About: I have experience caring for a variety of pets for a couple of years, and will make sure your pet stays comfortable in their own environment. I am someone who loves routines and I am very dependable. What sets me apart is my patience and my attention to detail. I will take time to get to know your pet, because they deserve to feel comfortable while their favorite person is away. I have a set schedule at my part-time job as a runner for a local firm, and college classes, but everything is the same week by week, so my schedule is very consistent. For this summer, I will be able to drop by anytime before 9 am and after 5 pm on Monday and Tuesday, or anytime before 9:00 am or after 11:30 pm Wednesday and Thursday! Friday-Sunday is completely free, and nights are always open unless I’m out of town! I will try my best to be there. Current Availability: Monday & Tuesday : 6:00 am - 9:00 am, just enough time for a quickkk bathroom break or drop in, 5:00 pm+ Wednesday & Thursday : 6:00 am - 9:00 am, 11:45 am + Friday - Sunday: Open. If you have any questions regarding my schedule or accommodation requests, please don't hesitate to ask! I want your pet to feel as comfortable as possible! Any feeding schedule, walk routine, house rules, or fun personalities will be accommodated to my best effort. I know that pets can often get stressed when things change, and I will try my hardest to keep their usual habit and routine flowing smoothly.

About: Hi, I’m Aly! My house was never empty growing up—I was raised in a home full of cats, which taught me how to respect and care for even the pickiest feline personalities. At the same time, I’ve always been the go-to dog walker for my friends and family, and I've recently taken that passion professional. Currently, I’m active on Wag!, where I’ve completed multiple successful walks and have already secured a repeat client who trusts me with their dog’s daily exercise. I’m excited to expand to Rover to offer that same high level of care to both dog and cat owners in the Tuscaloosa area! As a flexible independent worker, my schedule is my own, which means I can easily prioritize your pet’s routine! Whether it’s a mid-day check-in or a last-minute visit, I have the freedom to be there when you can’t. When I’m not hanging out with your pets, you’ll usually find me curled up with a book or learning a new skill. Since I value a calm and relaxed environment, I’m the perfect match for your pet who enjoy a peaceful presence or a quiet companion to sit with them while they nap. I focus on providing personalized care that matches your pet’s unique energy level. Whether I’m visiting for a drop-in or staying overnight, my priority is maintaining the routine that makes them feel safe and happy.

About: Hi pet parents! My name is Becca, and I have been pet-sitting for 8 years. Throughout that experience, many pet parents of varying ages have entrusted me with their furry children. I adore caring for animals, as I have a sweet orange cat of my own! I promise that I will give the same care and love to your pet that I give to my own little one. I currently work part time, and I am usually off at the critical times when I would need to drop in to feed your pet! I am always able to adjust my schedule to fit the times you will need me, especially in advance. The biggest thing for me when caring for my pets as well as your pet is to prioritize quality time with them. In addition to food of course. I make sure to spend as much time with my pets as I can, as they definitely notice when you're not interested in spending time with them. "Most importantly, I will try my best to make sure your pet is comfortable and not stressed. Trust between myself and my clients and their pets is essential!

About: Hi furbaby parents! 🐕❤️ SUMMER IS HERE! THEN FOOTBALL, THEN HOLIDAYS! Get your stay on the books before the crowd! I no longer keep as many, so schedule in advance in peak seasons. Having to get a sitter, drop-in visit or walks scheduled for your baby can be stressful nowadays. It's also hard to know who is the best fit, until you try. I understand the importance of finding the right one who will take great care of your baby. 🐶♥️ Being raised with several furbabies, of various sizes, it comes natural to me. Bc to me, they are our babies. Like us, they each have their own likes, dislikes, quirks & personalities. I have furkids myself & my house is setup with furbabies & safety in mind. 🥰 I have furbaby beds in several rooms, gates between doorways so in case someone wants to be alone, I can accommodate, or if your baby needs time to warm up to a new place, thats another reason to have gates, for them to meet & greet at their own pace, not rushed. I just don't like the idea of having to stay in kennels, like at the vet! Thats what brought me to Rover as a client, now a sitter myself. I have a playroom for furbaby friends with plenty of toys, beds & a fenced in backyard for supervised potty & play! On pretty days we spend as much time outside as we can. We also have elevated beds outside, 2 pup-pools, large grassy area & covered backporch, patio umbrella & our new addition- a misting fan to beat the heat! Thats a real treat! My babies love everyone, but I know not everyone else's pups love the same things. Its important for them all feel safe & comfortable. I have kennels if needed, which we rarely use, with a spare room if needed. So if one wants to nap quietly & another wants to run & play, its no problem at all. *I can do boarding in my home, sitter service, stop by for drop-in visit & feed/water, potty & play, or stop by & take them for a walk. I can stop by for kitty care, but cant board Ms/Mr Kitty at my house, sorry. *Ater hours pickup/drop off is no problem. My furkids are neutered/ spayed, fully vaccinated & get monthly heartworm/hookwork flea/tick prevention 💊 Prevention & good health is very important to me, as I would hope yours is taken care of also. Your baby is in good hands here, & will have plenty of playtime & treats; OR if we just want to nap, we love that too! 😊 ✨️Message me & let me know what days/times you need. Lots of love to go around. After hours is no problem, just let me know the Correct Dates/Times.🥰 **ALSO NOTE: I work alt hours giving me more availability, however I may not see your message immediately, as I'm caring for furbabies- whether mine, yours or both, I dont always have my phone in my hand. Feel free to call also. With that being said, IF YOU ARE JUST INQUIRING & not actually scheduling with me, or plans have changed, please retract your request, as I have been giving more time than I should to wait on either a confirmation of stay or cancel & this does go against our ratings. So I ask, if you are needing service, go ahead & book to get on the schedule, or if you aren't I will have to archive til you're ready to book. Many ppl don't realize this is part of the rating too, not just our care, bc believe me, they will have the most fun & best care here! 🥰🙏 ***FIRST TIME CLIENTS: Safety for all in important. Let's set up a quick meet & greet. That way, I can get better acquainted with your baby & you, and so your baby isn't meeting me as a stranger on our first day of stay. **We will meet in a Public/Safe place. Thanks & hope to see you & your babies soon! 🥰UPDATE: Rover makes 20% of all earnings, I offer discounted or locked in rates for my Repeat clients or Regulars; I even do some private pay clients. I take care of furkids a little more "extra" than many furparents, I've been told! But to me that's a compliment! Bc being furbaby lover, I believe in real loving care, not just meeting basic needs. 🐕 🐈 🦮 COME STAY & PLAY!🥰🐶❤️ I work locally & have recent changes in my schedule which gives me more availability. I also have my own precious furbabies at home, so it's not a new task. I would manage the same way I do for my own. So let me know what you need & I will get you on my calendar! And Thank you for inquiring with me. And much thanks to my current Regulars & for all the wonderful comments & reviews! I appreciate you all so much & I'm always here, so book early, as I only keep a few babies at a time, for adequate, attentive care! I have a treated fenced in back yard for our Supervised play & potty & security cameras in & outside my home for safety. Update: Please ensure your furbabies are up to date on vaccines. Cameras on and within property for safety. *I thought this should go in the safety area: I'm no stranger to the area. I'm originally from Fayette County. I have family here in Northport, Coker & Tuscaloosa. So, I am a lifelong local to the area, and have a complete background attached to my profile & also have updated Government Clearance. So rest assured, your baby is safe with me.

About: I’ve had many pets growing up, from cats to dogs! I love all animals, I used to be a barrel racer so I’ve ridden horses! And, my entire family has also been animal lovers from one having 4 dogs in one household to another having a pet tortoise! I’ve been around it all, small or big, chill or excited, so I love all! I’m currently a Student at the University of Alabama. I also am a member of the university’s Million Dollar Band! This being said I do have an availability that of a student. But, this should not limit my abilities of caring for your pet! I am very open and flexible with my schedule and we can find a way to make it work that is best comfortable for you! If you were wanting to have me care for your pet at home, they would have to be house trained as well as being okay around cats. My cat is very sweet she’s been around other cats and dogs, so she is very well acquainted to other animals! If I am to care for your animal at your home, I can assure you that I will do my best to follow your exact daily schedule your animals are accustomed to, that way they don’t have any extra stresses! As well as, you will not have to worry in the slightest bit about coming back and finding your place a mess! When you return not only will you return to happy pets but also a place that hopefully looks better than how you left!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
