog at home, Grissom, who is 5 years old. I have had him and trained him from a puppy. I also have years of experience with larger dogs as well. I work Monday - Friday 7:15-4:15. I would be available early mornings before that or evenings nights after. During the weekends I have flexible availability. I’m a dog parent with years of loving experience. I am a teacher by day, with time in the afternoons and evenings to spend loving on my dog and others.
“Leah was great, as usual! She took good care of the cats and even brought in a shipment for us and left the faucets dripping so the pipes wouldn't freeze. It's reassuring to have that extra peace of mind while out of town. Thanks!!”

About: I was raised with dogs all my life - big and small!! My parents have two adorable but crazy golden doodles named Harry and Penny! I grew up with two smaller dogs as well, a cockapoo and a multipoo (Charlie and Lola). I fostered a lovable pitty mix last spring semester of 2025 named Rambo. I love dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes and ages! I am a graduate student at the University of Alabama! I will be in Tuscaloosa full time, year round. I am in a clinical program as a marriage and family therapist in training, so my schedule can sometimes be scattered. I have a full client caseload, but I have daily availability just depending on the week. I always have a few hours open sprinkled throughout each day! As the summer progresses into June, I will have much more early and mid morning availability as well. I care for pets in the home by providing lots of cuddles and love!! I want to make sure each animal feels safe to trust me and I meet them at their level of comfort. Also depending on their activity levels and lifestyle, I want to be sure to give them the proper level of stimulation needed.
“I rebooked with Lauren again due to my previous experience with her and she was great yet again! She was very attentive and loving to my kitties while I was gone for a while! She always made sure they had fresh litter, water, and fed on the dot of every check in! She applied medicine and cleaned up after my cats whether it was hairballs or them just making a mess! Thank you Lauren for making my kitties feel safe and comfortable and letting me go on a stress free vacation! Looking forward to booking with you again! :)”

“Picked up my check-in request on short notice and met up the next day to go over everything and get the key. Was communicative and made sure my 9 month old cat got through the few days I was gone. Stinky Pete approved”

About: Hello it’s so nice to meet you and your fur babies! My name is Taylor and I moved to the Orlando area last year so I’m still learning my way around. I live with my husband and our two huskies, Sarge & Elsa- both rescues! I am 26 years old and this is currently my full-time job as I wait to get back into school to get my masters! I became a sitter on Rover back in our hometown in 2018. I have met so many dogs and cats and also their humans and it’s truly been so rewarding. I am a animal lover. I give my complete gratitude to my dog Kimba, who passed away in June 2020, for being the reason I am so passionate about dogs. Granted even when I was little I hung out with my neighbors golden retriever every single day after school for probably 3 years- I swore that dog was my best friend lol. Kimba and I had such a special bond and the love I had for her and she had for me really meant the world to me. It opened my eyes to how absolutely priceless and amazing it is to be loved by a dog. To me, they are part of the family. I can assure you that while your babies are my care, they will be treated as just that- a part of the family! I will love on them, care for them and make it my top priority to make them feel happy & relaxed while you’re away! I am currently booking for: 1) WALKS 2) DROP-INS 3) HOUSE SITTING Walks & drop-ins work best for me right now. We just rescued Elsa, a 3 year old husky, and we are dealing with some separation anxiety and house training issues and so we are patiently and efficiently handling those which means I can’t be away from the house ALL day. For drop-ins & walks I will come by your house however many times a day you need me to- 30-60 minutes at a time and feed them, play with them, walk them, whatever you’d need me to do! I will do this up to 3x a day. ** Due to gas prices being higher, if your location is 20 or minutes away, I will only do 60 minute walks/drop-ins. This makes the travel and time more manageable. (Traffic jams/accidents/rush hour are not factors in this. I understand those things can not be predicted). This is based solely on GPS and what the drive time is in general. I am sorry if this is an inconvenience for anybody, but with so many clients booking, the travel adds up time and money for gas on my end! As for HOUSE SITTING- I have two versions: 1) Lengthy visits throughout the day that require me to be there for several hours at a time OR more than 4 hours of drop-ins/walks. I do not stay the night, but spend a lot of time during the day starting at whatever time in the morning you’d need me to be there by! This option works out great for me since as stated above, I have a dog that requires special training and being gone all night can sometimes be tricky depending on what my husbands work schedule looks like for that scheduled time! & 2) house sitting but I stay the night. This means I will check-in and walk your dog periodically throughout the day & stay in your home at night with your pets! However, I do want to also mention here, I will have to spend some time away during the day to take care of my own dogs, but can be back and forth for several hours at each place- yours & mine! We can work out the best times and a schedule for me to leave to work around your dogs normal routine, no problem at all! REPEAT CLIENTS OR CLIENTS THAT HAVE USED ME IN THE PAST- read through some of the above information as some things have changed (like time I can spend in your home with house sitting!) if you’ve used me in the past, reach out to me before booking- and I will adjust and work with you- BECAUSE IN THE END IT IS BECAUSE OF YOU THAT MY ROVER BUSINESS HAS SEEN GROWTH AND SUCCESS! and I am so grateful! I am always looking for long-term clients! It helps both parties - you & me, by having a schedule and knowing what days you’ll need care whether that be daily because you work long hours and need someone to let your puppy out during the day or for someone who travels a lot for work or play and knowing you have someone reliable to always contact to watch your fur baby! If you chooose to be a long-term client, I do recommend trying to book me out 4-3 weeks out from when you’ll need me, so I can be sure to be available for you! I try to give my repeat clients and long-term clients, first come first serve! PUPPY RATES: I charge a puppy rate for any dog under the age of 1 year - that’s how Rover distinguishes a puppy. I charge a higher rate for pups considering they are usually much more work! HOWEVER, exceptions can be made. Talk with me and we will see. Some pups at 6 months old are already so well trained and house broken, while others may still be figuring it out- each dog is different so I will definitely work with you on this! Rover is currently my only job, so that means I have ALL the time in the world to love on and spoil your pups :) I take care of pets by doing exactly what the owners need from me. From daily walks, to sticking to a routine, keeping an eye on them while they are playing. I’m very attentive.
“Rebecca was attentive and patient with my two special needs dogs. She went above and beyond during her visits and sent regular updates and photos while I was away. Definitely reccommend. Thank you, Rebecca!”

“Megan is very accommodating and my dog seems to love her. She remembers all the special instructions for my dog as well and gives great information about her visits.”

About: Hi! I’m Raney Corcoran! I am from North East Texas and a student at the University of Alabama! I have a soft spot for furry friends as I personally have 4 of my own back home and a cat! Each dog ranges in different breeds and sizes so I have no limits! I understand that sometimes, as much as you love your furry friends, it’s hard to make time for both you and them. As someone with a mom that runs her own business, some days you just can’t do it all, and thats okay! This is where I can help! Walks, cuddle, fetch, you name it! I’d be happy to help! My class schedule is pretty flexible, which means I’m available for walks, drop ins, house sitting, and overnight stays! I plan to use my breaks between classes and weekends to spend time with furry friends! I treat every pet and home like my own with care, respect, and attention to detail. I follow routines, prioritize safety, and make sure your furry ones get lots of love while you’re away. You’ll always get updates for peace of mind!
“Brie was excellent with Harley! She kept everything clean, made sure Harley used the bathroom, and played and got Harley’s energy out. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone who needs a dog sitter! Can’t wait to book with her again!”

“She was great! The animals are fed and happy. I have a cat as well as some less conventional pets, and all were well taken care of. Glad to find someone experienced with reptiles!”

About: I’ve grown up having two dogs in my house at a time since I was born until I left for college. Since being in college, I’ve been fostering dogs to give them a happy, comfortable, and safe few days out of the shelter! I have always had a love for dogs whether they are my own or one passing by me on the street. I’ve pet sit for many acquaintances and family and would love to take care of your fur baby as well! I’m a college student with a very flexible schedule, and I’m never away from my apartment for more than 1–2 hours at a time. I also foster dogs often, so I’m used to providing consistent attention, care, and love. I can easily be available throughout the day for walks, cuddles, and any extra care your pet needs! I live in an apartment with a floor-level balcony, so there’s no fall risk but plenty of space for some fresh air and outdoor lounging! While I don’t have a yard, I make up for it with frequent walks and lots of attention. In my home, I make sure pets feel comfortable and safe, keeping their routines as close as possible to what they’re used to. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their instructions closely, keep things tidy, and make sure each pet gets plenty of care, playtime, and cuddles!
Tuscaloosa dog parents share their Rover experiences
Isabella is hands down the best pet sitter I’ve had the privilege of hiring. She was very flexible with my last minute needs, her communication is top tier, and If there was ever a problem (my fault) she was good at letting me know. My puppy is a big fan of her per the daily photos I received. She has won me over as a repeat client and I look forward to taking another trip without the stress of worrying about my puppy’s needs. Thank you again, Isabella! (:

Taylor was fabulous with my 2 pups. They can be slow to warm up and one can be reactive at times. They both ended up loving her! I love that we did a meet and greet beforehand. She was great with updates and sending pics of my fur babies. I would highly recommend and if I need a sitter in the future, I will definitely use her again.

Mary Paige was great. We had some issues in the beginning because another person ghosted me so I was not able to introduce Millie to Mary Paige in person. Millie was a bit spooked because she did not know Mary Paige beforehand, but Mary Paige did an amazing job and I was able to finish my trip without worrying one bit. I would definitely use Mary Paige again!

Anna was very sweet and patient with our three animals. One dog was a bit hesitant the first day but Anna was incredibly patient and got the dog to love her. She stayed to play with the dogs even if it went over the 30 mins that we paid for. The pictures she sent were adorable and we will definitely use her for our next trip.

Catherine was exceptional with our doggos! We booked her on very short notice, and she was very responsive, fed and walked them (even our little senior), and sent wonderful pictures and video. They seemed super comfortable with her, and we didn’t have to worry at all on our short trip. We would absolutely book her again!
