About: I’ve loved and cared for dogs my whole life, growing up with Bernese Mountain Dogs, and now with two rescues! I've worked in an animal shelter with dogs of many sizes, breeds, and temperaments, so I'm skilled at socializing, walking, and playing with dogs with all kinds of personalities. I've also cared for a reactive dog of my own, which has taught me even more about canine body language and how to respond safely. With experience ranging from puppies to seniors, including medical and special needs care, I give every dog the patience, and love they deserve, as if they were my own! I currently have a hybrid position, and hoping to care for animals with my extra time! Due to remote work, my schedule is quite flexible and I'm available for boarding or check ins most days. When I’m caring for pets in your home, my goal is to make things feel as normal and comfortable for them as possible. I stick to your usual routines so they feel safe and loved while you’re away. Our pups excelled with her, her care and communications were wonderful. The pups often get anxious when we are gone and they all did wonderful and were so calm when we returned. “Repeat stay with Christian coming and staying in my place with the dogs so they could keep their routine. As last visit, Christian did great. Dogs were happy, got plenty of play time and no issues for the dogs due to being able to stay home. The dogs love Christian. My bigger dog does not like people in her house and barks like crazy when folks visit. She meets Christian at the door, works out she knows him (and this was just their second stay with him) and she doesn't bark. Huge sign she is comfortable with him.”
