About: I am 18 and have always had pets growing up. Back at home I have a weimaraner and a toy poodle that i love so so much. I have always taken care of my friends and family’s pets and hope to give other peoples pets the best experience. I am currently i first year bridge student with Shelton State Community College and The University of Alabama. I have class from 8-1 on weekdays and Fridays from 9-11 and the weekends i am completely free. I currently live at Redpoint Tuscaloosa and have two other roommates, there is a dog park right outside my door and many places to walk the animals if required.

About: I have two big dogs personally myself that I’ve had for about two years. I’ve been dog sitting for the last year for clients with dogs of all sizes and ages, potty trained or not. I am in school, and don’t work so my availability is really open besides, my class schedule that’s during the days a few hours out of the week. I am great with dogs, love going on long walks or let him out in the backyard and playing with them, and I’m used to hyper or energetic dogs

About: I grew up on a farm. My mom raised puppies and kittens. Growing up I lived with at least eight dogs and eight cats at a time (in a small trailer). Now I live in a small house with room outside to walk a dog-- and can even take them to a trail or creek if you wish. I am not scared of aggressive animals. Some pets need more attention than others! I am a house cleaner from 7:30AM to about 11AM-3PM (it depends on the houses). However, I can make time to come home in between work for your pet. I am free all day on weekends. I have a small grass field, a safe neighborhood, and a cozy home. I make sure your pet always has water and food (unless otherwise specified) and attention.

“Mallory is amazing. I have a very shy and fearful dog. She’s taken the time to get to know her and works at her speed ensuring that all her needs are met while I’m at work/away. She communicates very well with me. She even came by and picked up my dog while I was at work to keep her safe when there was a tornado watch. She knew my dog was alone and I don’t have family nearby. She was there within minutes to get her. Of course she checked with me first, but Mallory put my dog’s safety first and I can’t thank her enough for that. She’s very considerate and works hard to meet everyone’s needs. Even if she’s busy and I ask her to stop by she’ll figure out a way to fit my request in her schedule. She’s excellent and I highly recommend her.”
About: Me and my family have owned a French bull dog for 8 years, as well as I have worked at a doggie day care (digstown) for 4. During my time at digstown I have cared for every size shape and personality imaginable! I currently only work one day a week and I am home for about 80% of my day, I own a car so transportation would never be a problem. About: I’ve had my beagle, Sméagol, since I was 6 years old. Now, 16 years old you can still find her running around happy as can be! I’ve raised my 3 year old- Pibble- since she was merely the size of my hand; she’s my best friend! I also volunteer at the animal shelter and recently was offered a job there! I am a senior at UA, but I am taking online courses. I do have two dogs of my own but I can always bring them to my house (which I own) and we can spend more time together! If your babies don’t feel comfortable around other dogs or don’t want to leave their safe space, I could check on them every 2-4 hours! I have a fenced in yard (9 feet tall) so even the biggest babies couldn’t hop over it. I work with abused dogs frequently and know how to create a safe and comfortable environment for more skiddish doggos. It’s very important to me that not only your fur baby is comfortable, but that you as the owner also feel comfortable; knowing your baby is safe. My care will vary based off of the dog and their individual needs as well as the owners preferences. Rest assured, I take tons of pictures so you feel connected to your baby while you are away!
About: I have grown up with dogs and cats from a young age. Throughout my life, I have had dogs ranging in size from a Yorkie to a Great Pyrenees. I have also had cats of all different temperaments, from shy and particular to loving and outgoing. I have further pet care experience from helping my parents foster many puppies and kittens over the last eight years. I also worked for a vet’s office for three years, cleaning up, feeding the animals, and taking them for walks. I love all pets and I have enough experience to take care of them well! I am a senior at the University of Alabama and I only have one-two classes a day, so that leaves me plenty of time to care for your pets! With age, my cat Iggy has gotten more obstinate and more anxious whenever I leave home. Zoe did so much to attend to her needs, treat her, and draw her out to play and engage while I was away. When I returned, Iggy seemed as relaxed as I could have hoped. Zoe was so thoughtful about sending videos, photos, and responding to texts. She had treats and cat videos to help entertain Iggy and draw her out on days when she wanted to hide. It was all above and beyond and showed great experience, animal insight, and care. 10/10 will book again!

Anna was very sweet and patient with our three animals. One dog was a bit hesitant the first day but Anna was incredibly patient and got the dog to love her. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
