Alyssia was great! She learned all my pup’s training commands and brought her back exhausted! This was my first Rover but it won’t be last.

About: Hi furbaby parents! 🐕❤️ Summer is here! 🥰Bring your baby for their "fur-cation" where the fun & relaxation is!😍🐶 Having to get a sitter, drop-in visit or walks scheduled for your baby can be a stressor- being away from your baby & finding your person. Well you have found your person here. I love furbabies & will take great care of your baby. 🐶♥️ To me they are our babies, & like us, they each have their own likes, dislikes, quirks & personalities. I have furkids myself & my house is setup with furbabies & safety in mind. 🥰 I have furbaby beds in several rooms, gates between doorways so in case someone wants to be alone, I can accommodate, or if your baby needs time to warm up to a new place, thats another reason to have gates, for them to meet & greet at their own pace, not rushed. I just don't like the idea of having to stay in kennels, like at the vet! Thats what brought me to Rover as a client, now a sitter myself. I have a playroom for furbaby friends with plenty of toys, beds & a fenced in backyard for supervised potty & play! On pretty days we spend as much time outside as we can. We also have elevated beds outside, 2 little pup-pools, large grassy area & covered backporch with ceiling fans, patio umbrella & also a water misting fan to beat the heat! Thats a real treat! (Pup cups too!)🥰 My babies love everyone, but I know not everyone else's pups love the same things. Its important for them all feel safe & comfortable. I have kennels if needed, which we rarely use, with a spare room if needed. So if one wants to nap quietly & another wants to run & play, its no problem at all. My senior pup is 10 & will play some but mostly likes to lounge & watch the others; my twins are almost 2 & will play off & on all day, so your baby will have a great time! *I can do boarding in my home, sitter service, stop by for drop-in visit & feed/water, potty & play, or stop by & take them for a walk. I can stop by for kitty care, but cant board Ms/Mr Kitty at my house, sorry. *Ater hours pickup/drop off is no problem. My furkids are neutered/ spayed, fully vaccinated & get monthly heartworm/hookwork flea/tick prevention 💊 Prevention & good health is very important to me, as I would hope yours is taken care of also. Your baby is in good hands here, & will have plenty of playtime & treats; OR if we just want to nap, we love that too! 😊 ✨️Message me & let me know what days/times you need. Lots of love to go around.🥰 ***FIRST TIME CLIENTS: Safety for all in important. Let's set up a quick meet & greet. That way, I can get better acquainted with your baby & you, and so your baby isn't meeting me as a stranger on our first day of stay, but I understand sometimes its not an option for whatever reason, & thats okay. We will be glad to have you! **We will meet in a Public/Safe place. Thanks & hope to see you & your babies soon! 🥰 I take care of furkids a little more "extra" than many furparents, I've been told! But to me that's a compliment! Bc being furbaby lover, I believe in real loving care, not just meeting basic needs. 🐕 🐈 🦮 COME STAY & PLAY!🥰🐶❤️ I work locally & have recent changes in my schedule which gives me more availability. I also have my own precious furbabies at home, so it's not a new task. I would manage the same way I do for my own. So let me know what you need & I will get you on my calendar! And Thank you for inquiring with me. And much thanks to my current Regulars & for all the wonderful comments & reviews! I appreciate you all so much & I'm always here, so book early, as I only keep a few babies at a time, for adequate, attentive care! I have a treated fenced in back yard for our Supervised play & potty & security cameras in & outside my home for safety. Update: Please ensure your furbabies are up to date on vaccines. Cameras on and within property for safety. *Misc info: I am a lifelong local to the area, and have a complete background attached to my profile & also have updated Government Clearance. So rest assured, your baby is safe with me. I love them, bc they are the epitome of unconditional love, & need to show that back to them all.

About: I have many years of experience with dogs and other pets of all kinds. I was a sitter for many local families and their pets were always taken care of and loved. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away, and I always treat every animal like my own. I am a college student completing my work online. I am home full time spend most of my dog spending time with my dog polar. I have a quiet house for dogs who prefer a more peaceful environment but I also have a fenced in park area where I sometimes spend the day at for more high energy pets. The environment is very safe and your pets will be watched and safe at all time.

About: Hi pet parents! My name is Becca, and I have been pet-sitting for 8 years. Throughout that experience, many pet parents of varying ages have entrusted me with their furry children. I adore caring for animals, as I have a sweet orange cat of my own! I promise that I will give the same care and love to your pet that I give to my own little one. I currently work part time, and I am usually off at the critical times when I would need to drop in to feed your pet! I am always able to adjust my schedule to fit the times you will need me, especially in advance. The biggest thing for me when caring for my pets as well as your pet is to prioritize quality time with them. In addition to food of course. I make sure to spend as much time with my pets as I can, as they definitely notice when you're not interested in spending time with them. "Most importantly, I will try my best to make sure your pet is comfortable and not stressed. Trust between myself and my clients and their pets is essential!

About: Hello! I'm looking forward to spending some of my time caring for your pets while you're away! I am really inspired by Old Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary and one day I hope to open my own animal sanctuary, but Rover will have to do for now. I've always had at least one dog in my house growing up. Right now I have two dogs as well as cats in my home. I also have a fenced yard to offer supervised play time and potty breaks. I'd be more than happy to drop in and make sure your lil' kitty-kat is well fed, played with, and has a clean litter box OR even host them in my cat room (AKA a quiet bedroom reserved just for cats that my pups do not have access to). Special skills: house training, crate training, medication administration- liquid and capsule, walking multiple (big) dogs at the same time, supervised play and feeding, etc. **Full disclosure: I am not on Rover for this to be my source of income. I keep my rates low because I know how expensive it can be when looking for trusted animal care, especially when you have more than one animal in the home and need to be away for more than a night. I am just offering the quality of care I want given to my animals when I am away. Any questions? Let's talk! My schedule during the day is pretty flexible as I work from home full time. I am also free during the weekend. What kind of care are you looking for and what days do you have in mind? I do offer a fenced yard and calm, child-free day care and pet sitting for those with proof of vaccination. I live in a house with plenty of room to stretch out and get comfortable. I am also able to take your dogs on leashed walks on the river trail or around town. My schedule is pretty flexible, I work from home so I have lots of autonomy. I’m home most of the time so there’s constant supervision. I have a fenced yard and extra bedrooms to offer a quiet space if your pet prefers to be away from the pack. Otherwise, I allow the animals in the house to nap, roam, and play wherever they'd like. My dogs are pretty social, they get along well with others and enjoy the dog park. My cats are also used to being around dogs and are pretty relaxed about it.

About: I have had many pets over the years, both cats and dogs, and fully understand the level of attention and love they require. I will be sure to care for your pets just as I would my own! I can walk dogs well, and can follow special instructions if necessary! I also am able to give your animals the appropriate medications if needed. I have lots of animals back home of various sizes. At my dads we have a German Shepard and Chocolate Lab, and a cat. At my moms we have a larger dog, unsure of breed, a chihuahua, and a terrier. I have experience with all types of breeds and sizes, so there will be no problems no matter the type of dog you have!

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since childhood, and for the last five years I’ve regularly helped friends and neighbors with walking, feeding, bathing, and basic care. I understand dog behavior well and stay calm, consistent, and reliable no matter the dog’s age or personality. I currently am off season for my job, but I go to school at Alabama so it depends on when in the day and what times! But I am done at 2 pm every day. I live in a dorm that doesn’t allow pets unfortunately but next year I will live in an apartment so I will be able to sit then!

About: I have 3 dogs myself and I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 13. I’ve played with, walked, fed, bathed my neighbors, friends, and families dogs for years. I worked at a pet store for 2 years learned how to read and take care of dogs. I love all types of dogs! I work part-time in the evenings, so I have plenty of availability during the day for dog walks and drop-in visits. My flexible schedule allows me to provide reliable care throughout the week, and I’m committed to being punctual and making sure each pet gets the attention, exercise, and care they needs! I prioritize every pet’s safety and comfort by following the owner’s instructions closely, using secure leashes and harnesses during walks, and ensuring gates and doors are always properly closed. During home visits, I’ll provide fresh water, feed pets as directed, give them plenty of attention and exercise, and make sure the home is left exactly as I found it. I’ll also keep owners updated with messages and photos so they know their pet is happy and well cared for!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
