About: As a farm kid turned professional dog groomer living in the big city, I bring lifelong animal experience and love to every visit. Growing up caring for dogs, cats, horses, and chickens gave me a strong sense of responsibility and confidence with animals of all sizes and temperaments. I’m especially patient with senior dogs and understand the gentle care and extra attention they may need. I tailor each visit to your dog’s unique needs, whether that’s ample time sniffing around in the backyard, a long walk to burn off energy, or calm companionship. I always provide daily photo updates so you can feel confident your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for. I work four days a week, and available all day Mondays and most weekday evenings. When your dog stays with me, they'll enjoy quiet evenings and beautiful sunrises on the porch. We will go on daily walks around the neighborhood twice a day and spend plenty of supervised time outdoors while I garden or read a book in the backyard. Your pup will have a large, fenced backyard to explore, with plenty of interesting scents around my flower and vegetable gardens. And, if your pup desires, there are numerous birds, rabbits and squirrels to chase off the property. If your pup prefers to relax, they can lounge on the shaded porch or cool off inside in the air conditioning. If the weather does not permit us to spend time outdoors, your pup will romp around in a spacious and clean house. They can either curl up in their bed or next to me as I read my book. I keep a close eye on all guest dogs throughout their stay and strive to provide a safe, calm environment. For safety and peace of mind, I generally crate dogs when I need to leave the house, though I am happy to discuss alternative arrangements. When caring for a guest dog, I keep my time away from home to a minimum so l can focus on spoiling your pup.
