About: I have always loved being around dogs and other pets. From a young age, I assisted in caring for the pets of friends and family members. Some of my favorite childhood memories involve enjoying the fresh air and sunshine during walks with my friends' dogs. Eventually, my family got our own dog, and I enjoy caring for her and making sure she gets the best life she can have! I am working part-time, so on my days off I am looking for an opportunity to spend some time with animals who want some attention! I am willing to work with your schedule and provide the care that you need on a timeline that works for both of us. While I am not currently able to host pets, I am easily able to adapt to new environments in order to make sure that your pet is comfortable in their own home. It is my biggest priority that your pet is in a safe and warm environment, and I strive to ensure that all of your and your pet's needs are met!

About: Use my code JULIEL80305 for $20 off your first booking! I grew up with dogs (one husky, one Aussie Shepherd), and also dogsat on the side back home in Denver. Altogether, I have at least 20 years of experience with high energy breeds. These days I'm here in DC, where I live with my boyfriend and our corgi Romeo. Romeo is highly socialized, very friendly and will treat your baby as part of the pack! Trust that your puppy will have a friend to play with, and plenty of outside time (I live next to two dog parks, and tons of wooded trails). I'm 100% remote, and often use the time to walk my doggy around the neighborhood and take him to the dog park or wooded trails nearby. My boy is very active, so we're outside at least 4-5x per day. That said, your fur baby will get lots of fun outdoor time! My family dogs have had health challenges such as epilepsy, respiratory, food allergy and back issues -- all that to say, I'm comfortable adhering to pill schedules, strict dietary requirements, and making physical accommodations for your pup during their stay. I'm very attentive towards doggos in my care, and strive to provide an environment that is safe & enriching for them!

“Kaitlyn took wonderful care of our two cats over the holiday week. We received multiple pictures every day and constant status updates on our little gremlins nefarious activities (there’s always at least one). Thank you Kaitlyn!”

“Rubens took great care checking in on our cat, Seeger, while we were out of town for the holiday. We looked forward to the daily updates and pictures, some of which were quite beautiful portraits of Seeger! Rubens was very easy to communicate with and very thorough when asking for care instructions. Seeger appeared to take to Rubens right away during our initial visit to hand over house keys, and we loved knowing that Seeger was in good hands and having lots of play and cuddles with Rubens while we were out of town!”

“Our dogs felt comfortable with her immediately. Michael is kind and gentle and the perfect dog sitter. She goes out of her way to accommodate even unusual requests, I.e. she took care of our pups in our camper van while we went to an appointment in DC and even helped us find a parking space!!! We highly recommend her !!!”

About: Lilibet is a college student and rugby player located in Tenleytown. She can dog-sit, house-sit, and most importantly has a car to drive your pup to their favorite spot. She has over six years of experience and for a variety of animals: a three legged Malamute Husky, a cranky Chihuahua, an eccentric Boston Terrier, two wild french bull dogs, and the occasional cat or puppy. Lilibet is a full time college student, but luckily is available weekends and weekdays around her full time job. Her schedule varies per week, so please reach out with specific dates and times when making a request. National Holidays are not usually available, but if interested please reach out. She’s had experience with it all, and is more than happy to send as many photos, or updates as needed!

“We are so happy we found Mira! We were able to book her for an impromptu weekend trip. She checked-in on our dog and cat daily for feedings and walks. We received updates & pictures for each visit, which we really appreciated. We will absolutely be making Mira our regular pet sitter/walker. Our pets give her two paws up! Thank you Mira!”

About: As a student living in Arlington and attending Georgetown University School of Medicine near by, I have an extremely flexible schedule and love to help out with whatever needs you may have. I have pet sat many animals in my neighborhood, including both cats and dogs. I love playing with all types of dogs and hope to get to know them well. I love to run in the area, so if you want your pup to get a little extra exercise, I can help with that too. I am easy to get in touch with and can change my schedule to whatever may work for you. I truly love spending time with animals, and I hope to provide nothing but the best for your pet.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my deep sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and calm, reliable presence around animals of all types. I have a background in environmental education and service through AmeriCorps, where I developed patience, strong communication skills, and a love for caring for others, including our four-legged friends. I’m especially good with dogs that need consistency and routine, including puppies who are still learning and senior dogs who need a gentle, attentive touch. I treat every pet like they’re my own, and I take pride in being dependable, clean, and respectful of your home and your pet’s needs. Whether it’s getting the zoomies out on a long walk or keeping an older dog comfortable and relaxed, I’m here to help your pets feel safe and loved while you’re away. I like having structure in my day, and pet care fits naturally into that. Whether it’s morning walks, feeding routines, or playtime, I enjoy building my schedule around giving pets the attention they need. I’m active and responsible, so making time for walks, check-ins, and quality time with animals feels easy and rewarding. Plus, being around animals helps me de-stress and stay grounded—so it’s something I genuinely look forward to, not just a task to check off. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or a client’s, I focus on creating a calm, safe, and comfortable environment that matches the pet’s routine as closely as possible. I pay close attention to feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any special instructions—whether that’s giving medication, keeping a puppy on track with training, or making sure a senior dog gets their quiet time. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and make sure to leave everything clean and in order. My goal is always to help pets feel secure and loved, so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands.

Julie has been raising her own dog whom she adopted when he was just weeks old. She sees this pet (Romeo) as a family member and never neglects his need for food, water, walks and play.
