Safety, trust & environment

I offer calm, structured, kennel-based in-home boarding in my clean, finished, climate-controlled basement. This is a great option for dogs who thrive with routine, personal space, and predictable care. Each dog has their own individual kennel run (4×4 or 4×8, depending on size). Dogs from the same family who are comfortable together may share a run for an additional $20/night per dog. This is not free-roam or daycare-style boarding. My setup is intentionally designed for safety, rest, and low stress. 🏡 What’s Included Clean, tiled, finished basement boarding area Individual kennel runs (shared only with same-family dogs if requested) Feeding and care according to owner instructions 1 hour of dedicated, supervised outdoor playtime daily (not including potty breaks) Secure, privacy-fenced backyard Dogs are always under camera surveillance I work nearby Tuesday–Saturday (10am–4pm) and can monitor dogs remotely during that time 🍖 Enrichment & Add-Ons **Kongs & treats Free if provided by owner +$5/day per dog if I provide enrichment treats **15-minute walks +$15 per walk Can be added anytime during the stay **Administered Medication +$5/day for meds that have to be hand given or hand administered (like drops, shots, and pills that can't just be hidden in food 🐶 Best Fit for This Type of Boarding This setup is ideal for: Dogs who are kennel-trained or kennel-comfortable Older dogs or calmer temperaments Dogs who prefer rest over constant stimulation Dogs who do well with routine and structure Dogs who already board comfortably at grooming salons or kennels ***This setup is not ideal for:*** Dogs with severe separation anxiety High-energy dogs needing all-day interaction Dogs requiring constant human presence or free-roam access Dogs that can't navigate stairs My goal is for every dog to feel safe, settled, and stress-free, and honest matching ensures a positive experience for everyone.

Information Adriene N. would like to know about your pet

I will need to know that your dog is not only kennel trained but comfortable in a kennel. While we understand some barking is likely, a dog who is constantly stress barking is not ideal for the other dogs in my care, for me, or for your poor dog! I also need to know if your dog is dog selective or aggressive, is people selective, has any illnesses or medications, is updated on vaccinations, if they try to escape fences/yards/leashes/anything, regular eating and potty habits, etc. I want to know everything I can in order to keep an eye on your pup to the best of my ability.

A typical day

We wake up early, go outside for some potties and sniffs, then back in for breakfast while the kennel run gets turned over by the hotel staff (me), then back in kennel so the other dogs can go outside. Before I leave for work all the pups get an additional potty break and are then given any enrichment toys like frozen stuffed kongs or chews, turn the box fans on for white noise and usually have the radio on low. The entire kennel area is under cameras so I can see everyone while I'm 5 minutes away at work. After I get home from work everyone gets the same routine as morning with potty breaks, served dinner and kennel refreshed and after that everyone gets dedicated supervised outside time to play, sniff, sun bathe, whatever they want! If they want to livingroom crash they can do that also. It's basically their time to just be out of the kennel run. Walkies can also be added on. Then we have one more potty before bedtime. This schedule can be altered to accommodate individual dogs within reason as well.

Pet care experience

Hi! My name is Adriene and I used to be one of the highest rated pet sitters on Rover! I have years of professional experience with dogs, cats, horses, other farm animals, fish & rodents, plus experience working as a maid with other people's cherished belongs. I volunteer and donate to rescue. I have been with Rover for a very long time and have plenty of excellent references! Many of these references come from vets and other pet related places like day cares, boarding facilities, rescues and groomers with whom I have worked with directly. AND of course I have lots of references from pets that I have worked with in the past. I currently own and work full time at The Flying Hair dog grooming salon 5 minutes from my house. I have worked in the past as a vet kennel tech and a dog day play supervisor. I can pop pills in pets like a pro! I can also administer diabetes injections, and eye drops.

Adriene was great. Freyja always looks happy and energetic in the photos she sends, and anxiety free when I pick her up which is very important to me.
