About: I have owned dogs my entire life. I worked part time as a vet tech at an animal rescue/hospital in my hometown and I am a foster for Old Dog Haven. I was lucky enough to visit Villalobos, the famous pit bull rescue in New Orleans. I love all animals and would be honored for the opportunity to take care of your pets while you’re away. I work from home 2 days a week and my office is 5 minutes from home. My schedule is flexible so I am able to take time out for potty breaks, feedings, etc. Weekend boarding is available with some exceptions for weekday boarding and/or doggy daycare. I have a large fenced yard with plenty of room for running and playing fetch. I have an extra large kennel for those pups who are used to being kenneled at night. I am experienced in administering medications, including injections. I have 2 border collie puppies who are tons of fun and a very sweet 4 year old cat living in my home now. I would love to keep your dog safe, warm and well cared for while you’re away!

Lucy has a condition that requires daily medication and a strict diet, so I understand the importance of following directions and carefully adhering to expectations when it comes to cat care. I am also a reliable and responsible teacher with a somewhat flexible schedule who will prioritize your cat's health while you're away. I have a somewhat flexible schedule for work and am able to come before and after work generally speaking. I am OK with early mornings as well. I spend time with your cat or cats the way you request - I can hang out or just be in and out, whatever you need. I am happy to clean out a litterbox, pet them, or play with them, whatever is needed.
