I live on 3 acres of property, giving dogs plenty of space to explore, exercise, and enjoy the outdoors under supervision. While the yard is not fenced, I prioritize safety and can keep dogs leashed, closely monitored, or crated when needed. I make sure pets receive daily walks, regular playtime, and plenty of attention throughout the day. For dogs that enjoy being active, I also occasionally take them on hikes to provide additional exercise and enrichment. I understand the importance of maintaining a pet’s normal routine and will follow feeding schedules, exercise needs, medication instructions, and any special care requests provided by the owner. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat their home and pets with the utmost respect, ensuring pets remain comfortable in their familiar environment while receiving attentive care. My goal is always to make pets feel safe and happy while their owners are away.

I love keeping pets active and engaged! Depending on each pet’s age, energy level, and owner’s preferences, activities may include daily walks, runs, visits to local greenways, hiking adventures, fetch, tug-of-war, interactive games, and plenty of playtime.

I am a dependable and experienced pet sitter with over 8 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities. As someone who has grown up with and owned dogs, I understand the importance of providing pets with consistent care, attention, exercise, and affection while their owners are away. In addition to caring for my own dogs, I have regularly pet sat for neighbors and teammates, helping with feeding, walking, playtime, administering basic care, and maintaining pets’ daily routines. I am comfortable working with both large and small breeds and understand that every dog has unique needs and energy levels.

Maurica did a great job looking after my two small dogs. She was on time and took my Puggle on a nice walk. She took my elderly dog outside in the yard as I had asked. Everything was well documented with photos which is so helpful.
Maurica was fantastic. She was communicative, reliable, followed instructions, asked great questions, and sent helpful updates and photos. Raleigh and Queen both seemed comfortable, happy, and very well cared for. She was flexible with a relatively last-minute booking, took great care of Raleigh with walks and dog park trips, and left the house cleaner than she found it. I would definitely book her again.
Maurica is the best!! She took great care of our babies and was very communicative. She really cares about the animals she watches and is accommodating of requests. 100% would recommend!
