Information Zoe P. would like to know about your pet

If I can help accommodate any needs or training wishes, let me know!!! My preference for daycare and boarding is for dogs that are alright with other dogs, as mine is very docile and submissive.

A typical day

I enjoy playing fetch and helping dogs develop their “drop” and recall skills! Mental and physical exercise alike!:) I love walks, and if permissible, bringing pups to parks. With cats, I love treat scattering and toys, and as silly as it sounds, talking to them! I think cats get used to people much more quickly when they’re chatted up a bit, haha!

Equestrian+farm girl turned dog mom

Pet care experience

I have pet sat independently for years with many repeat clients, and wanted to give this a try!:) I am currently the moderator of the largest animal help+missing pet Facebook group, Vice-President and Treasurer of the Tuscaloosa Animal Welfare Collaborative, and volunteer for rescue and welfare efforts in Tuscaloosa. I grew up on a farm, so needless to say, animal care has been a part of my life since the start! My current clientele include Black Russian Terriers to teacup Shih Tzu, to Siamese and Maine Coon kitties, and even bunnies and birds. I’ve helped raise and train many breeds of dogs, from greyhound to GSDs. I have also helped several horses give birth…I have seen and done it all!:) I am comfortable with injections and oral medication. I am an animal shelter volunteer and have helped groom dogs and coordinate supply drop offs, as well. I currently have my own dog, an impeccably trained shepherd mix named Jade, who is not only man’s best friend but every dog’s bff. She, like me, is a total lover of people and pets alike. She is great with cats and dogs, so no worries for daycare or boarding. It would mean the world to welcome your pets into our family fold. I also have experience with puppies, as I raised my girl from newborn. I am passionate about maintaining household rules and training regimes, and would be happy to help upkeep any suggested training routines. I am an athlete, and comfortable with longer walks, as well as XL breeds. Can lift up to 100lbs comfortably.

With age, my cat Iggy has gotten more obstinate and more anxious whenever I leave home. Zoe did so much to attend to her needs, treat her, and draw her out to play and engage while I was away. When I returned, Iggy seemed as relaxed as I could have hoped. Zoe was so thoughtful about sending videos, photos, and responding to texts. She had treats and cat videos to help entertain Iggy and draw her out on days when she wanted to hide. It was all above and beyond and showed great experience, animal insight, and care. 10/10 will book again!

Zoe was simply the most incredible sitter! Through her the pictures she took, and the videos, and through the Rover report cards, her unique attention to communication by media (pictures and videos) made me as if i was actually there with my guys! Thank you Zoe!

My cats loved Zoe, and she kept me updated and plenty of videos and pictures while I was away.
