“Mallory is amazing. I have a very shy and fearful dog. She’s taken the time to get to know her and works at her speed ensuring that all her needs are met while I’m at work/away. She communicates very well with me. She even came by and picked up my dog while I was at work to keep her safe when there was a tornado watch. She knew my dog was alone and I don’t have family nearby. She was there within minutes to get her. Of course she checked with me first, but Mallory put my dog’s safety first and I can’t thank her enough for that. She’s very considerate and works hard to meet everyone’s needs. Even if she’s busy and I ask her to stop by she’ll figure out a way to fit my request in her schedule. She’s excellent and I highly recommend her.”
About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all different sizes and personalities throughout my life, especially the last 6 years. Back home I have three dogs, including 2 Labrador retrievers and a chihuahua mix rescue. I used to dog sit for my neighbors every few months, typically for a week at a time. About: Hi! I am a 24 year old in Tuscaloosa and I would love to care for your pet! I have experience with both big and small dogs along with cats. I spent over a year working at TROT doing equine-assisted therapy and helping care for the horses on their property. I am comfortable administering medicine as I have had a diabetic dog and currently have a special-needs dog myself. I have also shadowed in a veterinarian's office for six months and have volunteered in animal shelters since middle school. I work six hours a day, but my hours are flexible so I am able to work around your pet needs. With age, my cat Iggy has gotten more obstinate and more anxious whenever I leave home. Zoe did so much to attend to her needs, treat her, and draw her out to play and engage while I was away. When I returned, Iggy seemed as relaxed as I could have hoped. Zoe was so thoughtful about sending videos, photos, and responding to texts. She had treats and cat videos to help entertain Iggy and draw her out on days when she wanted to hide. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
