Whether it’s playful puppies needing extra training and attention, or senior dogs requiring gentle care and medication reminders, I’ve got the experience to make sure they’re comfortable, happy, and safe. I specialize in helping pups with basic training, reinforcing good habits, and ensuring they feel loved and secure when you’re away. You can trust that your dog will always be treated like family! I have a very flexible schedule so I am able to work around your pet care needs. I can accommodate to your schedule and your pet! I understand that every pet has unique needs—whether it’s medication, specific feeding times, or extra attention for training—and I’m happy to work around that. My priority is making sure your pet feels comfortable and loved, no matter what your schedule looks like. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, my approach is all about creating a familiar, comfortable environment for your dog. If they’re staying with me, they’ll enjoy a cozy, dog-friendly space where they’re treated like family—lots of playtime, regular walks, and plenty of cuddles. I always keep routines consistent, from meal times to nap schedules, to ensure they feel at ease. If I’m visiting your home, I make sure to follow your pet’s daily routine, keeping everything as normal as possible. I offer regular updates, so you can relax knowing your dog is happy, safe, and well cared for. No matter where the care happens, I’m dedicated to giving them the love, attention, and routine they need.
About: I have experience caring for a variety of pets for a couple of years, and will make sure your pet stays comfortable in their own environment. I am someone who loves routines and I am very dependable. What sets me apart is my patience and my attention to detail. I will take time to get to know your pet, because they deserve to feel comfortable while their favorite person is away. I have a set schedule at my part-time job as a runner for a local firm, and college classes, but everything is the same week by week, so my schedule is very consistent. For this summer, I will be able to drop by anytime before 9 am and after 5 pm on Monday and Tuesday, or anytime before 9:00 am or after 11:30 pm Wednesday and Thursday! Friday-Sunday is completely free, and nights are always open unless I’m out of town! I will try my best to be there. I want your pet to feel as comfortable as possible! Any feeding schedule, walk routine, house rules, or fun personalities will be accommodated to my best effort. I know that pets can often get stressed when things change, and I will try my hardest to keep their usual habit and routine flowing smoothly. I’m happy to send updates of how much fun we’ll be having!

“Taylor was Great from the moment I met her you can tell she really loved dogs . She was very attentive and also detailed on the walk times what my dog loved anything extra she needed to do . She took pictures each day and even let me talk to my dog on the inside ring camera . She cleaned up and if I could give her 6 stars or more I would . I will be booking her for every trip i take where I need a reliable loving dog walker to care for my dog . Taylor is the Best ❤️”

“Zoe was great with Polly - and I know that Polly appreciated the walks and interaction while still getting new to her new home. Zoe was also flexible on meeting before the Dog Walking to get to know Polly. Thanks Zoe!!”

About: I am super flexible and comfortable with dog care. I currently have an energetic young german shepherd so I understand the importance of dogs getting lots of exercise so that they can relax throughout the day. The main breeds I have experience with are Labs/Retrievers, German Shepherds, Beagles, Mixed Breed herding dogs, and Horses! I understand when dogs want to play and when they need their own space to relax. I currently have a german shepherd that I exercise twice a day either by walking, hiking, fetching or chasing hose water. Typically, I do one of these activities in the morning and one in the evening. My dog is free fed throughout the day, but I am familiar with dogs that prefer the routine of scheduled feeding or don't have self control, so I am comfortable following the routine that the dog is used to. I have a great walkable neighborhood, but I am very familiar with great places to walk and hike with dogs throughout the city. I am a grad student with lots of flexibility so my schedule is different from week to week, during the summer I will have lots of time each day to spend with your pup, but during the year I will provide excersize but less one-on-one time. I have a fenced in yard and a 1900 square foot home with hard surfaced floors. I don't allow my dogs on furniture, but if your dog is used to it, that is not currently a concern. My fences are sturdy and chain link, and about four feet tall. I prefer dogs that are crate trained overnight, and am happy to provide my own crates for them to sleep in. If they are not, I would happy to set up a play pen environment for them to be in!

About: Hi, I’m Aly! My house was never empty growing up—I was raised in a home full of cats, which taught me how to respect and care for even the pickiest feline personalities. At the same time, I’ve always been the go-to dog walker for my friends and family, and I've recently taken that passion professional. Currently, I’m active on Wag!, where I’ve completed multiple successful walks and have already secured a repeat client who trusts me with their dog’s daily exercise. I’m excited to expand to Rover to offer that same high level of care to both dog and cat owners in the Tuscaloosa area! As a flexible independent worker, my schedule is my own, which means I can easily prioritize your pet’s routine! Whether it’s a mid-day check-in or a last-minute visit, I have the freedom to be there when you can’t. When I’m not hanging out with your pets, you’ll usually find me curled up with a book or learning a new skill. Since I value a calm and relaxed environment, I’m the perfect match for your pet who enjoy a peaceful presence or a quiet companion to sit with them while they nap. I focus on providing personalized care that matches your pet’s unique energy level. Whether I’m visiting for a drop-in or staying overnight, my priority is maintaining the routine that makes them feel safe and happy.
About: I have always loved being around and taking care of animals. I currently have two dogs of my own and am responsible for feeding, grooming, and playing with them. Both of my babies come with their own special needs (one is deaf and the other has seizures) so I am well equipped to deal with any disabilities that may require special attention. I would love the chance to spend time with your babies! I am home from college and am available all day! Would love to spend time with your baby whenever you need someone to watch them! I will love on your baby with everything I have. I am incredibly reliable, trustworthy, and flexible. Any and all instructions you leave for me will be followed with the utmost care to keep your little buddy happy!
About: I’m 20, a nursing student, and basically training to take care of humans while currently specializing in pets. I’ve grown up with animals my whole life, hamsters, fish, and a full lineup of dogs including Labs, Yorkies, Dachshunds, Toy Poodles, and German Shepherds, so I’m no stranger to zoomies, attitude, or dramatic feeding schedules. My nursing school brain makes me weirdly good at routines, staying calm under pressure, and noticing every little detail. I’m great with puppies who think everything is a toy, seniors who move at their own pace, and pets who just want emotional support and snacks. I also send updates and pics, because if I don’t over explain what your pet is doing all day, am I even responsible? Your pet will be safe, loved, slightly over-attended to, and probably a little spoiled! I work part-time, so I fit pet care into my schedule around my shifts and keep things flexible. I’m good at managing my time, so I can stay consistent with walks, feedings, and check-ins while making sure each pet gets plenty of attention and care. In my client’s home, I stick closely to whatever routine the pet is already used to so they feel comfortable and not stressed. I handle feeding, walks, playtime, and any meds if needed, and I make sure they always have clean water and a clean space. I also spend time with them so they’re not just being checked on, but actually getting attention and care. I follow instructions carefully and keep owners updated so they know everything is going smoothly.
“I high recommend Rachel, she was outstanding! She provided great photos and updates while we were out of town and adjusted the walk schedule based on the summer temperatures and our dog ability to walk long distances. She agreed to do a pre-visit to ensure all communication was clear. Her communication was quick and responsive to me each step along the way. We will definitely book her again. Thanks Rachel!!!”

I make sure pets are fed, exercised, and feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I treat every pet like they are my own and always pay attention to their needs and routines. I am a full-time student at the University of Alabama, but I have a flexible schedule that allows me to care for pets throughout the week. About: My passion for pets and their mental well-being started early. Since 2019, my dad and I have volunteered at animal shelters, walking dogs and house training them to help them find loving homes. Now, as a college freshman, I’m continuing my mission to give back to the community and support animals as they grow. With two dogs of my own I trained and experience raising a litter of puppies, I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, loved, and engaged. When your pets are with me, they’ll get more than just care—they’ll enjoy fun agility activities, positive interaction, and, most importantly, safety. I am currently a fully time student, along with involved into on campus clubs and volunteers at the Hospital, but, I still make time to take care of animals at my local animal shelter. Your pet’s safety is my top priority. My home provides a secure, pet-friendly environment where your furry friend can relax, play, and feel at ease. I ensure all spaces are free from hazards, with secure fencing and locked gates for outdoor activities.
About: I’ve always had a love for dogs! Since I haven’t been able to get a dog of my own, I decided to start dogsitting, boarding, and walking. I will take care of your pets as if they were my own. We will go to the park, play, and take naps together. I am very patient, loving, and engaged. Your dogs will be in a safe space, and be treated just as you would treat them. I believe I am different from other sitters and walkers because I am flexible, and very understanding. Everyone has things that come up and we all want the very best for our animals. Allow me to give your dogs a fun time, feel safe and protected, and allow you to get your business handled.
About: Hi furbaby parents! 🐕❤️ I know having to get sitter service, drop-in's or walks scheduled for your baby can be stressful nowadays. It's also hard to know who is the best fit, until you try. Life can be busy & demanding at times, & I understand the importance of finding the right one who will take great care of your baby. 🐶♥️ Being raised in the country with several furbabies, of various sizes with my grandma who was also an absolute furbaby-lover! So it just comes natural to me. Bc to me, they are our babies, our children & I have 30+ years experience of caring for them. Like us, they each have their own likes, dislikes, quirks & personalities. I have furkids myself & my house is setup for them- I just do the feeding, loving, treating, playing, replenish supplies & cleaning!🐶🥰 I have furbaby beds in several rooms, gates between doorways so in case someone wants to be alone, I can accommodate, or if your baby needs time to warm up to a new place, thats another reason to have gates, for them to meet & greet at their own pace. I just don't like the idea of having to stay in kennels, like at the vet! I have a whole playroom for furbaby friends with plenty of toys, beds & a fenced in backyard for supervised potty & play! My babies love everyone, but I know not everyone else's pups love the same things. I do understand how important the care for your baby is! Its important for them all feel safe & comfortable. I have kennels if needed, which we rarely use, with a spare room if needed. So if one wants to nap quietly & another wants to run & play, its no problem at all. *I can do boarding in my home, sitter service, stop by for drop-in visit & feed/water, potty & play, or stop by & take them for a walk. I can stop by for kitty care, but cant board Ms/Mr Kitty at my house, sorry. *Ater hours pickup/drop off is no problem. My furkids are neutered/ spayed, fully vaccinated & get monthly heartworm/hookwork flea/tick prevention 💊 Prevention & good health is very important to me, as I would hope yours is taken care of also. They love to play, & get along great with other furbabies! Your baby is in good hands here, & will have plenty of playtime & treats; OR if we just want to nap, we love that too! 😊 ✨️Message me & let me know what days/times you need. Lots of love to go around here. As mentioned, after hours is no problem for me, just let me know the Correct Dates/Times.🥰 ***FIRST TIME CLIENTS: Safety for all in important. Let's set up a quick meet & greet Prior to your baby's stay/care- especially for those "last minute needs"- emergencies happen. That way, I can get better acquainted with your baby & you, and so your baby isn't meeting me as a stranger on our first day of stay. **We will meet in a Public/Safe place. Thanks & hope to see you & your babies soon! 🥰UPDATE: Rover makes 20% of all earnings, I offer discounted or locked in rates for my Repeat clients or Regulars; I even do some private pay clients. I take care of furkids a little more "extra" than many furparents, I've been told! But to me that's a compliment! Bc being furbaby lover, I believe in real loving care, not just meeting basic needs. 🐕 🐈 🦮 🐈⬛️ **[PLEASE READ ALL- Including note under "A Typical Day".] Thanks!🐶❤️ I work locally & have recent changes in my schedule which gives me more availability. I also have my own precious furbabies at home, so it's not a new task. I would manage the same way I do for my own. So let me know what you need & I will get you on my calendar! And Thank you for inquiring with me. And much thanks to my current Regulars & for all the wonderful comments & reviews! I appreciate you all so much & I'm always here, so book early, as I only keep a few babies at a time, for adequate, attentive care! I have a treated fenced in back yard for our Supervised play & potty & security cameras in & outside my home for safety. Update: Please ensure your furbabies are up to date on vaccines. Cameras on and within property for safety. *I thought this should go in the safety area: I'm no stranger to the area. I'm originally from Fayette County. I have family here in Northport, Coker & Tuscaloosa. So, I am a lifelong local to the area, and have a complete background attached to my profile & also have updated Government Clearance. So rest assured, your baby is safe with me.
“Tanner is great with our two energetic dogs! He is always kind, on time, and very reliable. I can tell he cares for our dogs by how they act every time they see him, happy and excited!”

About: I have a strong love for all dogs. They have a special place in my heart and will treat them as my own. I may live in an apartment, but I’ll make sure your pup(s) have a great time. I will do a potty break or a nice walk/play time every 3-4hrs. I’ll make sure your pup will feel at home! I currently work two jobs. M-F my days are usually 8-4:30. I’ll take your pup out for a nice walk before work and when I come back a nice play day! My work schedule on the weekend is usually Friday & Sat 7pm-3am or Sat & Sun 7A-3P. Lake Forest dog parents share their Rover experiences
I can’t say enough good things about Savannah. My pugs love her! She does what she says she will do, and she takes them on nice long walks. She also spends time playing with them. She makes the booking and planning so easy. We use her on a weekly basis. I feel better about going to work when I know she is taking care of my pups.

Calynn has been amazing with Bruno! He’s very particular and cautious with new people, but he liked her instantly, which says everything. She always gives thorough updates after each visit and lets me know exactly how he did, which I really appreciate. She’s patient, attentive, and clearly takes the time to make him feel comfortable. I feel totally at ease knowing Bruno is in her care. Highly recommend!
