About: Hi, I’m Aly! My house was never empty growing up—I was raised in a home full of cats, which taught me how to respect and care for even the pickiest feline personalities. At the same time, I’ve always been the go-to dog walker for my friends and family, and I've recently taken that passion professional. Currently, I’m active on Wag!, where I’ve completed multiple successful walks and have already secured a repeat client who trusts me with their dog’s daily exercise. I’m excited to expand to Rover to offer that same high level of care to both dog and cat owners in the Tuscaloosa area! As a flexible independent worker, my schedule is my own, which means I can easily prioritize your pet’s routine! Whether it’s a mid-day check-in or a last-minute visit, I have the freedom to be there when you can’t. When I’m not hanging out with your pets, you’ll usually find me curled up with a book or learning a new skill. About: I am super flexible and comfortable with dog care. I currently have an energetic young german shepherd so I understand the importance of dogs getting lots of exercise so that they can relax throughout the day. The main breeds I have experience with are Labs/Retrievers, German Shepherds, Beagles, Mixed Breed herding dogs, and Horses! I understand when dogs want to play and when they need their own space to relax. I currently have a german shepherd that I exercise twice a day either by walking, hiking, fetching or chasing hose water. Typically, I do one of these activities in the morning and one in the evening. My dog is free fed throughout the day, but I am familiar with dogs that prefer the routine of scheduled feeding or don't have self control, so I am comfortable following the routine that the dog is used to. I have a great walkable neighborhood, but I am very familiar with great places to walk and hike with dogs throughout the city. I am a grad student with lots of flexibility so my schedule is different from week to week, during the summer I will have lots of time each day to spend with your pup, but during the year I will provide excersize but less one-on-one time. I have a fenced in yard and a 1900 square foot home with hard surfaced floors. I don't allow my dogs on furniture, but if your dog is used to it, that is not currently a concern. My fences are sturdy and chain link, and about four feet tall. I prefer dogs that are crate trained overnight, and am happy to provide my own crates for them to sleep in. If they are not, I would happy to set up a play pen environment for them to be in!

About: I have experience caring for a variety of pets for a couple of years, and will make sure your pet stays comfortable in their own environment. I am someone who loves routines and I am very dependable. What sets me apart is my patience and my attention to detail. I will take time to get to know your pet, because they deserve to feel comfortable while their favorite person is away. I have a set schedule at my part-time job as a runner for a local firm, and college classes, but everything is the same week by week, so my schedule is very consistent. For this summer, I will be able to drop by anytime before 9 am and after 5 pm on Monday and Tuesday, or anytime before 9:00 am or after 11:30 pm Wednesday and Thursday! Friday-Sunday is completely free, and nights are always open unless I’m out of town! I will try my best to be there. Current Availability: Monday & Tuesday : 6:00 am - 9:00 am, just enough time for a quickkk bathroom break or drop in, 5:00 pm+ Wednesday & Thursday : 6:00 am - 9:00 am, 11:45 am + Friday - Sunday: Open. If you have any questions regarding my schedule or accommodation requests, please don't hesitate to ask! I want your pet to feel as comfortable as possible! Any feeding schedule, walk routine, house rules, or fun personalities will be accommodated to my best effort. I know that pets can often get stressed when things change, and I will try my hardest to keep their usual habit and routine flowing smoothly.

About: I grew up owning pets of all kinds and played a significant role in the care and education of them from an early age. Whether it was cleaning up their messes, bathing them, walking them, feeding them, or breeding cocker spaniels, it was something I loved to do. I was taught that our pets were family and so I will treat yours like my best friends at the very least. I find it difficult to leave my little buddy when I leave town, so you can rest assured yours will be given the same care I expect from whomever I leave in care of my pets. I don't want them to sit in a crate all day and night, I expect for them to get the exercise and attention they need to grow and feel loved.

About: Since I was little, I was around animals all the time. My mom‘s cat lady gene was very strong, because I have six very special cats myself: Ruby (an orange tabby with three legs), Freya (a long-haired dilute torbie), Luna (a silly calico), Phoebe (a tortie with white socks), Callisto (a gray teddybear who came to us as a yard stray) and Poe (void cat who was born in our house). Although I do not want the commitment of adding a dog to the mix full-time, I also love taking care and playing with all puppers! I work full-time during the week, but I have a flexible work times. I can schedule walks and check-ups early in the mornings and starting after 5 pm in the afternoon. I am available most weekends, both Saturday and Sunday. I will familiarize myself with your space and where your pets are allowed. It is important to me to understand if your pet will try to test limits and rules with me that might apply in your home. Both cats and dogs react differently to strangers, so it is important for me to not force them to interact if they want their space.

About: I have a dog and 2 cats of my own so I consider myself experienced in pet care. I have dog sat for many years now for both neighbors and family. Since I have owned many cats over the years I also consider myself experienced in cat care. I don’t mind cleaning up after pets and I can give medicine to unwilling pets. I don’t currently have a job so I my schedule is very flexible. I also don’t mind getting up early if necessary for your pet. I have a fenced backyard and my pets are friendly. I can easily crate your pet if that’s what they’re used to. I can also come to your house to take them out and give them plenty of love.
