“Maya was fantastic. She took such good care of our 3 kitties for 2 weeks. She went out of her way to make sure they were ok during the snowstorm and cold. She gives them attention (plays, grooms etc), and ensures they eat, have fresh water, checks their wellbeing. (Also the litterboxes were well maintained - she even put the garbage out) We are impressed - her compassionate care and love for our furries shows through everything she did — in addition she looks after your house (all is clean, plants were checked, etc…)- (we had water issue she reported immediately and helped clear) . She communicates frequently and keeps you posted — in a nutshell if you look for someone for your pet — we would not hesitate to recommend Maya and certainly hope she is available for our next trip. We could not be happier.”

About: I began seeking clients on Rover in the summer of 2025 as a way to make some more money for college and I love animals so I figured “why not!” - I found myself really bonding with every dog/cat I watched and cared for them as my own. I accept as many jobs as I possibly can because I understand the importance of having someone stay with your fur babies who knows how to care for them in all aspects. My 7 month old puppy died due to negligence from his pet sitter and got hit by a car. Due to that experience, I have shifted my focus to mainly Rover, hoping I can provide families with the comfort and assurance that I will care for their animals with the respect and love they all deserve. I have experience with all kinds of animals (even bunnies, horses, fish, and more!) I was a working student from the ages of 10-15 years old and have my own horse so big dogs don’t scare me. I know how to deal with skittish or aggressive dogs because I had to learn to groom my own goldendoodle as he got older and became unpredictable due to dementia. It is important for me to make sure the animals I look after feel heard, are never left alone for too long, and have fun during my time with them! Please feel free to reach out with any other questions!! I only have one other job exercising steeple chase horses in the early mornings so I have a lot of availability to make house visits or spend the day as much as you would need me to! I also love to go on walks and take hikes, so if I am looking after an Active dog it is no problem! If your dog likes to play with other dogs I have a fenced in yard and two other dogs of mine who are very friendly. I am very neat and organized so the chance of your animal eating something or getting into something they’re not supposed to is very slim.

About: I have raised two pups from just weeks old. Including bottle feeding my first puppy when I was 14. I certainly have a soft spot for our babies big or small. Mylo also plays very well with other dogs :) I work from home so taking care of an additional pet is no problem ! We usually go out first early in the morning , eat and start the day. About: I've had cats since I was a child and love dogs. I've never owned a dog, but I love to spend time with them and give them the attention they need. I am experienced in giving cats liquid medication and pills. I can schedule walks, and check-ins usually anytime in the morning and then after 4 pm in the afternoon on weekdays and usually whenever on weekends. I love walking and with a dog, it's even better. I also love to meet new kitties and can handle medication administration if needed as well. Having cats most of my life has provided me with much joy and respect for animals. About: I've always loved dogs, they are the BEST! Ever since our precious Bulldog, "Raisin", passed away in 2017, I have been enjoying the company of fur babies of all sizes/breeds/ages with in-home overnight/daycare sitting, continued training routines, grooming and walking for neighbors, family, friends, referrals, and fostering services. I know the time will be right when it's time to add a permanent fur baby in our lives again... but I have LOVED giving piece of mind to friends and family alike when it comes to caring for their pets. I have taken on low-maintenance to some who may come with more challenges, and love on them all the same. I have undergone training in past for dog walking and behavioral issues which has helped me to appreciate different dog breeds and embrace their personalities and attributes. I'm currently working in-between jobs and typically work-from-home full time. Aside from any social/errands/appts., school, sporting, or work event, I am home all day/night. I do not have a fenced in yard, so regularly walking on leash either "quick" breaks out front or large backyard, or long/short walks around the neighborhood is the normal (this depends on the age, breed, routine of individual pup). I typically only watch 1-2 dogs at a time, but this depends a lot on comfort of YOU and also hugely decided based on breed and learning their temperaments to see how well they will be accepting of additional shared furry companionship, or not ;-)

“Mann came back home nice and relaxed he didn’t even want to go for a walk which is not normal for him. He must have had plenty of exercise. I received pictures and updates everyday. I will definitely rebook again.”
