About: I have taken care of both dogs and cats as a pet sitter in other people's homes. I attended vet tech school before switching to human healthcare. I have befriended extremely shy pets with love and patience. I have even raised my own 20-year-old cat from a 3-week-old kitten. I am currently between jobs, as I just moved back to Maryland and I am finding my place in the healthcare industry again. All the more time to spend with your furbabies! I am currently available any time of the day or night to take care of both dogs and cats. I will happily come over to feed your cat or dog, and take your dog out to potty, play with them, or even things like provide comfort if they get upset during fireworks or a thunderstorm. I am always sure to leave the home exactly as I find it (unless the pets need cleaning up after, of course!). I always double check that doors are locked, and will send you updates as frequently as you'd like.

“We were so thankful that Danielle was able to let Sammy out while we were out of town. She took him on his usual route and fed him for us as requested. Would book again for sure!”

“Curtis has been walking our puppy for a few months now, she is always excited to see him. We appreciate his notes that capture our little girls personality and his flexibility to accommodate our changing schedule. Would highly recommend!”

About: Hi, I’m Laura! I grew up with dogs and have recently come to love cats too (thanks to my apartment building’s no-dog policy…rude! But I get it.) I work from home and can often be available on short notice if you’re nearby. I genuinely enjoy the fun, good-natured company pets bring and am looking to build lasting relationships with both Doggies and Kitties and you! Their most important person. I’m open to all types of care— drop bys, walks, sitting—as I grow on Rover. Bonus: I’m great at belly rubs and scooping poop like a pro. I work full-time from home. Since I am new to Rover I am still figuring out my routine availability. Please ask for what you need and I am happy to talk it through to see how I can help. As a Mom I completely understand the importance of routine to keep your pet happy and healthy. Your rules are my rules! I would like to extend your care even when you can’t be there.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was old enough to know how to. I love all breeds of dogs and want to expand my knowledge! I’m willing and able to travel anywhere and everywhere. I have taken care of senior dogs, and even immobilized dogs that need extra care. I’m able to be flexible and available to take care of your pet whenever is needed! Please make sure to let me know at least 3 days in advance for drop in visits and at least 7 days in advance for house sitting. I would prefer not to watch dogs in my home as my roommate has a cat, and we aren’t sure how certain breeds will get along. I’m open to come by your house or just come by to walk and play outside. I will respect your house rules and abide by any boundaries you set!

“Maya was wonderful with my old gal, Bailey. Bailey has bladder cancer and as such, she has to stop to pee constantly. I can tell from the photos and the graciously long walks (she gave my sweet Bay some extra time) that Maya was patient and loving. Thank you so, so much.”

“Ashleigh was so good with my tender pawed reactive dog Charlie! Charlie took to Ashleigh right away and usually he is so wary. I trust Ashleigh to take good care of my pets!”

About: I've been surrounded by dogs my whole life - starting with an energetic Icelandic Sheepdog, followed by two lovable Golden Retrievers, and now a sweet Mini Goldendoodle. My years of hands-on experience have taught me how to care for dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I truly love the pure joy and unconditional love dogs bring, and I treat every pup like my own. I am compassionate, patient, trustworthy, and fully committed to making sure your dog feels safe, happy, and loved whenever you need me! I'm a full-time mental health therapist for children and teens, with afternoon and evening hours at work. I am available to support your pet in the early mornings or afternoons, and anytime on the weekends! Safety is my top priority - I never let dogs off-leash and I am always alert during walks and playtime. You can count on me to give your pup attentive, loving, and responsible care.

About: I have taken care of dogs of all different sizes and personalities for 6 years. My friends and family all turn to me when they need help with their pets! I have experience administering medication and learning how your dog likes to play! I am currently working part-time so I have plenty of time for your fur-babies! As long as you can work with me, I can go above and beyond to ensure your pets and your family are happy! I live in an apartment with my two 1-year-old cats who love all other animals and people! I have a fenced-in dog park in my complex. I love being outside and walking with any and all animals! I am comfortable with any fashion of pet-care so long as I am provided with specific instructions on how YOU care for your buddies. I like to maintain expectation and stability with the pets!

About: I've been the go-to pet sitter and dog walker for my neighborhood since I was 14. Whether you're friends, family, or friends of family, I always strive to give your pet the love and attention that I give my own fur babies. I am currently working full time, but am trying to transition to remote work to allow more flexibility with pet sitting. My evenings after 5:30pm and my weekends are completely open to any sort of pet sitting or dog walking need. I prefer to stay in the client's home in order to keep your pet as close to their regular schedule as possible. Of course, if that doesn't work then I can bring your pet to my house where they will be walked and played with the same way that I spoil my own dog.

About: I have over 30 years of experience, taking care of both cats and dogs. I currently am without any pets so I am looking to do this to help out other pet owners and to fill the void in my heart. My daily routine consists of a fair amount of time at home. I also have the capability of working at home if necessary. As well, I can come home during lunch in order to let pets outside. I live in a calm Street where walks are safe and easy. As well, I love a good long walk on the NCR Trail for dogs.

“I have known Chris for more than 20 years. She is an extremely responsible, intelligent, and compassionate person. All of my pets have always loved her--even ones that were usually too shy or skittish to allow anyone else near them. I consider my pets to be my children (in lieu of actual kids), and I trust Chris with their care with zero hesitation. Anyone who hires Chris for pet care would easily see not only how seriously she takes any job, but also how genuinely she loves all animals and gives them the best possible care.”

Laura B.
“Laura is a wonderful person with pets. She learned at a very young age how to handle dogs as our house always had one. At a proper age she started to watch other dogs and the "parents" were very comfortable with their pets. Laura would take them for walks and play ball, feed them and other items. As an adult she had her own dogs and loved the responsibly one needs to have. She also has two cats and they are so lovable. Laura is dependable, loveable, responsible and over all loves dogs and cats. Laura would be a great "Rover"!”

Madeleine W.
“Maddie has a giant soft spot in her heart for animals - especially dogs. Having grown up with Golden Retrievers, Labs and an a lovable lab/Bassett "hybrid", Maddie has always shown great care and affection for these four-legged friends. She is attentive to their needs and greatly enjoys just hanging out with them, playing, giving them affection and generally being a great companion. She is reliable and dedicated to the pets care. I believe she would be a great person to care for dogs.”

Julie was amazing! The app messed up my address and she was sent to the wrong place but still made sure to check on my little one while I was at work, was very communicative, and took her for an extra long walk. 10/10 would recommend and will be using her in the future!!
