Lifelong Dog Lover
As a young child I begged my parents to get a dog. I took the “D” encyclopedia into my room every night to study dog breeds. I spent years consuming every dog book I could get my hands on. I even created a dog walking business, made fliers, and handed them out to all of my neighbors. I finally got a puppy in 1st grade. She was my best friend. She went along with all of my crazy antics as I tried to make her a sled dog, a hunting dog, and even an agility dog. I also had fish, lizards, and a rabbit. I now live in KC with my husband and our baby! We recently lost both of our senior dogs. I wish I could adopt all of the dogs in need! In the meantime, I would love to help take care of yours.

Katie did a wonderful job taking care of our puppy Tux! He is young so needed frequent potty breaks throughout our time away. She was great at sharing photos, videos, and updates. For first time rover users and puppy parents, Katie was a dream to work with. Tux loved her from the start snd when we got home he seemed so well cared for! We will definitely ask her to help again!

Katie is an animal lover if I ever saw one! She has has adopted two fur babies into her caring home, one of which came from the Husky Rescue. She is very patient with animals and will walk at the pace they are comfortable with. Whether your pets need a walk around the block or a trip to the dog park, Katie is the person for you!

Schedule
I work from home! That means I’ll have plenty of time to spend with your precious dog. I only ask that your dog gets along with babies/kids.

A typical day
My favorite thing is a long daily walk around the neighborhood! We also have a fenced backyard but I love to get out and explore.
