“Jeffrey (Ben) did a wonderful job house siting for our two pups (both of whom are a little high-maintenance). About: I've been caring for cats and dogs since I was 8 years old, starting with neighbors' pets and quickly becoming the kid who brought home lost dogs to make sure they were safe until reunited with their families. In high school, I helped raise a friend’s puppy while their family went through a long-term emergency, and I had two cats of my own growing up. During the COVID-19 lockdown, I fostered cats and kittens—including a mama cat with three newborns, which was definitely a highlight. I even cared for a foster recovering from an injury, which involved giving injections and monitoring their healing. Fostering was a perfect fit while I was in college and couldn’t yet commit to pets of my own. After graduation, I adopted two sweet cats, Poppy and Dory, who are now about 2.5 years old. I’m comfortable with pets of all temperaments. I'm calm and patient with shy or nervous animals and love being active and playful with those who have extra energy. I’ll always meet your pet where they are—whether that means tossing toys around the yard or quietly lying nearby to earn their trust. I also have experience administering oral medications to both cats and dogs, as well as giving injections when needed. I understand dog and cat body language well and always take the time to make sure your pet feels safe and cared for. I’ll be happy to send regular updates and photos, so you can feel confident that your pet is in good hands while you're away. I typically work about 8 hours a day as a PhD student, but I have flexibility in my schedule—especially if needs are communicated in advance. I’m available for daytime drop-in visits, walks, and overnight care. With a little planning, I can usually adjust my day to make sure your pet gets the care and attention they need. I have two cats of my own at home, but my husband is happy to care for them when I’m away, so your pet will always be my top priority during visits or overnight stays. When caring for pets in their own home, I do my best to maintain their usual routines so they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in a familiar environment. I follow any instructions closely—whether it’s feeding schedules, medication, walks, or playtime preferences—and I always check in if anything seems unusual. I take time to read each pet’s body language and respond calmly, especially with those who are shy or nervous. For more energetic pets, I’m happy to play and provide plenty of activity and engagement. I also treat your home with the utmost respect, making sure everything is clean and secure when I leave or during an overnight stay. Safety is a top priority—I double-check doors, gates, and food access, and I’m careful during walks to avoid hazards or overwhelming situations. I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos so you always know how your pet is doing and can feel confident they’re in good hands.

“Allison was very easy to work with, our pups really liked her, and she was very communicative while we were away. I felt at ease while on our trip! Thanks, Allison!”

About: I have taken care of and loved animals since early childhood, getting my first dog at 6 years old. My father goes on work trips several times a month and I am able to balance taking care of my dog with my college and work schedule. I take Abby, my current labrador, to the park and lake often, prioritizing her health and love for the outdoors. I am a college student, but have plenty of time to take care of your pets. I am free in the evenings on weekdays and on weekends. In my client's home, I will treat their pets and space with respect. On top of basic needs such as feeding them and giving them water, I will play with them outside ( if there is an area for that) and shower them with attention
About: Having my own cats means I really get what pets need, plus I bring real love and experience with both cats and dogs—so your pets get care that feels like family, not just a job! I fit pet care into my routine by feeding my pets twice a day and playing with them every day. Having a regular schedule helps me keep my pets happy and healthy without it feeling like a hassle. When caring for pets in my home, I make sure they feel comfortable by giving them plenty of attention, feeding them on time, and keeping their space clean and safe. For clients’ homes, I follow their specific instructions closely—feeding schedules, playtime, and any special needs—while making sure the pets feel relaxed and cared for in their own environment.
“Deshun was THE ABSOLUTE BEST. We had him take care of our little Squishy who recently had ACL surgery and was recently diagnosed with a neurological condition. He took care of our Squishy for a whole week and was absolutely fantastic. Consistent photo snd video updates throughout the stay. Made our vacation 100% worry free.
