I prioritize active, joyful outdoor time, including trips to the park, long walks, and relaxing together on the back porch! I'm correctly working part time and have a fairly flexible schedule. I want to be able to prioritize your pet's needs whether that looks like 1+ hour walks/ enrichment time or special feeding times and instructions. Your pets comfort is my number 1 priority. I love to go on long walks, go to the dog park, or used the fenced in dog space in my neighborhood to allow our babies the time they need to play and get the enrichment that they need. A pet is always welcome to make themselves at home in my space even if that means that I have to adapt certain things to their needs like assistance getting in bed for puppies and elder dogs or making sure that their favorite toys are always available for them to play with.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life—since I was 5 years old. My mom is a dog groomer, and I worked with her for years, which gave me hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and needs. I currently have three of my own, ranging from 40 to 190 lbs, so I’m very comfortable handling large breeds and high-energy pups. I’m confident with everything from basic care to reading dog body language and managing senior or anxious dogs with patience and calm energy. I work from home, so I’m home all day and able to give your pet plenty of attention, playtime, and potty breaks. About: Hello! I'm looking forward to spending some of my time caring for your pets while you're away! I am really inspired by Old Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary and one day I hope to open my own animal sanctuary, but Rover will have to do for now. I've always had at least one dog in my house growing up. Right now I have two dogs as well as cats in my home. I also have a fenced yard to offer supervised play time and potty breaks. I'd be more than happy to drop in and make sure your lil' kitty-kat is well fed, played with, and has a clean litter box OR even host them in my cat room (AKA a quiet bedroom reserved just for cats that my pups do not have access to). Special skills: house training, crate training, medication administration- liquid and capsule, walking multiple (big) dogs at the same time, supervised play and feeding, etc. **Full disclosure: I am not on Rover for this to be my source of income. I keep my rates low because I know how expensive it can be when looking for trusted animal care, especially when you have more than one animal in the home and need to be away for more than a night. I am just offering the quality of care I want given to my animals when I am away. Any questions? Let's talk! My schedule during the day is pretty flexible as I work from home full time. I am also free during the weekend. What kind of care are you looking for and what days do you have in mind? I do offer a fenced yard and calm, child-free day care and pet sitting for those with proof of vaccination. I live in a house with plenty of room to stretch out and get comfortable. I am also able to take your dogs on leashed walks on the river trail or around town. My schedule is pretty flexible, I work from home so I have lots of autonomy. About: I got my first family dog at the age of 12 and he was a 100 pound chocolate Labrador named Max. When I moved to Germany, I was not allowed to take him so he currently lives with my brother. After moving back to the US, I got my own toy poodle at the age of 16 named Eymber and was completely responsible for her. Once I moved to college, I got her a puppy named Koko and they absolutely love eachother. Eymber is now 5 years old and koko is 1. Occasionally, I stop by the Tuscaloosa animal shelter to volunteer and I love being the reason a pup was happy that day. I love my babies and all fur babies more than anything in the world!!💛 I graduated from the University of Alabama in December of 2024. I’m a stay at home wife while my spouse works at the Alberta elementary school of performing arts so I’ll have plenty of time to cafe for your pups. I have a small fenced in backyard and 2 adult toy poodles who are very sweet to everyone. I live in a small neighborhood with tons of space to take walks/runs. I also prefer a gentle approach when correcting behavior and I believe crates should be a safe space rather than punishment.

About: Growing up on a farm I've had a lot of experience with multitudes of different animals. I have a genuine love for all fur babies (and those without fur). I have a lot of love and time to give to any baby needing to be watched by someone who will be attentive and loving. I play and talk and really spend time with the babies I watch. Since I have owned many cats over the years I also consider myself experienced in cat care. I don’t mind cleaning up after pets and I can give medicine to unwilling pets. I don’t currently have a job so I my schedule is very flexible. I also don’t mind getting up early if necessary for your pet. I have a fenced backyard and my pets are friendly. I can easily crate your pet if that’s what they’re used to. I can also come to your house to take them out and give them plenty of love.

About: I’ve had pets in my home my entire life! Multiple dogs and at least one cat at a time. We have fostered many puppies and dogs some were medically fragile through our local humane society. As a child I learned how to be responsible for my pets and all their daily care. About: 🥰Bring your baby for their "fur-cation" where the fun & relaxation is!😍🐶 Having to get a sitter, drop-in visit or walks scheduled for your baby can be a stressor- being away from your baby & finding your person. Well you have found your person here. I love furbabies & will take great care of your baby. 🐶♥️ I have furkids myself & my house is setup with furbabies & safety in mind. 🥰 I have furbaby beds in several rooms, gates between doorways so in case someone wants to be alone, I can accommodate, or if your baby needs time to warm up to a new place, thats another reason to have gates, for them to meet & greet at their own pace, not rushed, bc they all have their own personalities & preferences. I just don't like the idea of having to stay in kennels, like at the vet! Thats what brought me to Rover as a client, now a sitter myself. I have a playroom for furbaby friends with plenty of toys, beds & a fenced in backyard for supervised potty & play! On pretty days we spend as much time outside as we can. We also have elevated beds outside, 2 little pup-pools, large grassy area & covered backporch with ceiling fans, patio umbrella & also a water misting fan to beat the heat! (Pup cups too!)🥰 My babies love everyone, but I know not everyone else's pups love the same things. Its important for them all feel safe & comfortable. I have kennels if needed, which we rarely use, with a spare room if needed. So if one wants to nap quietly & another wants to run & play, its no problem at all. My senior pup is 11 & will play some but mostly likes to lounge & watch the others; my twins are almost 2 & will play off & on all day, so your baby will have a great time! *I can do boarding in my home, sitter service, stop by for drop-in visit & feed/water, potty & play, or stop by & take them for a walk. I can stop by for kitty care, but cant board Ms/Mr Kitty at my house, sorry. *Ater hours pickup/drop off is no problem. My furkids are neutered/ spayed, fully vaccinated & get monthly heartworm/hookwork flea/tick prevention 💊 Prevention & good health is very important to me, as I would hope yours is taken care of also. Your baby is in good hands here, & will have plenty of playtime & treats; OR if we just want to nap, we love that too! 😊 ✨️Message me & let me know what days/times you need. About: I am super flexible and comfortable with dog care. I currently have an energetic young german shepherd so I understand the importance of dogs getting lots of exercise so that they can relax throughout the day. The main breeds I have experience with are Labs/Retrievers, German Shepherds, Beagles, Mixed Breed herding dogs, and Horses! I understand when dogs want to play and when they need their own space to relax. I currently have a german shepherd that I exercise twice a day either by walking, hiking, fetching or chasing hose water. Typically, I do one of these activities in the morning and one in the evening. My dog is free fed throughout the day, but I am familiar with dogs that prefer the routine of scheduled feeding or don't have self control, so I am comfortable following the routine that the dog is used to. I have a great walkable neighborhood, but I am very familiar with great places to walk and hike with dogs throughout the city. I am a grad student with lots of flexibility so my schedule is different from week to week, during the summer I will have lots of time each day to spend with your pup, but during the year I will provide excersize but less one-on-one time. I have a fenced in yard and a 1900 square foot home with hard surfaced floors. I don't allow my dogs on furniture, but if your dog is used to it, that is not currently a concern. My fences are sturdy and chain link, and about four feet tall. I prefer dogs that are crate trained overnight, and am happy to provide my own crates for them to sleep in. If they are not, I would happy to set up a play pen environment for them to be in!
