About: My first friend was an old bulldog mastiff. My next one was a jack russell terrier. The list went on and on until I graduated college and took in my first little mutt. I've always had dogs, I've always found companionship and comfort in their presence. Growing up along side them, I've learned a lot about their behaviors. Just like people, every dog is so different! And it is such an exciting adventure to get to meet a new one and learn about them! If I walk your dog or do a drop in visit, know that I am devoted to making them as happy as possible! My senior chihuahua is blind and most owners don't allow another dog to be brought, so that is why I can't offer overnight stays. About: I’m 39 years old and there has been a pet in my life since I was 7. I’m an only child and my pets quickly became like siblings (we didn’t fight like them, promise). I became the primary caregiver for my mom’s two senior mini dachshunds a few years ago and was able to get them crate and pee-pad trained. One of them crossed the rainbow bridge sadly, but my other little old lady is doing well. I fall in love with every animal I see and I would love the chance to fall in love with yours. I’m currently working a full time second shift job (1pm-11pm) so I have the mornings completely open to check on your babies. I’m also a night owl and have no problem doing a nighttime check after work or begin an overnight stay. If you have a fenced yard, I will let them outside and let them do their business before tossing a ball or toy or running around with them to get the zoomies out. If no yard, then I will take them out on a leash for a walk then some playtime inside. Food and water will be checked and refilled; cuddles will be provided at will. :)

Because of my experience with animals of different personalities and temperaments, I pay close attention to body language, comfort levels, triggers, and routines to help pets feel secure and relaxed. Whether caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining consistency, cleanliness, supervision, exercise, enrichment, hydration, feeding schedules, and emotional comfort. I also have reliable transportation available for park visits, walks, vet appointments, grooming appointments, or unexpected situations if needed. I believe pets thrive when they feel understood, comfortable, and genuinely cared for — not just watched. About: I love animals, I have owned various furry friends throughout my life. Cats, dogs, bunnies, fish, etc. I work with animals on a daily basis. Providing for animals is my dedication. I have worked for pet stores and handled tons of different pets with personalities all different than the last. I have a puppy of my own whom I currently training, sit, potty training, lay, and wait. She’s currently understanding sit and stay. Great progress! Dealing with animals is healing and I try to fill my weekly schedule with caring for pets. Including after hours for my current job and to also help individuals who need assistance. I always take my time to deal with animals in their own environment. It is their home and I will always respect the pet, and let parent, since it is their area of living. Cleanliness, and respect, is always #1!

“David was great, he was very caring for my high energy Golden Retriever and kind the whole experience. He also took care of my older miniature Dachshund, and they were returned to us so happy and well exercised. He accommodated us even though my request was very last minute, and sent pictures and videos daily. If you are looking for someone who will treat your pups like their own family then look no further than David. I am not easily impressed whatsoever, but I cannot speak highly enough of him and will be returning in the future! Thank you so much!”

“If I could leave 10 out of 5 stars I would! Amanda was wonderful and we could not have asked for a better experience. Besides being kind, gentle, and thoughtful, she was very caring and gave our dog lots of attention. We had multiple pictures and videos, which were so nice. She took Oliver on walks every day, not down the street, but to a park every day. She also fed him home cooked chicken (with my approval) to try to get him to eat (picky eater!). I know Oliver had a great time and it was so nice not worrying about our little boy! We will definitely use her again! Thank you Amanda!”
