“Jasmine was phenomenal! She provided wonderfully thorough updates about my cat, letting me know her behavior and sending me a lot of pictures (some of my cat being silly and some nice ones too). I feel very lucky to have hired Jasmine for her excellent service because I booked last second and needed to extend the length of cat sitting. Thank you so much, Jasmine!”

“She did an amazing job taking care of our four little heathens… I mean, kitties! 🐾 Everyone was always fed, watered, and the litter robots were spotless. We felt totally at ease knowing she was checking in every day (and her updates were wonderfully detailed!). Super reliable, caring, and patient with our crew — highly recommend.”

“Jazmin took great care of my cat, Aia! She came over early in the morning on a weekend was I was away. She gave her food and water, cleaned her litter, and played with her during her drop-ins. I love the photos she took. Thanks Jazmin for your help! Everything was in order when I came home ?”

“Grace was amazing! Our previous sitter dropped out last minute, Grace was available and responsive and we were able to get everything sorted 2 days before we left. She even got our shyest cat out and about and made sure to send plenty of action shots of the cats playing!”

“Sarah was great! I have a very shy cat and she made the effort to find her hiding spots to send me a picture to confirm she was doing okay. Would recommend Sarah to anyone who wants to make sure their fur babies are doing okay!”

About: I have had dogs my entire life! From all sizes and ages of dogs! I care and love for all animals like they are my own. I’m currently working but have plenty of free time! I usually go into work around 7am and get off around 1 or 2 pm! I have a very open schedule. I follow directions easily and want what is best for your pet! I live in a neighborhood so I can take daily walks if pet is staying with me.

“Zara was so sweet and took great care of my pack! This was my first time using rover and it was a lovely experience. I will definitely reach out to Zara again when we need someone to check on our pups!”

“Chelsey came by to check on Maggie. She will care for her when we leave town, and I wanted Maggie to get to know her. It will be the first time we have left Maggie with someone other than family. It is evident that Chelsey loves animals and truly cares about their safety and comfort. We are fortunate to have found her. She will be my new Rover dog sitter for sure.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for many years and have had pets my entire life. I currently have three dogs of my own, so I truly understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet—they’re family. I genuinely love spending time with dogs and getting to know their unique personalities. Whether your dog is energetic and playful, shy, or more laid-back, I take the time to make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and happy. I stick closely to your dog’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any medications if needed. My home has a fenced yard for safe, supervised playtime and plenty of exercise. I also have three friendly dogs who are used to being around others. I always take introductions slowly to make sure everyone feels comfortable, and I can separate dogs if needed so they have their own space. While you’re away, I’ll treat your dog like one of my own—giving them lots of attention, care, and affection. I send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is safe, loved, and in good hands. My goal is simple: a happy, well-cared-for dog and a stress-free experience for you. My schedule is flexible, so I’m able to give pets plenty of attention and care throughout the day. I’m available during the week and weekends, and your dog won’t be left alone for long periods. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priority. I have a fenced yard for safe, supervised playtime and follow each dog’s routine closely, including feeding, walks, and any medications.
“Ciara was amazing with our fur babies. She even took the time to give extra pets to my snuggle bug Millie who loves attention. She is punctual, trustworthy and made even our shy boy Bruce comfortable. Highly recommend Ciara as she is not only great with dogs and trustworthy but she really takes the time and gives extra care to every aspect of pet sitting.”

I am offering services including dog walking, drop in visits at your home, overnight visits at your home, and long-term home visits. Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Bowers Hill. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
