I’ve had the joy of working with dogs for over 10 years, from busy doggy daycare and boarding facilities to outdoor dog parks. Along the way, I’ve gained extensive experience in canine behavior, doggy first aid/CPR, and even administering medications such as insulin. I also have a soft spot for senior pups and know the extra care and attention they need to feel safe and comfortable. As a former Doggie Daycare Manager, I was responsible for keeping over 60 dogs happy, healthy, and well-exercised each day. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or quiet time, I create a safe and stimulating environment that meets every dog’s needs. When walking, I take safety seriously. I use a secure 2-leash method—attaching both your leash and my own belt leash—so you can feel confident your pup will always be safe in my care. Above all, I’m passionate about dogs and committed to giving your pet the same love, structure, and attention I’d want for my own. ***prices can be discussed/negotiated if needed. I price my nightly rate based on a number of factors; primarily based on the cut that rover takes. Please feel free to ask any questions.***

Jake is absolutely phenomenal. I could not ask for better care for my fur babies. He keeps me updated on how theyre doing and reaches out with any questions or concerns. Absolutely will be working with him again, and would absolutely recommend him for anyone needing a dedicated and caring sitter. I know my critters are well taken care of when they're with Jake.
Took great care of Leo!
Jake was absolutely incredible. My dogs took to him right away which isn't always the case. He sent me updates everyday multiple times a day. The dogs and I are going through a transition in moving to KC and living just us so there has been a lot of stress in their lives and he catered to that. When I picked them up he gave me a full update. My Bugs ears were starting to get inflamed so he monitored and let me know what was going on. On top of all that, me being new to the area Jake was able to provide me information for good local vets. If I could give 10 stars I would. I will be rebooking. Thank you Jake for being incredible to my fur babies!

Having worked with 60+ dogs daily for the last 11 years, I am confident in my ability to provide a safe, fun, and enriching environment for your pet(s)! I live on a dead end street that has a lively walking path that borders a big field that I love to walk the dogs around.

Safety, trust & environment
Although my yard is unfenced, I have a long leash I like to use to play fetch. If walks have been requested I take a number of safety precautions while on the walk. For example, I always use a 2 leash method. Meaning I will use the clients leash as well as my own leash that I clip to my belt to ensure no pup can bolt away.
A typical day
For the high energy/highly active pups, i take daily walks throughout the day and can lengthen amount of time as needed. A large yard to play in. For the more relaxed dogs, i have comfy beds to just lay and relax in.
