About: Dogs are my absolute favorite creatures on earth. I have almost 40 years experience with dogs. I have owned dogs, trained dogs, helped deliver puppies and most importantly loved & spoiled dogs. I currently have a 6 year old little girl Montana that I helped deliver. She is my whole heart. I have a flexible work schedule allowing me to be available for dog walks when needed. I am available every day of the week and on holidays. I am just joining Rover and look forward to building trust & getting regular clients. Fur babies rely on us to take care of them. My babies are loved, spoiled, played with and talked to every day. Yours will be too while in my care. I also have 4 Granddogs that I care for when needed. Gramma spoils them when their Mommy & Daddy are away. I love taking dogs on walks. It's the equivalent of taking children to the playground. Their happiness makes me happy.

About: I've had a dog for nearly 14 years and have always been well acquainted with animals. Over the past few years I've also animal sat for many family and friends. Looking after dogs, cats, and even a rabbit. I'm currently a student at Kishwaukee College and looking for part-time work over the summer to pair up with my internship. My schedule is pretty flexible so pet care is an easy way to work. I'm well aware of how cats and dogs try to bolt through the door when it's opened, or knock food bowls out of your hands, and all of their own unique personalities. So I am prepared to work with pets and owners to make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible.

About: My neighbors and friends have relied on my to take their dogs out for walks and cat sitting since I was in elementary school. I have cared for and owned dogs, cats, and reptiles including a special needs one and am confident I can follow every routine your pet has. I am currently working as a teacher so I will be free all day during the weekends or can additionally do evenings as well during the week! I am stronger than I look so I can handle any size dog and can keep a hold of a leash and keep your pet away from danger.

About: I have taken care of cats, dogs, lizards (and even hedgehogs for a couple years!) since I was 10 years old. I love all pets and am happy to go out and play or sit and relax, all depending on the pet’s needs. I have administered medication to senior cats, middle-aged to senior dogs, and lizards. I do not mind helping to clean your house if there are any accidents or messes made while I am there! I am looking for a summer job as I have a couple smaller, less frequent opportunities throughout the summer. I am going to do my masters at NIU in the fall, so I will be in the area for a while! I would love to get out and do lots of walks to enjoy the summer weather. I have two cats at home that get played with daily and enjoy relaxing with me at the end of the day. Because my cats will eat anything and everything, I am very aware of what is left out in my house as well as other spaces. I am happy to clean up any messes or accidents made while I am at your home and make sure everything is the same or better than you left it for an overnight stay. I have pet sit for many friends and family and have had no complaints! I will make sure to take pictures of your pet so you know they are happy and safe, it’s what I would want from anyone who takes care of my cats!

About: I absolutely love dogs. I’ve always had dogs growing up and love to take care of them. I am very loving and can get along with any dog. I have dog sat for numerous friends and family members and never had any issues. Your dog will love me as much as I’ll love it. I am currently a student athlete right now. Anytime after 12 pm is a good time for me. I can definitely dog walk but can also drop in, feed, and take of dog as need be. I always make sure my dog at home is fed, walked, in a safe environment, and gets the attention it deserves. It makes me happy to make the dog happy!

About: I have been working at Huckleberry's Pet Parlor for the past 2 years as a daycare associate and have always had a passion to work with animals cats or dogs! I am also currently in school to become a licensed Veterinary Technician. I currently work part-time and I am also going to school Mondays and Mornings on Thursdays. I will have time before work and after school to come and give your pet's the love and attention every animal deserves! I can fulfill any needs you have for your cats or dogs in your home! Whether it is walking, playtime, or even if they want some cuddles. I am here to help take care of your lovely animals when you want to take a vacation or have plans.

About: I have always had a pet in the house since before i could walk. I love every single different type of pet and have had just about every type of pet you can have. I am a super active girl so I would love to hangout and play with the younger hyper pets but I can also relax and take care of the older senior pets. I have trained all my own dogs but i wouldn’t call myself a pro. But, if I could help out and I needed to help train i would be more than willing to. I am currently working part-time for 2 different jobs right now, but still have a ton of free time to be able to take care of your pets! I am not actively in school so the only schedule we have to work around is my work schedule but that should be to hard:) I would be able to walk the dogs and could quickly learn their routines and what the owner preferences are. With cats I would help with litter boxes if needed and would gladly play and hangout with the cats. Along with the dogs aswell of course.

“I hired Melanie for 1 hour per day for a week while we were out of town and our son was working during the day. I was attracted to her profile and the fact that she lived nearby. We have a 90 lb doberman, so I needed someone who would be active with her as she needs lots of exercise. Melanie fit the bill! She came over a few times so she and Kai could become comfortable with each other, and we left town with little concern. Melanie gave Kai all the required attention And sent me videos and pics of the walks/runs and play each day. From what I could see and her daily logs, Melanie looked as forward to seeing Kai as Kai was to see her. I would 100% have Melanie back the next time we are out of town.”

About: I am a recent graduate of the University of Illinois where I was a member of a club that trained mobility service dogs in over 40+ commands. I also have two lovely and energetic dogs at home and am familiar with the quirks that come with all types of dogs! I recently graduated from the University of Illinois and am back for the summer before heading to graduate school! I am looking for work to save money for graduate school, and have never met a dog/cat that I have not liked. I am very flexible and open during the next few months and would love to walk/check in on your animal! I have three cats and two dogs at home and they are my favorite part of being home. The responsibilities of owning an animal can absolutely be hard but they provide me with structure and fulfillment. All of my animals are unique and have different routines and I am ready and willing to follow your pet's routine as well!

About: Hello! I have been very lucky to grow up and still currently be surrounded by animals of all kinds.Dogs and cats have always had a special place in my heart. Not only do I live with animals, I have also worked with cats, dogs, and small animals at 2 local shelters. I’m excited to work together! :) I currently am available 6 days a week, excluding Tuesdays. Any other day of the week, I can be there for you and your furry friends needs.
