“Athena took fantastic care of our 5 cats (2 needing daily medication to include injection and pills). She made sure to verify which medication was whos and ensured she had all the information she would need to be able to properly check in on them. She gave awesome checkin reports with pictures and even took care of basic things for us without even being asked. Overall 10/10 very professional, highly recommend.”

“Grace always takes such great care of our 2 cats. She was extra patient with getting our cat to eat who has been having appetite issues. And we always receive lots of cute pictures!”

About: I have been around dogs since I was about 8 years old and have experience with both small and large breeds. I have owned 4 dogs myself and caring for dogs has always been something I genuinely enjoy. Over the years, I have gained experience with dogs of different ages, sizes, breeds, energy levels, and personalities. I understand that every dog has unique needs and routines, whether that means lots of playtime and exercise or a calmer, more relaxed environment. I am comfortable with feeding schedules, walks, basic care routines, and giving dogs the attention and patience they deserve while their owners are away. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets. I will always treat your dogs like my own and provide reliable, loving, and attentive care. I’m currently working a flexible schedule and I am most consistently available in the afternoon and evening times during the weekdays and fully on the weekends to provide extra time for your animals! I have a fully fenced yard and the space/ability to crate as needed. I do currently have 2 friendly cats in home who are used to other cats/dogs. Each member of my household has experience with cats and dogs and would be excited to show yours some love and attention up close or far away! I always prioritize creating a safe, calm, and comfortable environment for every pet in my care. I understand that every animal has different needs and personalities, so I take the time to learn their routines, preferences, and comfort levels whether inside your home or mine.
“Our Kona is quite anxious and not very unhappy when we are away, but Nina with her kind and gentle nature, won both our fur babies over instantly. Nina provided excellent warm and loving care and even stayed late one evening when it was storming so Willy & Kona wouldn’t be alone. For us it was so reassuring to know our babies were in such good hands.”

“Erin is a wonderful pet sitter. She made sure my cat was very well cared for and loved everyday. My shy kitty really liked Erin as she would greet her at the door with lots of purrs and cuddles. I highly recommend Erin and will use her again.”

“Chris was awesome and took such great care of my fur babies! I got daily updates and though I know they likely ran and hid when he arrived each day, he let me know he spoke with them and played with their toys for a bit so they could hear. Upon my return, I got a warm welcome from both of The Boys and could tell that they were more relaxed. I didn't get the cold shoulder treatment as I typically do. I will definitely call on Chris again and I would highly recommend him!!”

“Rhianon took amazing care of my 3 cats for a week while we were on vacation. She checked in every day and even made friends with our "stranger danger" cat. Administered meds with no issues and overall took great care of our babies.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for many years and have had pets my entire life. I currently have three dogs of my own, so I truly understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet—they’re family. I genuinely love spending time with dogs and getting to know their unique personalities. Whether your dog is energetic and playful, shy, or more laid-back, I take the time to make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and happy. I stick closely to your dog’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any medications if needed. My home has a fenced yard for safe, supervised playtime and plenty of exercise. I also have three friendly dogs who are used to being around others. I always take introductions slowly to make sure everyone feels comfortable, and I can separate dogs if needed so they have their own space. While you’re away, I’ll treat your dog like one of my own—giving them lots of attention, care, and affection. I send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is safe, loved, and in good hands. My goal is simple: a happy, well-cared-for dog and a stress-free experience for you. My schedule is flexible, so I’m able to give pets plenty of attention and care throughout the day. I’m available during the week and weekends, and your dog won’t be left alone for long periods. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priority. I have a fenced yard for safe, supervised playtime and follow each dog’s routine closely, including feeding, walks, and any medications.
About: Hi, I’m Cheyenne, and I hope to be your beloved pets new caregiver. My goal is to give you the peace of mind that I as a pet parent would want while away. I have a seven-year-old German Shepherd, who I have been with through each stage of his life. This has allowed me to gain the experience to care for puppies, troublesome teenage dogs, and senior dogs as well. You can expect clear communication, timely updates, and plenty of photos so that there is no worry in your mind while you are away from your pet. I am willing to be flexible with a schedule that works for you and your pet. I am an early riser so if you need a morning drop in or a walk, I would be happy to provide you that service. Given it is summertime I am also available for evening walks once the heat of the day has cooled down. At the time I currently do not offer in-home pet services, but will happily come by your residence to care for your pet. I strive to create a sense of normalcy for your pet while you are away whether that be two cuddle them on the couch or play fetch in the backyard.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Stone Bridge
Stephanie was always on time and very interactive with our kitties, sent daily photos, and is personable, pleasant and professional. It's been a pleasure dealing with her. Stephanie gave us peace of mind while we were away on vacation, and she was a great help to my elderly mother in feeding the cats and scooping the litter boxes. We would definitely book Stephanie again!

Alyssa took wonderful care of my cat while I was away. She sent regular updates and pictures, which really put my mind at ease, and kept me informed the whole time. It was clear my cat was well cared for and comfortable. I’d absolutely book with Alyssa again and highly recommend her!
Chelsea took exceptional care of our cats while we were away. She communicated clearly and sent so many photos for us to see! Our kids missed the cats so much and being able to see them and know they were being loved meant the world to them. Our cats are very shy, but Chelsey was able to befriend them and give them some much needed snuggles. She not only followed the instructions we left, but she also went above and beyond to make sure we came home to a clean and nice smelling house. I will definitely check Chelsey's availability the next time we go away, as well as reccomend this app and Chelsey to anyone who is in need of pet sitting in the area. We are so impressed, thank you!!!!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Stone Bridge. On Rover:
- 97% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 99% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
