About: I love watching animals more than anything! Always know that your animal is loved and in great hands when I am in charge and responsible for them I am a full time student at The University of Alabama. This is my first year so I am still getting used to everything! I only have 2 classes max a day so have plenty of free time!! I know how to crate animals, as I have a puppy back home that is crate trained. If your yard is not fenced I will at all times keep your dog on a leash!!

“Cameron was on time, polite, asked good questions about my dogs health, and it was obvious he really likes dogs. I would definitely hire Cameron again👍🏼”

About: I am super flexible and comfortable with dog care. I currently have an energetic young german shepherd so I understand the importance of dogs getting lots of exercise so that they can relax throughout the day. The main breeds I have experience with are Labs/Retrievers, German Shepherds, Beagles, Mixed Breed herding dogs, and Horses! I understand when dogs want to play and when they need their own space to relax. I currently have a german shepherd that I exercise twice a day either by walking, hiking, fetching or chasing hose water. Typically, I do one of these activities in the morning and one in the evening. My dog is free fed throughout the day, but I am familiar with dogs that prefer the routine of scheduled feeding or don't have self control, so I am comfortable following the routine that the dog is used to. I have a great walkable neighborhood, but I am very familiar with great places to walk and hike with dogs throughout the city. I am a grad student with lots of flexibility so my schedule is different from week to week, during the summer I will have lots of time each day to spend with your pup, but during the year I will provide excersize but less one-on-one time. I have a fenced in yard and a 1900 square foot home with hard surfaced floors. I don't allow my dogs on furniture, but if your dog is used to it, that is not currently a concern. My fences are sturdy and chain link, and about four feet tall. I prefer dogs that are crate trained overnight, and am happy to provide my own crates for them to sleep in. If they are not, I would happy to set up a play pen environment for them to be in!

“Ainsley is so great & Howie LOVES when she comes to walk him!”

About: I love animals! I worked part-time at a local animal shelter. As a result, I have gained ample experience in handling animals. I can also provide references if needed. I'm a part-time student (I take online classes), but I can always make time to do things I enjoy, and hanging out with the creatures is one! Taking long walks with the puppies is one of the many things I liked when working at the Shelter. Here are some basic rules I go by: Don't let your pet outside without a leash if the yard doesn't have a fence, don't step outside without locking the doors, and always do a little extra for the owner as a courtesy! :)

About: I had a Tibetan Terrier who lived to be 14 years old, so I've had plenty of senior pet care experience, as well as administering medications. I currently have a golden retriever who is about little over 1 year old who I got at 8 weeks so plenty of puppy experience as well. I've trained both of my dogs to do many tricks. I've never owned a cat but I've pet sit for plenty. I'm taking classes at the University of Alabama so whenver I'm not in class or taking care of my own dog, I'm free. Especially weekends, afternoons, and evening. I can take your dog on walks or if you have a fenced in yard I can go hang out with them in the backyard.

About: From a young age I was taught to care for all kinds of animals such as birds, cats, dogs, pigs, and ferrets. I can bottle feed pigs, kittens, and puppies. I work with puppies on basic training skills such as sit, paw, and lay-down. I can also bath animals and give medicine when needed. My classes start at 8:00 AM so if I need to make morning trips for animal care it would need to be around 7:00 AM I get out of class at noon and typically don't have additional activities until 5:00 PM. After that I'm available from 8:00 PM till 10:00 PM for last calls at houses. Currently I live in a dorm where I cannot have animals but when I was home with my family I took the dog out first thing in the morning for a walk/ jog. Once we are back to the house I provide breakfast and got ready for school. At lunch my mom would let the dog out to go to the rest room, around 3:00 when I got home from school I took my dog out to play or swim for 45 minutes to an hour. Around 5:00 PM we would chill on the couch while I completed homework and then we her outside for her last potty break around 9:00 and then when she comes in I comb her and get her ready for bed for the night.

“great communication and dependable! goes above and beyond!”

About: I have always had a huge spot in my heart for animals and I wish I could help every single one in bad situations. I have always known I wanted to work in Veterinary Medicine so currently I work at a clinic as a Veterinary assistant training to be a licensed Veterinary Technician !! I have so much experience with animals from puppies/kittens to senior dogs/cats including their different needs and type of care and can’t wait to learn even more!! *If possible, I do request proof of up to date vaccinations and preventions (flea, tick, heartworm and worm)* Since moving to Tuscaloosa, I’ve gotten a job at a vet clinic and my boyfriend (Mason) attends UA. He loves animals just as much as I do and we will always have them in our home! Our schedules are very flexible and someone is almost always home:) My dog Tug is a GSP (German shorthair pointer) and is absolutely rotten! He loves going to the dog park and is very friendly and loves meeting new people and friends!! I will not be alone any of the time for my safety and the animals safety, I will always have help and support!

I am respectful of my clients wishes as well as of their homes and I do my very best to tend to their furry friends needs !

About: My passion for pets and their mental well-being started early. Since 2019, my dad and I have volunteered at animal shelters, walking dogs and house training them to help them find loving homes. Now, as a college freshman, I’m continuing my mission to give back to the community and support animals as they grow. With two dogs of my own I trained and experience raising a litter of puppies, I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, loved, and engaged. When your pets are with me, they’ll get more than just care—they’ll enjoy fun agility activities, positive interaction, and, most importantly, safety. I am currently a fully time student, along with involved into on campus clubs and volunteers at the Hospital, but, I still make time to take care of animals at my local animal shelter. Your pet’s safety is my top priority. My home provides a secure, pet-friendly environment where your furry friend can relax, play, and feel at ease. I ensure all spaces are free from hazards, with secure fencing and locked gates for outdoor activities.

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was sixteen. Whether it was my own dog, my neighbors, or my friends, I have experience in walking, feeding, and bathing them. I love showing them love and care! I will have an internship for most of June, so that will be a busy month for me. In July, I will be working part-time so I will have all the time in the world to help play with and take care of dogs. I will care for the pet in my client's home with what they tell me to do. I do not mind putting a dog in a crate, letting him/her outside, or doing anything else.

About: Hi! My name is Olivia, I am senior in college and I have been pet sitting for over 7 years now. I have walked older dogs who need a walk down the street just to get outside and younger dogs who need a mile plus of walking a day to get their energy out. I have watched dogs with extensive medical issues and I know how to watch for signs as well as administer shots and pills. I’ve watched bigger dogs like Dobermans, Labs, Boxers and small dogs like Basenjis, Yorkies and Dachshunds. I also have experience with older dogs that need more specific care like help up, changing a diaper and making sure they eat enough. I I also have experience watching cats and giving pills and liquid medicine for the cats. As you can see what ever you need I’ve got you covered. I do have class throughout the week, but I have plenty of time to take your pets out, walk them and take care of them throughout the day. I follow your pets schedules to a T, and I update owners if anything seems off. I treat my clients pet as they are my own.

“Very kind and understanding! Will use Beau services again!”

About: With a lifelong love of dogs and a wealth of pet care experience, I stand out because of my passion for helping animals feel comfortable and cared for. I’ve spent my years caring for my own pets, pet-sitting for neighbors, and volunteering at the Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter as well as the Cecil County SPCA. During my volunteer work, I’ve had experience taking dogs out for walks, overnight stays, and providing one-on-one attention to shelter pets. I also have experience with senior dog care and am familiar with the unique needs of older pets. I have a special place in my heart for puppies and senior pets, and I’m always patient and attentive to their specific needs. Whether it’s a midday walk or an overnight stay, I’m ready to provide reliable, loving care for your pets. I’m currently a student at the University of Alabama, and while my schedule may vary based on my classes, I am available for daytime walks, overnight stays, and weekend care. I have flexible hours during evenings and weekends and am always happy to arrange times that work for you and your pet. I’m responsible and punctual, and will always ensure your pet gets the attention they deserve. I take pet safety and comfort very seriously, whether it’s in my own home or in my clients homes. Since my parents work and travel frequently, I’m always at home to care for my pets and ensure they’re never left alone for extended periods. I’ve had the opportunity to raise several puppies, so I’m used to giving them the attention, supervision, and care they need. I understand the important of creating a safe, secure, and familiar environment for pets, whether it’s following your home routines or creating a comfortable space in my own. I’m committed to providing trustworthy and loving care in any environment to ensure your pets are happy and well-cared for.

“I was SUPER stressed because my doggie care Didn’t pan out at last minute. Lauren was AMAZING! She was on it and made me feel so comfortable that a drop of a dime she was there to take care of my sweet pup. She sent me a pic of my pup that helped me calm down while I was LITERALLY boarding a plane for a work trip. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!”

“Ansley did wonderful walking my senior furbaby! She is professional, courteous, pleasant, and accommodating. My boy warmed up to her quickly and they were able to forge a good bond. I look forward to her continuing to walk, care for, and interact with my furbaby.”

About: I've been around pets most of my life, raising three dogs and one cat since I was 10. I'm comfortable with routines, behavior quirks, and giving pets the attention they need to feel safe and relaxed. Whether it's walks, feeding, playtime, or just quiet company, I make sure your pets feel cared for while you're away. I work my main job on weekend nights, so my schedule is wide open during weekdays and most weekends during the day. This gives me plenty of time to focus on your pet's needs. In my home, pets have a safe, calm space with toys, treats, and enrichment: cat trees for climbing and cozy spots for rest. I maintain consistent routines, whether it’s feeding, playtime, or downtime. Dogs get walks, outdoor time, and attention tailored to their energy. I make sure every pet feels comfortable, stimulated, and cared for like they’re my own.

About: I have been caring for pets since I was just 8 years old! Over the years, I have had the pleasure of looking after several furry friends, including two Yorkies, a pug, and now my Cocker Spaniel named Major. I also have two years of experience working in a Doggy Day Care, so you can trust that I will be able to meet all of your pet's needs and desires. As a full-time student at The University of Alabama, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to cater to your dog's every whim. I have a true passion for animals and treat them with the same love and attentiveness that I would like my own pets. I can't wait to meet your furry companion and provide them with the care and attention they deserve! I'm a dedicated full-time student with a flexible schedule, available to help with your dogs' needs and wants. My classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but I'm open to assisting with your furry friends whenever they need me! I have a furry friend of my own who can keep your dog company whenever needed! While I don't have a fenced yard, there is plenty of space in my home for your dog to play, including outdoors for walks and fun playtime.

About: Since I was little, I was around animals all the time. My mom‘s cat lady gene was very strong, because I have six very special cats myself: Ruby (an orange tabby with three legs), Freya (a long-haired dilute torbie), Luna (a silly calico), Phoebe (a tortie with white socks), Callisto (a gray teddybear who came to us as a yard stray) and Poe (void cat who was born in our house). Although I do not want the commitment of adding a dog to the mix full-time, I also love taking care and playing with all puppers! I work full-time during the week, but I have a flexible work times. I can schedule walks and check-ups early in the mornings and starting after 5 pm in the afternoon. I am available most weekends, both Saturday and Sunday. I will familiarize myself with your space and where your pets are allowed. It is important to me to understand if your pet will try to test limits and rules with me that might apply in your home. Both cats and dogs react differently to strangers, so it is important for me to not force them to interact if they want their space.

“Sarah Jane is hands down the best pet sitter/walker I've ever had the pleasure of working with! Not only is she extremely sweet and trustworthy, but she's also incredibly responsible and dependable. I've seen firsthand how she's worked with her own German Shepherd, and it's clear she has a deep understanding of canine behavior and training. Her punctuality and reliability are top-notch, and I know my furry friends would be in good hands with her. I highly recommend Sarah Jane for any pet sitting or walking needs she'll treat your pets like family!”

Chy W.
“Hello reader! I'm Chy's friend and we used to work together at the animal shelter in 2021. She would always be the first one to arrive early morning for her duties. She always came to work with a great attitude, enjoyed the animals' company very much, and treated them each like they were special to her. I would even catch her sometimes in the kennel room by herself talking and sneaking them donated toys and treats, it was so cute! I could definitely trust Chylynn with my pets anytime, she treats them with love and care. You can expect her to do a great job of taking care of your pets!”

Kenzie Y.

“Kenzie took care of my dog for a while and did such a great job, even administering medications. She took my dog on long walks and played with her for a longer than asked. She does her job very well.”

Olivia F.
“To Whom It May Concern, My name is Chris Kobal. I am writing this letter of recommendation for Olivia Freed. Olivia has been a student of mine at Cy-Fair High School for two years. Over the course of this time I have gotten to know her very well. So much so, that my wife and I have entrusted the care of our beloved dog, Nike to her. My wife and I have been away numerous times and have relied upon Olivia to not only take care of Nike, but house sit as well. Olivia is highly responsible, mature and a caring individual. Upon our return from every trip, the house (and Nike) are always in excellent condition. Nike LOVES being around Olivia. She stays by her side whenever we are gone. I believe that animals sense a human’s true nature. It’s obvious to my wife and I that Olivia is loving and kind. We hate leaving Nike but feel blessed to be able to leave her with Olivia. In conclusion, we would highly recommend Olivia Freed to take care of your pet and/or house sit. It has been a comfort to us knowing that we can trust that our Mike will be well taken care of. It is also a relief knowing that our home will be respected and safe. Olivia will not disappoint if you select her to work for you. Sincerely, Chris Kobal”
