About: I have basically never not had a cat(s). They are my everything!! I’m patient with timid cats and not afraid of cats with a bit of an attitude. My beloved cats, Kona and Maui, were cuddly sisters until one day in 2020 when they got spooked and decided to attack each other! After around a year of reintroduction, they finally were able to co-exist again. They still get in a hissy-sissy mood from time to time, but point is, I’m a pro at distraction and calming anxious kitties <3 I love all cats with my whole heart, and I’d love to take care of yours while you’re away!

We have two lab mixes an a jackrussel mix in our home with us whom we love deeply. I live on a large forested property in Redmond that's fenced in, we love to get to know new personalities an our pups will never pass on a new play mate. We like to spend time outside but if the weather is bad it's cuddle central inside. We do about 4 or 5 potty breaks a day an one or two good play sessions outside before settling into the evening. Outside time is monitored the whole time to ensure everyone is safe and happy while playing in our beautiful yard. I am comfortable giving oral meds an insulin shots to our dearly beloved friends. We are a medical issue an disability friendly household that can take care your your best friends needs with the upmost care. We also have experience with Giant breeds an petite alike so please bring your "horses" an lil "bed bugs" to play or cuddle we don't discriminate. I have a special soft spot of senor dogs an their powdered sugar faces an will do everything to support our senior citizens in their twilight years. I have plenty of enrichment toys, treats, an orthopedic bed to meet your old pals needs. I do not provide care to cats, not because I don't want to I'm sadly allergic. I would love if in your animals care package they have at least 1 toy, harness is preferable, something that smells like you an your home like their bed or a blanket (animals are smell based so it a comfort), their food bowl, dog food enough for the stay. An a little letter at least to tell me feeding an walking schedules.

For smaller dogs, the fenced space around my house may be more than enough room. Also my years of experience with a range of animal health care issues allows me the necessary confidence to know when your loved one needs additional care or vet care. Before leaving your pet with me, we will go over all of their dietary, medical, and social needs and requirements so that I can make informed choice and keep them on a routine which is comfortable for them.
“Zappy is fantastic!! Super communicative, which I really appreciate. Her dog is sweet and gets a long with mine very well, which helps his anxiety. My dog is always super stressed at drop off because he hates to be away from Mama, but after only 5 minutes, I get a picture of a happy and relaxed dog! I've definitely had sitters with whom he didn't relax and he always looked stressed/sad in pictures, but never with Zappy! She engages him in his favorite activity (fetch) and definitely treats him as if he were her own. I would definitely recommend her to anyone and will rebook in the future.”

About: I have taken care of many pets, mostly cats over the years. I have experience with grooming cats, cleaning litter boxes, cleaning mess spots, and playing with them. I also have experience walking and caring for dogs. I used to own a hamster and know how to clean out their cages and check on their food and water. I currently do not have a job and am hoping to find some families to help out here. Currently I am free almost all the time! The only things that would conflict with me being able to care for your pet would be if I am babysitting. I know how to wrangle dogs if they get to rowdy and to keep them away from other dogs if the other dog is too dangerous. I also know how mischievous cats can be and know their tricks when they are up to something.

About: Experienced dog bather, sitter, and owner. I can handle any dog big or small, high energy, timid, low energy, giant breeds, etc. Although I will not cut hair, with my grooming experience and with a willing dog I can trim nails and bath if needed. I have a dog park down the street if that is a part of your dogs routine. I have a large availability if sitting is needed for multiple days. I work 2 days a week but am flexible. I will be able to take on multiple day sitting with minimal time away from your dog/home. I understand dogs with specific needs and instructions. My pup is also particular, so please dont be afraid to let me know your needs and I can work with you to give your pup the best experience. I dont have a fenced in yard but I do live very close to a fenced in dog park, as well as walking trails directly next to me. I have a large car with a dog seat cover in the back if I need to take your pup to bark at the park. I prefer to dog sit in the clients home where the pup will be most comfortable but am willing to watch in my own home if its the right fit.

She also has a plethora of different toys and stimuli to challenge him mentally as well. He came home with two new tricks, shake/high five AND hide and seek with a stuffed ball! I can't wait to keep working with the foundation she was able to lay with him. “Rachel was able to watch Aspen for a last-minute booking when prior care fell through. As he is newly adopted, a puppy (at 7 mos), was abused in his very early puppyhood, and suffers some ongoing anxiety, to say I was nervous about how he was going to do was an understatement. Upon meeting Rachel at the meet & greet, I was instantly at ease. She has a calm and soothing demeanor, and was such a perfect fit for him, that I could not believe our luck. It felt like the universe conspired to make sure SHE would be his first sitter, so he can continue to learn that the world has many kind and loving people in it. Rachel was a proactive communicator, sharing pictures and updates, sometimes almost at the exact moment I found myself thinking, "I wonder what they're up to?" I was able to relax and put my focus where it needed to be: with my extended family for my mom's memorial service. I cannot express what a gift it was to not have to worry about this sweet little guy for my first time away from him. As I look ahead to future travel, I'll check in with Rachel first.”
