Safety, trust & environment
I have a full fenced in yard, so caring for dogs isn't an issue. I can crate a pet if requested, and have multiple crates available at my home if one is needed so owners don't need to carry them. We know they're heavy!

Information Jennifer & Irvin W. would like to know about your pet
It's very important that I know of any behavior triggers, medical issues, special notes, or activity requests ahead of time. We will not accept aggressive dogs or dogs that are reactive to other animals. I'll often bring my own treats for your pet, so if they have dietary or allergy restrictions, please let me know prior to my visit or meet & greet. I'm happy to provide overnight care and walks for any dogs I pet sit for. On walks with large breeds that may pull me over, Irvin will be with me at no extra cost. Safety for your fur baby is always first!
A typical day
Depending on the breed, I entertain the animal I sit for differently. For Boardings and drop ins, after basic pet care is done, and if the pet doesn't need my attention at the moment, I'm known to clean randomly to help owners where I can (dishes are my main go to). For dogs: Slower breeds or older dogs will just be a walk and simple command practice with possible interactive toys. More high energy breeds will be longer walks, more interactive play, and more advance trick attempts to burn off energy. Cats are more simple as I make sure they're fed, clean water, and clean their litterbox daily. I'll also lay out toys for them to play with in a specific area so that they'll be able to play whether I'm there or not. Cats I board will be in my bedroom as they often prefer privacy. Later on, they're welcome to explore the house if they choose to.

Absolutely amazing treats your dogs/puppues as if they are her own❤️
Jennifer always goes above and beyond for my animals, wouldn’t ask for anyone else and I’m sure my pets would say the same.

It was my first time using their drop-in service for my cat, and everything went perfectly. Jennifer was very reliable, communicative, and always went the extra mile for my cat. I will definitely seek their help again!

Jennifer and Irvin were very responsive and detailed in their daily reports. Somehow, they got such good pictures of my cat, who has a 6th sense for when someone is trying to get a picture of her. From the pictures, it looks like my old lady had a wonderful time with them, and she was happy as a clam when I got home. Somewhat related - they initially offered to do some small chores around the house to let my cat get used to their presence. My cat is pretty sociable, so I said that wouldn't be necessary. However, when I came back from my work-related trip, I found that the sink was cleaned, my bed made, and the floors swept. I thought this was such a thoughtful, kind thing to do, and I can't say how much it meant as a grad student who has spent the last few months preparing (and stressing) for this trip and doesn't have family or a large support network in town since finishing undergrad. The fact that they went out of their way to do these extra things for a stranger really warms my heart and further confirms in my mind that my cat was in good hands.
