About: Hi I’m Felicity! I’ve been around dogs of all sizes and breeds pretty much my entire life. I currently have 2 dogs of my own, I have had a western hog nose and a chameleon at one point. I offer In-home pet sitting, Overnight stays, Daily visits (up to 1 hour), Feeding and medication administration, stimulating play, whatever helps your fur baby. I work 6-4:30 Monday through Friday at midfield animal hospital and get a lunch break every day, a reliable car for transportation if needed. I also am familiar with most of the dog parks in the area if that is of interest, and I know great place for stimulating walks. I have extra crates, extra treats, lots of play mats, treat mats, and feeding mats to provide extra stimulation when needed. I know it’s not easy for you to be away from your babies, think of how they must feel.

About: I have experience with my own 2 dogs, a chocolate lab and a german sherpard. As well as helping friends and family when they need a pet sitter for their dogs or cats. I have limited experience with turtles, birds and lizards. I am currently a student, I am usually in class 8-12, so I will spend the afternoon, evening, or weekends open for pet sitting or drop-in visits. I have a fenced-in backyard for my two dogs. They are crate-trained; however, they are trusted to be in the home alone. They are well cared for, love people and other dogs.

About: I’m 39 years old and there has been a pet in my life since I was 7. I’m an only child and my pets quickly became like siblings (we didn’t fight like them, promise). I became the primary caregiver for my mom’s two senior mini dachshunds a few years ago and was able to get them crate and pee-pad trained. One of them crossed the rainbow bridge sadly, but my other little old lady is doing well. I fall in love with every animal I see and I would love the chance to fall in love with yours. I’m currently working a full time second shift job (1pm-11pm) so I have the mornings completely open to check on your babies. I’m also a night owl and have no problem doing a nighttime check after work or begin an overnight stay. If you have a fenced yard, I will let them outside and let them do their business before tossing a ball or toy or running around with them to get the zoomies out. If no yard, then I will take them out on a leash for a walk then some playtime inside. Food and water will be checked and refilled; cuddles will be provided at will. :)

Emilia is fantastic!!! She was responsive and communicated every visit ! Pictures of every dog every visit!! Emilia was able to book on short notice , showed up early for our meet and greet and communicated incredibly well throughout the stay. We are very grateful we found Emilia and I will absolutely book with her again. The best part of working with Emilia is she truly loves the animals she cares for. This is is so helpful as a dog mom who has separation anxiety! I love knowing my pups are having fun and getting lots of love when I have to be away. Also, my pack is a a little challenging ( everyone has their own personality) and Emilia picked up on all their silly ways right away. Big pulling dog that lunges at bikes but loves people? No problem for Emilia! Strong pullers who also like tug of war- not a problem. Thanks so much Emilia , your visits with my pack made such a difference when I had to be away. Thank you!

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 5 and have had all ages so I have had experience in how handle them all. i do not go to school until after 9am and I am able to be home by 11:30am Monday thru Friday. I can be home all day Saturday and Sundays. Monday-Wednesday I typically work but have a flexible schedule and can change it if needed. So this will allow me to be the only person caring for your animal. In my home we let our cats roam and have their bowls out so they can eat whenever. If you need me to keep your cat on a schedule I can also do that. We feed our dog morning and night. I let him out in the morning and let him stay outside in our backyard/deck until I or someone else get home.

Sara responded quickly to my messages and my same day request to check on my dog. She helped me with the mess my dog had made chewing up a floor mat. Sara messaged me to tell me what happened and I was able to get her help with everything that day. I’m so appreciative that she was able to help me out that day.

Whether it’s walks, drop-ins, playtime, feedings, litter box scooping, or even baths, I’ve got it covered. I don’t do boarding or keep pets at my place, but I’m happy to help however I can in your home. I’ve got years of hands-on experience and also run a rescue, so I’m used to handling all kinds of animals, personalities, and needs. I treat every pet like family and always aim to make things easy, safe, and stress-free — for you and your animals. Let me know what you need! Pet care is nonstop for me — it’s what I do every single day. My routine revolves around walks, drop-ins, baths, enrichment time, and everything in between. I’m used to being on the move and keeping up with each pet’s schedule. This isn’t just a side gig — it’s a big part of my life, and I’m fully committed to giving every pet the time and attention they deserve. I provide care in my clients’ homes where pets are most comfortable and relaxed. I stick to their usual routine as much as possible — whether that means feeding, walks, playtime, or giving medication. I’m big on building trust with each animal and making sure they feel safe while their person is away. I always leave things clean, double-check food and water, and send updates so you know your pet is in good hands.

About: Hi! I’ve been pet sitting for over 10 years and have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. From energetic puppies to senior pets, I always make sure every animal feels safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I’m extremely reliable, communicative, and treat every pet like my own. I also have plenty of references from happy pet owners who trust me with their furry family members. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, cuddles, or extra patience and care, I’d love to help! I am currently in graduate school pursuing my doctorate in Occupational Therapy. I’ve been pet sitting for over 10 years and have experience caring for animals of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy, patient, and dependable to care for your pets while you’re away. I’m very reliable, communicative, and treat every animal like my own. I’m also available for overnight stays to help keep your pets comfortable and maintain their normal routine. I have plenty of references from happy pet owners and would love the opportunity to care for your pets! When caring for pets in clients’ homes, I prioritize safety, routine, and respect for both the animals and the home environment. I follow all owner instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medication needs, walking routines, and any behavioral considerations. I make sure doors, gates, and crates are always secured to prevent escapes, and I supervise pets carefully during all interactions and outdoor time. I’m attentive to each animal’s comfort level and body language so I can respond appropriately and reduce stress, especially in new or unfamiliar situations. I also keep the home clean and organized, cleaning up after pets, refreshing water bowls, and ensuring the space is left just as I found it. About: Growing up, I always had several dogs in my home, and have even adopted two of my own. Over the years I’ve gained a lot of experience working with hundreds of animals with a wide range of breeds and pets of all ages and sizes. I have experience taking care of dogs anywhere from feeding to walking to playing (etc) for any age range and any size. As mentioned in the title, I have experience working at Birmingham’s local Humane Society and in that time learned a lot about animal behavior. This will help me ensure an animal’s comfort level, safety and trust during my time caring for them. I believe the key to taking care of animals is showing them genuine love and patience. I love animals and do this work to make some money on the side, but also because it brings me so much joy! All pets are considered family, so it’s guaranteed to treat them as such. Your pet’s happiness and safety are top priority so I aim to create a fun and stress free environment for everyone. I’m currently working side hustle jobs that give me the benefit of working with a very flexible schedule. Whatever your needs will be for me to properly care for for animals will be easily catered to during my time caring for your pet/pets. During my stay at a client’s home, I will be able to cater to the pet’s regular routine. I also am comfortable and experienced giving dogs medication if they are on a vet prescribed medicine. I am happy to discuss any needs of the household and go over any expectations of my tile in your space.

About: My patience, responsibility, and attention to detail. As a childhood cancer survivor, she has a deep sense of compassion and maturity beyond her years. She is comfortable caring for puppies, senior dogs, administering basic medications, sticking to routines, and making pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. Pet care would fit into my daily and weekly routine because I am responsible and able to manage my time well. I would make sure the pet is fed, exercised, groomed, and given attention every day. Weekly, I would help clean up after the pet, restock supplies, and make sure it stays healthy and comfortable. I care for pets in my home or a client’s home by feeding them on time, providing fresh water, exercising them, and giving them attention and affection daily. I also clean up after them, keep their space safe and comfortable, and follow any special instructions from the owner to make sure the pet stays healthy, happy, and well cared for.

Love that she was punctual, communicated well with us, and was reliable. Thanks Davonna... we will definitely be back in touch when we need a sitter again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Maylene with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
