About: Hi my name is Miriam! I love animals from dogs to cats to snakes to hamsters.🩷🩵 I’ve been helping care for dogs and cats since I was young. Especially for this one woman who my parents had known since they moved into the neighborhood at the time of my birth. She had 3 dogs and 2 cats (and 2 fish). I would walk them however many times a week she needed, more than usual when I was on breaks from school. I would occasionally dog/cat-sit at her house but not overnight. The dogs ranged from age 5-15, Tristan “the middle child” I remember the best and he was the biggest and most energetic of the three. I thoroughly enjoyed my time taking care of her animals! My elementary school had us take care of a hamster as a class and my middle school (same school) had us take care of two bunnies and raise baby chickens as a class as well. A summer camp I went to for 4-5 consecutive summers, Brown Academy, had time carved out for us to spend time with a variety of animals. I was also usually in that classroom during my free time as well. I cat-sat for a family in my neighborhood as well last year over the summer, brother cats in their teen years (SO CUTE). I also recently just finished dog sitting for a family friend who lives 15 minutes away in Old Town. She has two Shih Tzus who I made sure to walk twice a day, keep fed, clean, and play with during that week. :) I have always had a passion for animals, I believe they are so beautiful and deserve the world, I hope you will consider me to care for yours! I am a university student on summer break which ends August 20th! I currently don't have a job and am looking for animal care opportunities! Upon being given instructions pertaining to where your dog can and can't go, do or eat I will make sure to abide by those. I am quick on my feet when it comes to solving any problems that may pop up. I will also be in good communication with you depending on how often and in what way you would like to be updated/informed and I will strive to connect to you and your pets!

I no longer do overnight stays but I'm happy to visit more than once a day as my schedule allows. I am only available to take care of your pets in your home. I am very happy to take them for a walk, when needed.

I’m a college student taking online and in person courses through the local community college, so I have a pretty open schedule. Working a traditional job in college can be quite stressful, so I’m giving this a try! I have been working in other people’s homes for several years babysitting and pet sitting. I’m happy to clean dishes, take out trash, carry in mail and packages, and any other simple tasks. I always try my best to clean after myself and the fur babies each visit!

About: I’m completely comfortable administering medication oral, injectable and topical. Nail trimming, ear cleaning or needing to be brushed? Not a problem! Every pet deserves and experience! Working part time as a veterinary assistant I have am free on weekends whether that be a stop in or a weekend getaway. But your needing a mid day stop? Still no issue, i’m very flexible and willing to work! Every pet is different, i have a clear understanding of body language in both feline and canine. If your pet needs a little extra help getting up those stairs i’m right behind them!

I am available daily or weekly, for walks, taking care of pets while you are out of town, playtime, cuddling, love and much much more! The utmost care will be given to the safety of you pet while giving them the care and loving time they need to thrive and flourish.

I am an avid dog lover, that has over 15+ years of experience with animals. 2 years out of my experience had been working for an amazing animal clinic, who have taught me a lot and how to care for our animals. Our animals are just like children, they are our fur babies! My love for animals helps me bond with every animal I meet and treat them with the upmost affection, respect and love. Being a past veterinary assistant has showed me different things to look for if an animal isn’t feeling well and how to respond. Having this experience your animal is in safe hands and will be taken great care of. I enjoy creating new bonds with animals and their Hooman! ❤️ (Last name change "Glem") I am currently working with my family, my hours are normally in the PT range but can be subjected to change. Mon-Fri 8-4 however working in my family business I can make adjustments to my schedule as needed. I live with my fiance (Glem), our almost 2 yr old rescue & 1 roommate in our 3 story townhouse. We are an end corner house so we do have a decent-sized unfenced grass area. Where our house is located in our neighborhood, directly in front of our house is a park with lots of great space to walk, run & play. Where we live is very dog & kid-friendly.

When I’m available, I prioritize consistent, reliable visits and make sure your pets get the attention and care they deserve. Katy W.

“Katy has been responsible even prior to being a pet owner herself. She always has an attention to detail and a kind heart. I have trusted my dogs in her care before, and I would again! Katy loves dogs and will be the best sitter for your pups!”

Kendall O.
“We highly recommend Kendall O as a companion and walker for your beloved dog. We entrusted Kendall with our own dear Abby. Kendall was wonderful with our four-legged family member. She is gentle but firm with dogs and earns their trust and respect. And they clearly enjoy their time with her (just watch the tails!). Our Abby was always excited to see Kendall, and in fact, we asked Kendall to be with us when it was time to say our final goodbyes to Abby. We are delighted to offer this testimonial for Kendall O.”

Miriam M.
“Miri is exceptionally organized, conscientious and caring which makes her a great pet sitter. When she was asked to take care of our two cats, she asked good questions and executed our directions well while we were away. Our one cat needs a lot of attention and when we are away for a time, he lets us know how unhappy that makes him with lots of meowing. Miri gave him excellent attention and when we returned, he was very content and happy with no more than the usual meows.”

Kristen L.

“Kristen is always reliable and communicative with walking our doggy. Will 100% continue to request Kristen’s services!”

“I use Cailynn EVERY time I go out of town, in fact, I would plan my vacations around her schedule, she’s so great. She takes excellent care of my Belgian Mal AND my 9 chickens. Before my cat passed she’d handle him too. She is, without a doubt, the most caring, and attentive pet sitter. I have no hesitations leaving my pets with her. She ensures my animals all have fresh food, clean areas and lots of treats! I cannot say enough positive attributes about her. OH and she sends fun videos and pictures of my animals when I am gone which make me so happy!”
